Very quiet and comfortable rooms. The staff was responsive through the app. Street parking was nearby and easy to find - some free and some paid, depending on availability. The national palace was a short (10-15 minute) walk away. Grocery stores and places to eat were also a short walk away (5-15 minutes). The hotel is in walking distance of bus stops, too. Pena Palace and Quinta do Regaleira are a 70 minute walk or 35 minute drive uphill from this hotel

There is no check-in staff so you have to carry out the check-in yourself in the app. There was a small electrical issue with the lighting sensor causing the lights to flash

The room was clean, functional and comfortable. Perfect for what we needed in general. The air conditioning worked well and the kitchen was a good space to prepare meals in. Our friends stayed in a fancier hotel and when we compared experiences, we didn't feel like we were missing out! Proximity to the train stations, bus stops, the tram, cafes, restaurants and shops was all excellent. There's a shared toilet with a "bidet toilet seat" which was a thoroughly sparkling experience for a first time user!

We did not get a key card to the room and instead had to put in a pin code to access. The room door kept flashing red half way through putting the code in so you needed to do it really fast or else you weren't getting in. Not easy after some wine or beer! A couple of the sockets didn't work very well, it would also have been nice for the clothes rail to have some hangars.

Absolutely good value for money. Great location for visiting Sintra, close to the train station but in a quiet street, and there's a supermarket nearby. The room was comfortable and had enough space for the two of us, the bathrooms were clean and in the kitchen there was everything we needed to prepare breakfast or supper. The whole place was kept clean by a very nice staff. We didn't meet the owner, but he answered promptly when we had a problem, a big thank you for that.

In our room there were no closets, wardrobes or shelves for clothes. That was a minor inconvenience for two female travellers.

The hosts were very useful and answered quickly. The self check in was easy and convenient. There was not a lot of noise coming from outside or the other rooms. Everything was clean. The hosts were nice enough to hold my bags for the day of check out. Also the establishment is located perfectly. There is a mini market right outside and it’s near the train station with buses that can bring you to the castles. It’s a 10 minutes walk to the old town of sintra.

The bathroom on my level was quite small with not a lot of shelf space to put my stuff. I booked a single room and it was very small with a low ceiling that made a side of the room unusable. It was ok for one night but I would not book for longer. Maybe the double rooms are bigger.

We arrived early and called the guesthouse, they were very friendly and let is check in early without problem. You get in and out with code, very practical. Our room was on the main floor. Gigantic bed with comfy mattress. Good aircondition. Common bathrooms and showers, modern style, fresh and clean. Kitchen is sparsely decorated and looks older, but has the essentials. Nicely decorated living room to read or relax. Fast internet connection. Clean guesthouse. Good location. Would stay here again.

If your room is on the main floor, bring ear plugs. Walls and doors are thin, and the doors close with a bang.

The host was there everyday cleaning and maintaining the place. Large living room, fairly equipped kitchen, clean bathrooms with bidet. The shared bathrooms not a problem at all as there are 2 on the 1st floor and 1 on the 2nd floor. Each bed has a set of towels. More towels in the bathrooms and replaced daily. There are Asian restaurants, kebab house next door. There are bakeries, pastry shops and ice cream house nearby. The bus stop to the palaces is just a walking distance away. Can check-in early. Just wrote and email requesting early check-in and was answered quickly and granted. We booked 3 rooms and 2 of them were ready for early check-in. You can leave your things with the host if you come early and if the rooms are not yet ready.

The location just 5 minutes walk from the sintra train station, which also bus stop for tourist bus that goes to palaces. Next door there's chinese restaurant and burger place and one minute away from mini market. The bathroom and toilet always clean and spotless. The host always quick to reply via whatsapp and very accommodating. Full kitchenette, €0.50 coffee from coffee machine and free tea. The person that comes in the morning to clean very nice and polite. Feels like home to me. Definitely a place to stay while you in Sintra.

Nothing.

Very modern house, super technological, very nice living room and common spaces. The host was super responsive and easy to check in the process, and they helped me with the luggage.

Honestly, my room was cold, although i used the air, but i understand it's winter and Sintra is colder in the winter. 2 i used the living room, but the light is with a sensor, so it goes off if you stay still, which was a bit annoying if you want to read. I also did not like the code you are being given to open your room or the entrance, i m a bit old fashion, i forget quickly and i really don t like to be dependent on the phone or take it with me all the time.

The room was exquisite - loved the little balcony and the luxury body soap on the pillow and other luxuries. The location is perfect - out of the hustle and bustle but very close to walk to the tourist info to catch a bus to the castles and other tourist sites. The kitchen was very well equipped and we could make our own meals. The finishing of the bathrooms especially is very tasteful.

The check -in was problematic because we had to do it online and failed. So we could only get in when the friendly cleaner let us in. So we wasted a whole afternoon waiting for the code and had to do two trips the next day to fit all our plans in - Cascais and the one castle. It was exhausting. Other guests also let us in before we got the code. They also complained about it. But the host made up for it by allowing us to leave our luggage there the next day until late. It is a pity we never met.

Really nice staff, quick response, spotless rooms, well equipped kitchen, well decorated room. Bath room super clean, though it's shared, it feels almost like privately used.

Parking is a bit difficult as it's locate right next to a big fresh market. A bit noise in the early morning because of the market and lots of traffic around as well. check in process is a bit complicated, have to really spend some time study the process, filling in online forms. But it's all worth it.
