brand new hotel good price nice staff

checkin: no flexibility at all, all the guests have to wait till 3 pm. Unbelievably long queue in the lobby at 3 pm and it took over 20 min simply for checkin.

I LOVED the main entry - it is stunning! It smells like a day spa and the reception area didn't disappoint either. It is beautifully bright and open with the most amazing view of the harbour! If the weather is nice, there are plenty of benches to relax outside to read a book or just catch up with friends/family. The room was a perfect size and bed was super comfortable and large. I didn't know quite what to expect as the description of the room was 'chair type' - but I was more than pleased. The room was pretty much a normal room size, but the washing basin was outside the bathroom, but I didn't mind that. The room has a very large window which made it feel even bigger and it was very quiet. I had a view of the city which was lovely. Bonus: the hotel has a coin laundry which I thought was a plus rather than having to use the hotel laundry service. Minatomari Station is a quick 5 minute walk and pretty much takes you wherever you would like to go. Yokohama harbour is also very beautiful and I would recommend going to the Red Brick building there. It has some great shops and lots of food choices. I didn't think it would be any good, but I was wrong. The area surrounding the hotel is SUPER quiet, quaint and I felt really safe traveling solo as a female. If you want to go into Tokyo, it's only maybe a 30 minute train ride. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be coming back if in Yokohama again.

The only downfall would be the lack of drawers for your clothing. However, plenty of hanging space.

I didn't realise this was newly built. The location was great, my friend and I got to see parts of yokohama we never saw before. The staff were nice and very helpful. The view was stunning. Although it can get windy. We saw lots of young couples staying there. Everything in the room was easy to use and understand, and everything kept very clean. Our room had the exact same view as the lobby area with the waterfront. We are definitely coming back to stay here from now on.

The only thing I didn't like were the pillows. They were too soft. When I used two, it hurt my neck. They don't have firmer higher pillows. So I had to go and get myself a new pillow. I was waking up with headaches and neck pains.

New, clean, great location and great city view from the room! Staff we're friendly, and the restaurant was also great for lunch.

The pool isn't really a pool.. we were very disappointment . It's more like a water feature, with 50cm depth (below the knee). Made especially for people to take their IG photos as if they're enjoying great time at the swimming pool, but the truth is - this is not a swimming pool. Also - they only open it from 15:00! All of the information is written on their website, true. But when a hotel shows off with pushing photos of 2 rooftop swimming pools, you don't read ALL the information about the water depth, as you expect to visit a hotel with actual swimming pools that you will actually be able to enjoy them, and this is far from truth.

The room was clean, quiet, and offered a splendid harbor view. We appreciated the useful room controlling system and air purifier provided. The hotel's service was excellent - we requested an iron at the last minute, and it was already placed in our room before we checked in. Breakfast was nice with plenty of choices, although the menu repeated daily.

We experienced some issues with noisy guests, particularly in the elevator, where we occasionally felt offended by their words. We suggest that the hotel should strive to maintain a quiet environment in common areas such as the elevator and lobby.

What did I like? Everything! The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was spotless and I loved the rain showerhead. The view was AMAZING, we got some really nice pictures of Mt Fuji during sunset. It was decently close to the train station too which was nice. The staff were super friendly, the breakfast buffet was delicious, the balcony on the lobby floor was spectacular. honestly I've never been in a nicer hotel and the price was SUPER reasonable! One tip though, I did not realize that they leave a little doorknob sign for guests staying two nights or more that tells the cleaning staff they can just do the bare minimum when cleaning. I did not expect them to come clean the room after only sleeping in there one night and I was so excited to sightsee that I just left my pajamas strewn on the bed without a care in the world. I felt so bad when I came back and the bed was made and my pajamas had been folded and placed neatly on the bed! It was so sweet but I felt so bad for making them tidy up after me >.< Sorry about that! But anyways, overall I had an amazing experience and if I'm ever in Yokohama again I will definitely book a room here ☺️

Outdoor area attached to the Hotel front area. They store our suitcases even a day before our arrival and while we were out during our stay.

This is a stunning, relatively new hotel in the Minato Mirai district. The lobby, pool and restaurant are all on the 20th floor with amazing views. The pool area was spotless and well staffed, as were all public areas. There is a sense of calm luxury that starts from the relaxing aroma in the lift lobbies on the ground and first floors. We had a corner room (2251) and were incredibly lucky to be able to see Mt Fuji one morning (a highlight as it had been elusive up to this point). Housekeeping was meticulous. This was well worth the money we paid for it and we were very impressed with everything. Nice and close to Landmark Tower where there were many reasonable places to eat.

We got a bit lost most times we headed from the subway to the hotel but that is more about the complexity of the many exits at Landmark Tower and Queens Square

Enjoyed our stay at Mitsui Gardens Hotel Minatomirai Premier Yokohama. Beautiful views from the reception lounge and from our room. Room was spacious for a Japanese hotel. We chose a room with a washing machine and microwave, the layout was functional, bed was comfortable and enough room for our two suitcases. The staff were excellent and the facilities are beautiful. The location is only a 10 minute easy walk from Minatomirai train station, 5 minutes to Landmark tower and 10 minutes to the Ferris Wheel and cable cars, and Sakuragicho station where you get the tourist bus from. Lots of shopping centres with restaurants close by. We would stay here again.

Room needed more hooks to hang clothes when showering in the wet room. There are only two outside the door for towels. There was no washing powder with the washing machine, given we booked a room with a washing machine it would have been helpful to have some small sachets available either for purchase or included in those rooms.

New hotel. VERY CLEAN! Everything any one would need for an extended stay. Could have used more square footage. Staff was wonderful. Loads of amenities. Will definitely stay here again. MITSUI is a wonderful conpany.

My wife and I went to the lobby bar. She wated a glass of wine. I do not drink. When I told the staff I did not want anything, they told me I could not stay there if I did not order. TERRIBLE policy. At checkout I told the MITSUI staff of our displeasure. They told me they would correct the problem for the future (I did not believe them). The bar is not owned by MITSUI. Of course my wife did not buy the wine and we walked out. There is ZERO inconvenience for the bar staff to permit to sit there without purchasing a beverage. The bar is located in the LOBBY of the hotel, and part of the lobby without walls. With setas all around.
