Staff are friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was really good. There’s a little cafe bar that sells food and has a kid’s menu. There’s a/c in the rooms and the windows are good at keeping out noise from the street. We had a child’s bed in the room at no extra cost, we just needed to ask on arrival and they brought it up a while later. There’s a room service menu, no deserts but you can buy chocolate bars at the cafe.

We booked weeks in advance but still didn’t manage to get ourselves a sea view room. The view was nice enough though, of Regency Square and the 360 ride. Check in was strictly 4pm which led to big queues at that time. No chance of early check in but they do have a luggage drop service. The photos of the lobby and outside seating on their website are a bit misleading. There’s only one restaurant and it’s very limited for space, inside, lobby level and a bit basic. But the staff were amazing and made up for it.

The reception desk was well staffed. The staff were friendly and polite likewise the other guests. The rooms and throughout the hotel was clean and well presented. The buffet breakfast was extremely satisfying and there was a very good selection of hot and cold breakfast choices.. I loved the location as its opposite the beach and close to all the attractions.. and a short walk to the High Street shops etc I would recommend this hotel and stay there again.

The evening meal set menu was somewhat limited and "Some meals" were not available on the menu or they ran out.. HOWEVER with no questions or fuss! the staff did offer the opportunity to select from the main menu to compensate me and other guests. This was appreciated.. I stayed there from Christmas eve for 3 nights 2024 but there was no Christmas roast but again that wasn't too bad really. I was in room 314 the external windows were not absolutely clean on the outside which somewhat spoiled a clear view of the beach BUT as I guess it would cost a fortune to keep cleaning the windows in a hotel of that size also given the bashing from sea salt etc. The glazing inside was clean however and the room had a side view of the sea view ... very nice..

It’s close to the beach, so location is good. The room was nice. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast was good. Friendly staff.

The room only had a shower, not a bath. The restaurant was a bit chaotic for breakfast, lots of used cups and plates etc piled up on the bar waiting to be washed, I appreciate that this is obviously so as to clear and re set tables quickly but not nice to look at whilst you’re eating your breakfast. Makes it look very messy. Also I think the layout for the restaurant could be better by separating the hot and cold breakfast options, it was just one long queue. People queuing for cooked breakfast, and some just for a yoghurt and fruit. Also when we were in the bar, the toilets near the bar area weren’t accessible due to the door not working when you put the key card in, so had to keep returning to room to use the toilet.

Staff were excellent especially Dev who served us dinner, sorted a squeaky door in our room and was generally lovely. Very obliging. Desk staff welcoming. Excellent location with convenient parking

The fact that the heating wasn't working throughout the hotel. Bedroom was ok as small heater provided which was more than adequate however communal areas (dining room and breakfast room) were draughty and cold. Heaters were on but nowhere near efficient enough for the areas. Stairwell to use as alternative to lift to rooms wasn't most pleasant to use. My daughter doesn't like lifts and will often use stairs and meet us but she wasn't happy to do so there. I went down with her once and it felt like a wind tunnel at one point. Felt like it was a fire escape not a staircase to use regularly

The property was very central in Brighton. The decor was very modern and clean. Fantastic room for breakfast and lots of choice. Food was excellent in breakfast bar. Great value for money. Great it had its own underground carpark - fee payable at reception desk, but much cheaper then parking on the roads. Amy, staff member was very happy and couldn’t do enough for us. She worked the breakfast room and reception area - many thanks Amy. Room was spotless and great power shower.

Underground car park was full early evening so tight to get into space with MPV car. Pillows were very hard on the bed.

The staff were lovely and welcoming. Happy to help and not too intrusive. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with lots of choice. The room was clean and the bathroom had great amenities plus plenty of towels.

The bed was uncomfortable and hard, the desk chair was uncomfortable and hard, the "comfy" chair was uncomfortable and hard. Noise from other rooms was quite loud in the bathroom, could hear someone else's conversation and consistent tapping/banging. Was glad to not hear it in the bedroom as would've disrupted the little sleep we had due to the uncomfortable bed. Also, as a lot of work was going on at the hotel, the secure door to the car park was left propped open which was not very secure.

The location was spot on, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. It had more or less everything that I expected. The chap on reception was really lovely (so sorry, I forgot his name, Rayone maybe) he was very polite and helpful, sorted out heating woes and explained that I could park in the car park for no extra cost (unbeknownst to me previously). Breakfast was delicious - with surprisingly good coffee!

I rang to see if could book in early, I couldn’t which was fine, but I asked if I could park early - the lady hung up on me - so parked elsewhere whilst I waited to book in. This cost me an extra £17 - when I got to the hotel I was told that I could have parked early and that this was included in my room rate (this was not explained at booking 😕) The heating didn’t work (but we were given a heater as per above). Also, I asked for 2 single beds as I was travelling with my son . We did have to share a bed - it was huge, so fine - but not ideal.

I was very impressed initially with the hotel, got the partial sea view out of my window. The room was comfortably big enough for me and my two children. I was impressed by the two water bottles in the fridge and two cans of 7up, which didn't come with the extra charge. My children were happy. The breakfast was great, had everything we wanted, even had fresh melon and watermelon slices. I found a bathrobe and packed slippers in the wardrobe, which were very useful.

As there were three of us, we were expecting the sofa bed to be made made up, but it wasn't. There were also no third mug and no third bath towel. We had to ask twice at the Reception about it. Eventually someone came in the evening to make up the sofa bed. The third mug has never appeared.

Gosia the Manager at the front desk was very kind and helpful when I asked if I could check in early she phoned up one of Cleaning staff and they said it was ready and no charge will be incurred. Rafa dealing with food orders was very polite and courteous,I asked for a certain dish which is said is not available but he checked with Chef and he agreed to make up the dish it was a Katsu chicken with rice veg a etc very nice and good value ,I would say for £15.95. I did asked for a take away coffee advertised as a Starbucks coffee flat white,Unfortunately I tried the coffee when I left the hotel to drive home,it wasn't very nice I didn't taste the coffee it like hot milk,Rafa made the coffee I don't know why he made the coffee that way,a nice young man shook my had when I was leaving and asked my name U don't know if he has been trained how to make the difference coffees advertised.

I think the hotel was OK but needs updating ,I needed my mobile charged I had the lead but needed a plug.Most modern hotels don't have the plug socket but have the connectio where you can put the charger lead in without plugging in.

Location was perfect for all facilities that we needed. Room a good size with a very comfortable bed. Staff kept it very clean so no problems at all with housekeeping. Breakfast was superb - very tasty , hot and all options catered for, All the staff were excellent - friendly and helpful Nothing too much trouble. A special thank you must go to Gosha on reception ( and other things ! ) who excelled in every way possible. She sorted out our room when we got there and was helpful in every way. She is a true asset to Holiday Inn.
