I liked this place very much and would definitely choose it again. The location is GREAT. Though the bathroom was shared, it was always very clean and we never had any problem with it being shared. Great douche, hair dryer, toiletries. Though we never cooked at the guesthouse, but it had everything needed for making some food. It had a small terrace and it was such a pleasure to have quiet very early breakfasts there or to have a glass of wine at night. The guesthouse had everything not to feel discomfort for not being at home. There is a great seafood restaurant at the first floor of the guesthouse. They serve excellent dishes and we had our first dinner in Lisbon there. We were impressed :)

The area is a little bit noisy and people are motley. People do not sleep here until 2-3 am . They talk a lot and very loudly. Not sure if there is any quiet time order in Lisbon, but as far as i saw they do not have or do not keep that order. It's difficult to sleep sometimes with an open window, you have to close it and turn on the fan. To be honest i had some cultural shock when we first arrived. But this is Lisbon and very different people of different nationalities live here. We got used to it very quickly :)

We loved the rooftop terrace, always had dinner there. Also the room was cosy, one could say small, but we managed for a short stay. The accommodation felt very safe, which I find quite important. I would definitely come again.

It would be easier to find it, if the door would have the accommodations name, but if you go by the house number, it is quite easy to find anyway. The only problem is, that the room (at least ours) has no air conditioning, you only get a fan, and considering there was only a roof window, it was hard to keep cool. But other that it was a wonderful stay.

Stayed over the weekend (Fri-Sun). The place was very clean even though it was weekend. It was quiet inside, a bit loud outside on Saturday, but closing the window would help a lot ( I recommend you to have ear plugs just in case). Towels were provided for free, which is nice also shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom. Nice small kitchen, everything you need to cook there or just heat something and go. Fabulous location, just 3 min waking from Rossio metro station. Like most building in lisbon, this one is old, but nicely refurbished ( not a 5 star hotel) but really nice and also great price per night.

Only the pillow was a bit lacking but it's not something to complain about taking in consideration the price

- Absolutely excellent location, close to the underground and buses, close to the tourist attractions, close to the Alfama. It might not be room with the view but we were not worried that it will be difficult to get back to the hostel after Fado nights as it was just short walking distance. - I remember when I was booking the room, I read some negative comments about noise in the night. Well, if you book room in the middle of old Lisbon be prepared that city never sleeps and it might wake you up few times in the night. If you want quiet neighbourhood then you might want to stay somewhere far away from Bairro Alto and Alfama or bring earplugs ;) In my opinion fantastic location is worth sacrifice ;) - Hostel is also situated in authentic old building with lovely Azulejos downstairs - Lovely terrace and kitchen, well equipped - had everything we needed to prepare meals. - Room is not huge but what else do you need when you come on sightseeing trip? :) - Room and bathroom were nice and clean - Staff was super friendly, we often had a little chat and laugh in the morning :) - Some small shops nearby, open until quite late (good to grab something to drink after long sightseeing day) as well as few amazing restaurants around (especially recommend Sherma Mo Mo)

I would add a small table into the room if possible (even instead of armchair) as bedside tables were not enough to keep all the cosmetics on them etc. But that's not even a negative - just little suggestion :)

Rooms were clean, tidy and well equipped. Location ideal! Staff were friendly. Kitchen and terrace were outstanding - quiet and organised. Nice to get some sun on the terrace without leaving the house. Bathrooms so clean.

Light at the front door would’ve been helpful, very dark trying to navigate the stairwell. Pillows slightly uncomfy and small. We had a room with no window but a window in the ceiling, we just got unlucky as it rained during our stay so we couldn’t leave open at any point so became stuffy - I’m sure this wouldn’t be an issue in sunny Lisbon most of the time!

The place was really comfortable and cozy. The room was super clean and the common toilets too (we arrived in the late evening and they were super comfy). Zero noisy during the night (maybe thanks to quiet neighbors). Check in is automatic if you arrive late, and check out is very flexible. If you need to keep your luggages after checkout you need to pay (maybe 1€/h). Definitely coming back again if in Lisbon.

Aside from the steep hill leading to the property, it was well located close to two metro stations on the verde line. I also liked having a balcony which helped keep the room cool and comfortable with the window open overnight.

I stayed for a week and in that time I’ve not had the sheets changed in my room once. It also smelled a bit stuffy in the room when I arrived. Leaving the window open all day helped clear that out though, so that’s just a minor complaint.

Excellent location. Very easy to walk around and find something good to eat, check out the sites, get on the metro. Be prepared for hills, but I left the trip in better shape! Room was comfortable and just enough space for 2 and our backpacks. There were enough shared bathroom facilities that we never had to wait. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The shared kitchen area is really organized.

The only drawbacks are the room can get quite hot and leaving the windows open to the street below is a little loud. Would recommend earplugs for sure. Quiet hours inside the building start at 6, so not the easiest place to hang out in a common area and meet other travelers, but we weren't 'home' that much during our stay anyway.

Great Central location. Decent size room with windows. Well equipped guest kitchen. Nice little roof terrace.

Needs more bathrooms for the number of bedrooms. Quite noisy with windows open but not so bad with windows & shutters closed and fan on.

The location is really nice, close to the main attractions. The building is clean and you see the employees taking care of it all the time. Check-in was very easy.

The bed was uncomfortable. The kitchen is small, two people cooking there at the same time can be a little complicated. It's a noisy area and the walls are very thin, so you'll hear conversations and noises all day.
