Location is superb. I am able to get around taipei via public bus too. Hostel is opp Q square mall. Surrounded by 7 eleven etc and many eatery. They have very nice breakfast cafe at the hostel at level 1, pls visit them they have many nice stuffs. Both staff at the hostel and cafe are friendly and helpful too. They have bookstore cafe too. There is a lift in the hostel but there are some rooms which may need to take the stairs instead. Common areas and toilets are quite clean. The shared room which I was assigned to has a tiny window and natural sunlight. My phone was damaged during mountain trip. Staff provided support by helping to find nearest repair shop. A big thank you to whoever you are.

They do not practice daily cleanliness. As of what I heard from the staffs conversation, they did not clean the room for 2 days. 😅 Strongly suggest them to clean it daily or alternate days for shared room like basic sweeping and mopping will be good. I did not know there is a water dispenser located at level 2 till one day I decided to walk down the stairs.

The location is very good as it is walking distance to the Taipei Main Station, eateries (e.g. sushi, fried chicken and many more) and convenience stores (Family Mart/7-11), as well as the Ningxia Night Market. I liked that the breakfast voucher which is redeemable at the cafe adjoining the hostel could be stacked and used as "cash" (voucher has NT$50 value) instead of redeeming 1 of 3 sandwiches (apple-tuna, egg, BLT). The sandwiches (apple-tuna, BLT which I tried) are delicious! There is a nice kitchen/dining area with water dispenser. The room is on the small side but it was cozy and comfortable. I think I prefer the single ensuite room (no balcony) as compared with the double room (with balcony) in terms of size and layout. The ensuite toilet-washroom for the single ensuite room (no balcony) comes with a full size sink unlike the double room (with balcony) which comes with a small sink.

The single ensuite room (no balcony) I checked into was on level 4 and there is no elevator. The tap at the sink is connected to the telephone shower hose. Whilst this in itself is fine but one has to remember to switch the telephone shower back to the tap or risk getting an unwanted shower when one wants to use the tap/sink.

I stayed for 10 days in a basic double room (314) with own bathroom. Room looked exactly like the one showed in the hostels description. Bed was very comfortable, big window and a smaller window that could be opened. I never had any issues with noise from the rooms around. AC works great. Plenty of power sockets. Its a small room but has everything you need. Location is very good with only a few minutes walking to Taipei main station (Airport Express and other MRT Lines) and Zhongshan Station (Red and Green Line MRT). The Bulding is beeing kept well and has a very nice common kitchen with all the amenities you could think of.

As others mentioned, the shower hose is attached to the bathroom sink which is kind of weird and not the most convenient solution. It wasn't a big deal for me though. What really surprised me was that despite the very nice common area guests didn't seem to want to interact with others. I have spent more than half a year in hostels in the past and always met interesting people from all over. Here however, most guests sitting in the common area where busy starring at their mobile devices and only on rare occasions someone greeted back. This obviously is not the fault of the hostel but I still wanted to mention it. I have met great people during my time in Taipei, but none of them at the hostel besides the very friendly lady during check in and check out.

Large hostel that is professional and did everything you needed. The room was very small but organised well with the bed in a loft space so it is quite close to the roof if you are a little claustrophobic. It still had room for a sofa and the bathroom was clean and tidy.

The staff were professional, and the place had everything you want from a hostel but the place did lack a bit of soul. Breakfast wasn't technically included....but you got a discount off the breakfast menu. You could order in a way that made it free but that was limited.

The hostel is right in between Taipei Main station and Zhongshan which makes it really convenient to walk around for transport, shops and places to eat. The hostel itself was pretty comfortable as the space was good, aircon was cold and there common space was nice. The breakfast options were great and topping up a bit more felt quite worth it. The staff were very friendly and chatty especially Lynny so this help make the stay very enjoyable!

In the hostel rooms theres not much space to keep your luggage so you'll need to leave it on the floor where you and your roommates will walk through so just need to be mindful of the sounds of packing and unpacking. The aircon did take a bit of time to cool but was good once it started

The manager Liao was extremely kind and lovely with me. He came to the hostel to show me how I could go inside cause I was struggling with the door, later he offer me some food if I want and invite me me to join a meal in the evening. I was the only guest this night so Liao made a diner in the livinroom with his friends and invite me to join with them and drink some beer. the experience was incredible and all of them was so enchanting and try to recomend me the best places of Taiwan to visit. Thanks a lot, I will come back for sure!

Location is excellent, near to Taipei Main Station and Zhongshan subway. Mattress is placed on a raised wooden platform, mattress is the harder kind which works for me. There is a functional window in the room which is great for ventilation. There were breakfast vouchers given (NTD70 for food and NTD30 for drink per day) to offset breakfast purchase at level 1 of the property. Breakfast was awesome.

I had 1 big luggage, when opened, it filled half the floor space. I would imagine it to be challenging if it was two persons with 2 big luggages.

As a first-time visitor to Taiwan, I'm delighted to have easy access to transportation and even closer convenience stores. The residential assistants are incredibly charming and welcoming, which instantly put us at ease. As for the room, it's clean and cozy, just as I had anticipated based on the description. I also appreciated the sheet replacement and bin emptying services, which was an added bonus for cleanliness.

This is more of a precautionary note than a strict warning: It's advisable to avoid using the shower during peak hours, as it may take some time for the warm water to become available.

The facilities are good and cleaned very often. The location is convenient; it is just 3 minutes' walk to the Taipei shopping mall and station. The breakfast options are flexible and delicious. Staff are friendly; you can leave your baggage there before check-in or after checkout time for your flights.

The 3 pm check-in time is a bit late; checking in at 1 or 2 pm would be better. I stayed in a shared dorm, and a lady used a solid perfume that created a strong scent for the rest of my stay. I hope there is a rule not to use smell/cologne in a shared room.

Breakfast with choice of sandwich was nice. Try apple ham option. Location was not bad. About 10+ min walk to Zhongshan shopping area. Room was good enough for size with a couple carry on sized luggage. Big window for natural light. Aircon was working well. Plugs at good location at head of bed. Quiet room. Not much noise from traffic or outside room. Bathroom cleaned regularly. Lift available to rooms. Shared fridge available. One large table for eating at. Architecture of building was interesting. Only 1 block, smaller location than expected. Bookshop was decorated nicely.

Breakfast should serve water too as bread was slightly dry. Bathroom slightly small and showing some signs of wear and tear. Check-in was not 24 hours, closed at 9pm which could be a rush. Convenience stores nearby but nearest one needed to cross the street which had a traffic light that stopped working in the evening. Only allowed to eat in rest area, could be inconvenient. Could have more spaces to sit beyond large table area. Water cooler on 1st and 2nd floor only.
