The hotel has an excellent location - the nearest metro station is 5 min on foot, the stop of the famous "historic" tram 28 is 3 min on foot, Cais do Sodré railway station is 10 min on foot. There are many cafes and restaurants around, you will not have problems finding a place for dinner. There is a small minimarket right opposite the entrance where you can always buy water, snacks, fruit, wine or prosecco. We had a room with windows facing the courtyard; in the morning there was no noise from the street or the tram (the tram line runs right under the facade of the building). The room is too small for a 4* hotel, on the other hand there is a spacious bathroom and separate toilet. Room cleaning was good, good quality towels, but there were not enough toiletries - for example, body lotion and dental kit (for a 4* hotel this is not such a big expense!)

The biggest inconvenience of the room is the ill-conceived lighting system, especially the bedside lamps - the light shines directly into the eyes. Also disappointing were the uncomfortable pillows - I had neck pain in the mornings. On the morning of our departure there was no hot water in the room! At 7 am, barely warm water flowed from the tap, it was impossible to take a shower, the water only became really hot at 8.30 am, when it was time for us to go to the airport. It is a shame for a 4* hotel not to provide its guests with hot water. The breakfasts were quite varied and tasty, but don't try to eat scrambled eggs - I got severe food poisoning from it.

The room was very large, spacious and well laid out. Had everything in there that we needed, such as a little fridge, coffee, tea, etc. Room lights and decor were cosy. Very clean and very quiet for such a central location. Location was great! So easy to walk to and from main attractions, sights, cafes, shops etc. Trams and metros very close too. So easy to get to and from the airport without expensive taxis. The staff were friendly and helpful. Didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on the food. Check out the vegan nata shop on the same street whilst you're here, it'd amazing and so so tasty! We had one every morning on route to our daily exploring. Be sure to check out baixa chiado metro square every night. It's a 2 min walk from hotel and always has something going on like people playing music and performing. Had the best time.

It is pet friendly and provides some dog supplies (both dog water and good bowl is a plus, dog blanket and a dog snack), bathroom color was very nice and functional (curtain at shower on top of the glass box avoids us feeling cold in the shower, WC separated from shower is very nice, good shower), good breakfast and friendly / helpful staff

Lightning in the room could be improved (more light in the bathroom, more indirect light in the hall from the bed to the bathroom), small to place luggage.

This would be a good hotel if you like clinical and dark. The stay was perfectly fine, but the room was very dark without lights and I almost walked into the glass bathroom several times.

The air conditioning noise was awful and woke me up - screeching. Need night lights to navigate around the rooms at night or to at least find the light switches.

Wet floors after cleaning like there passed Amazon river. Not clean after daily cleaning. Moreover, we can skip this if slippers would be provided. But no, it was not available within 4 stars hotel. Breakfast is average. Coffee machine works not very proper in the room number 401 please check. Sockets are hidden. Difficult to realize location))

-Friendly and welcoming staff at reception, breakfast service and housekeeping; -Location: you are literally where you need to be for theatres, cafes, shops, restaurants, bars, etc; -Room: spacious, free water and coffee pods, comfortable bed and an array of pillows to choose from; -Very pet friendly: no extra pet fee, got a blanket and food/water bowls ready in our room. Huge plus!

There is only one lift to serve the entire building - approximately 50 rooms but we didn’t have to wait too long.

Stayed just one night on a return from the Algarve preparing for a morning flight. The hotel is in a great location for Barrio Alto and Alfama, shops restaurants etc. The design is very cool and the lobby has espresso and water etc. in a nice little lounge. The rooftop bar was closed as it was Sunday. Our room was on a lower floor and a bit dark and on the smaller side. The terrace was an odd little concrete space halfway below ground looking at nothing... all this was fine for a single night stay when we weren't there much anyway! It was a good find last minute for under $200E

I booked this hotel for a couple of nights on February '23 and it was a marvelous stay. The entire staff was so friendly, attentive, and very informative. I celebrated my birthday here in Lisboa and the hotel was kind enough to provide me with a free bottle of wine. The room was ample and modern with a very comfortable bed. The location was conveniently close to everything: the metro, shopping centers, restaurants, tourist attractions, and the wonderful nightlife Lisboa has to offer. I'm looking forward to staying here again when I get another chance to visit this picturesque city. Muito obrigado por tudo!

Everything met my expectations.

Lovely location in a vibrant area close to lots of small cozy bars and diverse restaurants. Good travel links and close walk to the sights. Bijoux hotel. Friendly, welcoming and helpful. A gem. Great rooms, air conditioned, large windows with black out curtains. Quiet and really comfortable.

It is a pet friendly hotel. And the breakfast.

The staff in the breakfast area did not want to allow my Service Dog. Why allow dogs in the hotel if they are unable to be with there owners throughout the facility.
