A Five-Star Stay with a Five-Star Team! If I could give this hotel more than five stars, I would! From the moment I arrived, jet-lagged and resembling something between a zombie and a lost tourist, the incredible staff made me feel like royalty. First, a huge shoutout to Triston, who ensured I had the best breakfast. And when I say "best," I mean "fit for a king who hasn’t seen food in weeks." The man must have a sixth sense for hungry travelers because my plate was piled high with deliciousness before I even realized I needed it. Then, there were Julie and Sophie, who took hospitality to another level. These two made sure I was safe, comfortable, and had absolutely everything I could possibly need. I half-expected them to tuck me in at night with a bedtime story. And then there's Brett—a hero among men. After learning I had been traveling for over 16 hours, he made sure a well-deserved tipple was waiting for me in my room. I almost shed a tear of gratitude. Speaking of the room—it was perfect. Warm, clean, comfortable, with a glorious sea view. It was so quiet and peaceful that even my snoring didn’t disturb me (a rare feat). I only stayed for two nights, but every moment was impeccable. This wasn’t just a hotel stay—it was an experience. If you’re looking for a place where the staff go above and beyond (and may possibly adopt you as one of their own), look no further. Highly recommend! 🚀💙

Good location with lovely views over the bay and close to the Princess Pavilion which we were attending that evening. Parking was easy and available. The staff members were extremely helpful and friendly despite coping with a coach party that had booked in on the night we were there. Breakfast was very good.
Although the view from our room on the second floor was outstanding, the room itself was tiny and rather dated. Finding the room in a maze of stairs and fire doors was quite an adventure - I'm really glad the fire alarm didn't go off because getting out would be a nightmare. The double bed was small and uncomfortable. Somehow, a shower, toilet and tiny sink had been fitted into a bathroom that could have been no more than 5ft by 4ft which made having a shower almost impossible and there was no space to put anything.

The staff is antentive and only too willing to assist The location is splendid. The beach is just opposite together with beautiful walks along then sea front. They have a lovely garden and indoor lounge to enjoy the sea view, whatever the weather. We went by train, Falmouth docks is only a short level walk away. There is a shuttle bus that takes you to various locations along the sea front and to Falmouth town centre.
Having to come home!!!!!!

The hotel was in the perfect location the free parking is also very handy. From the moment that you walk in the staff really make you feel welcome. The rooms are always clean and tidy and well equipped. There is a lot of choice when it comes to the breakfast which is great and all of the food is cooked to a high standard. The evening meal has a wide choice to choose from and again is always cooked to perfection from the moment you walk into the restaurant the staff great you with a smile and make you feel very comfortable.

We liked the location close to the beach where we swam and being within walking distance of town. We liked the external deck where it was possible to have lunch and snacks. In the evening, even though the kitchen was closed, the person in the bar kindly brought us some Cornish ice cream. This made our day for us!
I thought our room was small for the price I paid. I couldn't recommend it as a romantic place to stay because there are coach parties of people who visit the hotel with evening entertainment.

Incredibly clean, and clearly decoration through out the hotel was kept up to date - both in corridors, loos and bedrooms. They provided 'what they said on the tin' - didn't over-raise expectations. Staff very helpful, friendly and yet professional. Cost of meals and drinks very fair indeed.
Slightly old fashioned / retro in outlook / menu etc but delivered very well on that. Bathroom needs a little more attention - bit tatty around the edges and shower very good, but cubicle too small really for comfort.

The staff were friendly and helpful. the room was bright and clean. The location was excellent. So peaceful looking out at the sea, the evening meal was ok but the breakfast was awful.
The breakfast was dire. We ordered full English with great anticipation. The bacon was so hard you couldn't cut it, the same with the sausage. the fried bread was soggy and the toast was hard. I think it may have been in a warming cabinet for a couple of hours. looking for a positive it was hot.

Membly Hall is a gem! The view from the conservatory, just off the bar, takes your breath away! You can see all around Falmouth Bay across to Pendennis Castle, out to sea, and over to Gyllinvase Beach and beyond. I stayed in room 11, which was a sea view, double room, and I had the same wonderful view. The housekeepers do an exceptional job. It was immaculate. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the sheets perfectly clean and of a high standard. There was even a quality blanket as well as the duvet. Fresh, soft towels and slippers are on top. A hospitality tray had Fair-trade drink choices, and biscuits! Breakfast was to die for! An extensive buffet with many juice choices, cereals, yoghurts, fresh and tinned fruit in bowls, pastries, cereal bars, jams, fresh coffee, a range of teas. I had a glass of oats, yoghurt, dried banana and fresh berries which was mouthwatering. Then there is a hot choice, full English, poached haddock, grilled kippers, various eggs. You can customise anything. It states on the menu to ask if you have any dietary requirements. I asked for a Vegetarian full English, and I had the most delicious veggie sausage, fried egg, fresh tomato, pot of beans, fried bread, hash browns, and toast. I had a sea view breakfast table also. My en suite was a good size, and I had a lovely hot shower. It was quiet at night also, so you sleep well. The breakfast staff were lovely. My waiter was very professional, and the pregnant waitress was kind and helpful. The male owner was cheery and professional. My fellow travellers were a friendly, lovely bunch! The Hotel is absolutely beautiful. You really feel spoilt!
Unfortunately, the older lady on welcome reception was quite dour, and didn't smile or engage well. The young bar man had a bad attitude, and was very abrupt, even giving me a glare at one point! Snatching the nuts from the bar and not even asking if I wanted a drink! So my welcome wasn't the best! Just be aware! There are a few hidden charges if you don't respect the place. £150 fine for cleaning if you go against the no smoking rule. £300 fine for damage. Full replacement cost of item if you spoil it. Also, £5.00 charge for each time you order room service, which could mount up! You also get charged for taking breakfast items out of the restaurant. I also banged my head on the shower tray a few times as it's not in the best place!

Hotel is clean and safe and is great value for the price. Julie and Mathew are first class and always welcome and make sure that all is what it should be during your stay. The food is of a high quality and served in a timely manor with the waiters and waitresses making sure that all is okay from the moment you walk in to the dinning area to the the time you leave. I have never had a bad meal and always plenty on the plate. The rooms that I have stayed in are of a good standard and always fresh a clean.

Staff very accommodating Provided extra de cafe satchets Happy for my student child to visit my room Ground floor room provided on a medical request
Limited parking, lucky to find a space in the evening ( one left) would have been stressful if that slot hadn’t been available. I would have liked very much to be told I could have a discount for a return visit, my kids at univ there so I’ll be done again. A discount for my next visit would have secured another booking.
