The location is brilliant, walking distance to tourist attractions, trams and buses, Cavill Ave shopping, and Surfers Paradise beach. The rooms are spacious and quiet. We had great views over the river. Staff are lovely and professional.

The rooms are a little "dated" and accessibility can be an issue for people with injuries as there are stairs inside apartments into living rooms, and stairs into the shower area. Make sure you inform reception when booking so you can get a room that meets your accessibility requirements. If you plan on cooking in your apartment make sure you bring or buy plenty of oil for it- the cookware is basic and not non-stick.

Pleasantly surprised by this one. Whilst the decor may be outdated, the sheer size, cleanliness, excellent location, friendly service and comfortable master bed was all pretty great. And given that was the cheapest room available when we went to the Gold Coast, we were totally surprised by how much we liked our stay. The spa inside is weird and outdated and we loved it so much! It was spacious and comfortable and the whole family got, which made for a funny memorable experience. The pool outside was warm and deep and we had a gorgeous evening swimming in it all together. Stunning views of the river too! We will stay again

The staff were very kind and helpful. The check-in was smooth. When I went down to reception to ask for another blanket, the staff assisted no hesitation. On another day, the staff kindly assisted me to book extra nights during a busy period over christmas and when we were checking out the staff allowed myself and children an extra half an hour to organise our belongings and were very patient and understanding.. The hotel has a lovely pool with a cool water slide for the older kids, a nice bbq are, and is in a fantastic location! Food and shops and beaches and fishing, night-life, everything you need in the one space. Loved it here, and will definitely be back!.

Awesome location. Our 1 bedroom apartment with spa was very spacious, lots of hanging room, great spa, excellent little kitchen. Staff at reception (Elizabeth) was lovely and extremely helpful. I had read some poor reviews prior to staying so I was a little anxious, however, our room was great! Obviously not a 5 star hotel but was awesome for the price. Definitely needs a slight upgrade - paint etc but didn't bother us.

I prefer a doona/quilt. Only had sheets and 1 blanket. But I requested additional blankets from Reception which was fine.

Excellent location, friendly staff. The jacuzzi was a nice bonus. For 3 people, it was an ok apartment. The bed was comfortable, the sofa bed not super comfy but if you're not picky it will do. We arrived in the morning and still got to check in without waiting because the room was ready. This was much appreciated.

The windows of the aparment were a bit loose and made noise in windy weather! We fixed this by stuffing some toilet paper in there to fill the gap. It also gets cold in cold weather but don't worry, just use the AC to heat up the place. You can also ask for extra blankets.

Location! The car park was secure and it was a family friendly place.

Level 1 could have been cleaner as it was where the pool and smoking area were. when it rained the drains around the pool area were blocked and it made walking to facilities a little dangerous. The designated smoking area wasnt sheltered enuf when it rained ! Room 709 was an end room so next to road and should be soundproofed ! not hearing traffic and ppl at night would make the room easier to sleep in!

Location was perfect, very spacious room with beautiful view overlooking the river. Spa was great, Pool was nice & warm for autumn, warmer than neighbouring hotels we visited so kids enjoyed themselves. Wifi is top notch! Very clean apartment we loved it.

Laundry facilities could be better - single washing machine on floor is tiny & needs regular cleaning. Noise from neighbouring nightlife - a chance for soundproofing?. Not enough blankets in the family room. 2 double beds, yet 1 bed had nothing more than a sheet for cover & no extra in cupboard (nitpicking here, but we were there in Autumn & both nights were cold!). Not a fan of the parking - no lift access on entry level to parking, overflow doesn't have direct access to room via lift @ $15 a night we've paid nothing for better in the area).

The reception staff were excellent and we enjoyed a carpark for $15. The location was spectacular and being on floor 8 we had an awesome view of the canals, and could see the see peaking though on the other side.

The venue is older and has obviously seen many guests. A steam clean of the couches wouldn't go astray. The cleaning staff need a reminder to check the fridge and between the cushions, and folding spare blankets would at least allow an illusion that they are clean for every guest.

Check in was so easy and the reception staff were professional and welcoming, We loved being on the top floor, our view of the river was spectacular!, even with the rain and storms. Our room was spacious, tidy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The pool was lovely and we had a blast. Would definitely come back!

The complimentary coffee sachets were mouldy, and we didn't have enough towels for showering and swimming for 4 people. But we made do and still had the best time.

All good. Access to Surfers shopping, restaurants and beach 100%. The room quite spacious and comfortable. The views up and down the Nerang River and back to the mountains and great sunsets are tops. Trams to Broadbeach or North to Southport are 3 or 4 minutes walk from the hotel. Excellent.

Nothing to dislike. just a couple of minor comments. Maybe a bread knife and board would be handy. Your desk supplied us with a bread knife within 5 minutes or less of us enquiring for one. We are agile eighty-one year olds but my wife did find the entry to the shower a bit daunting. But the upside of this is that for safety reasons I was able to convince her that we should shower together. Certainly a bonus for myself.
