We had an exceptional time at Casinha das Flores and we would be happy to return. The location is perfect: 3 minutes by foot to Baixa/Chiado Metro station, and 5 minutes by foot down to the waterfront or Pink Street. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars around. Breakfast is indeed out of this world: a wide selection and how tasty everything was. The place itself is not too big, lending a homey feeling. It is so carefully decorated - evey corner has a new surprise. Staff is very welcoming. Our room was spacious with plenty of storage space, bathroom is modern and clean with excellent warm water at all times.

These are not so much things that we did not like, but rather things for future guests to be aware of: The place has no elevator. Rooms are at the 1st floor so you would have to carry your luggage 1 floor up. The reception is not at the hotel itself but at a sister-hotel around the corner - 2 minutes by foot.

A very special place with real personality in decor and friendliness. Did not know what to expect but this was a very memorable stay. Our spacious and spotless room, the friendliness, the very special decoration in an old but newly refurbished residential home, the breakfast, the location. I am a seasoned traveller, but this place created a lasting memory for us. Don´t know the other rooms, but I highly recommend this place.

Actually there is nothing to complain really. However, you are in the center of city action, you hear voices and some noise from outside and occasionally from inside the place. However, that was the only aspect for being picky. We loved this place immediatlly and that has not changed until departure.

- The property is situated at a great spot, close to the metro and the historical tram. The surrounding area is pretty and relatively calm. - The hotel room is pretty, well designed, and spacious. It had a unique and colourful style. The hotel smelled really nice. - The complementary breakfast was delicious. - The check-in/out process was easy. - The bed was comfortable. The shower was spacious enough to make you feel like you're having a spa day.

- The WIFI signal could have been stronger. - Since the property is in an historical building, we kept hearing our neighbours and outside noises. - However, overall it was a great stay. I would come back here again.

This property has been renovated since these photos were taken! It far exceeded expectations. I’m an avid traveler and this hotel has been my favorite stay so far!!!!! Gorgeous, detailed charming decor and incredible staff. They treat you like royalty. Comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, so many areas to relax in, central area. Everything was perfect. I think I took a 100 pics because everything felt like Alice in Wonderland. I had a health crisis while staying here and the staff was attentive, helpful, checked on me and made me feel safe and cared for. I was traveling alone and I am forever grateful to them. I can’t recommend this hotel enough!!!!

No elevator

Lets start with our pickup that was arranged by the property, Bruno was an absolute gem of a man. He picked us up at baggage claim, helped with our bags and proceeded to give us a full on car tour as we drove to the hotel. He took a different route on the way back to the airport, when we were leaving, just to show us and tell us about more stuff! We LOVED him! The hotel staff, particularly Ricardo, were also super friendly and helpful. The building we were staying in was absolutely beautiful. There were flowers, art and sculptures everywhere yet at the same time the space was very modernized and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was incredible. They basically open up the whole 2nd floor and have a buffet spread out in the space. There are multiple, very cozy and well decorated rooms you can settle into. There was even a live dude playing the piano. Seriously one of the most well thought out breakfasts I have ever had.

We stayed only one night at Casinha das Flores but oh my we wished we could stay for so much longer. The decoration of the hotel transport you back in time, along with its beautiful scent. Our room was spacious and clean, and so so cozy. Breakfast was amazing. The staff were so friendly. I honestly cannot believe the quality of service and the room for the price that we’ve paid, and not forgetting how central the location is. We will definitely be back very soon.

Cannot fault a single thing.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon! The front desk staff welcomed us warmly and were very helpful with the luggage. Their excellent English made communication easy. The hotel is in a great location, quiet yet central. The room was peaceful, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious, too. Overall, an exceptional experience, and I highly recommend it!

WOW the decor was absolutely incredible! The breakfast was the best I have ever had at a hotel - everything was so adorable and delicious. Loved the deck area too. When we checked in "breakfast will be ready when you hear the piano playing" was so romantic and such a nice touch.

The room was quite small but it worked out because the "social rooms" were a plenty. Would love to have a little bar option in this part of the hotel.

It is a really beautiful place, amazingly decorated, it is more like being in a palace or a rich XIX century bourgeoisie house. Not for people who like minimalism but I absolutely loved it! The staff was very nice and helpful and breakfast was delicious.

The only thing I can mention that the room was small.

It is like staying in an old Portuguese palace with a lot of deco and antique put together to create a nice atmosphere in a unique layout. Breakfast is amazing: great choices savoury and sweet with local specialities, lovely different rooms like if it was in a flat to seat and piano played in the background by a pianist. Our room was lovely decorated and overlooking the little outdoor space so very quiet.
