You have 4 train 5 min walk away at your disposal to go anywhere directly Straight shot to and from the airport, if you choose the right line

Hummmmm i guess the only thing would be maybe second washer dryer per washer floor room Hummm also the pajama set was generic white. They should have more branded pajamas with the panda embroidered... I would have totally bought a set

Location is ideal for Ueno transport hub. Please note that if you are using the JR Line Narita Express as you have a JR Railpass, it does not have a pickup in Ueno. Instead you use the Kensei Line Narita Skyliner train which is not covered under the JR railpass. Panda theme floors are cute if you like that sort of thing.

It only has 2 lifts, so during busy times, you may wait a little. Breakfast was pretty basic so there are better options in the station.

Every time I have to go to Tokyo, I choose this hotel. I stay for 5th time. It near the train station and shopping center such as Ameyoko market. The room is bigger than other hotel in the same rate. Can automatic check in and check out. The staff is very pretty and smile for me every day I come back or out. Very good.

We booked a superior twin room which turned out to be very nice. It was on the fourteenth floor with a nice view of Ueno Station and the new freeway. The bathroom was larger than normal, the beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the large room (lots of space for our luggage and ourselves!). We usually stay at this hotel when we are in Tokyo and this room was the best so far! Out the lobby door, to your left a few feet is a very convenient entrance to the subway. This hotel is very conveniently located near transportation facilities and shopping areas.

The breakfast area is also an Italian restaurant in the evening. On previous trips the breakfast buffet was geared more towards a traditional Japanese breakfast, which we enjoyed and looked forward to since we don't live in Japan. We were disappointed because this time we discovered they had changed towards a more Italian style. It was still a good breakfast, just not what we were looking forward to.

Excellent location within a few minutes walk from Ueno station, plus an elevator to connect to subway for travelers with baggage or wheelchair users. Bed and pillow are of good quality. Bathroom is bigger than other standard hotels. Lots of restaurants nearby. Coin laundry is at 2nd floor.

No seating area for guests at the lobby at all. Since it is right on the main road, it is very noisy at night.

Location in just right beside Ueno station on Iriya gate, close to shops, restaurants and shopping mall. Staff were friendly and helpful with the check-in process.

The elevator on the way towards the Iriya gate of Ueno station could be unavailable/switch off, it happened to me when I checked out from the hotel and walked back to the station I had to carry those heavy suitcases through the stairs which was not fun at all but I know it is not the hotel fault anyway. I just hope the hotel can point this issue to their local government who manage the station facilities or IF there was any other way to get to the station from the hotel which have elevator/escalator facility that the hotel staff can inform the guests, it would be much better.

The best part of this property was the location! I only stayed here and used it as my home base to explore all of Tokyo. It’s walking distance to the Ginza, Hibiya, and Yamanote lines so it’s super easy to get to any part of Tokyo from here. Also the staff is super friendly and helpful, no need to be nervous if you don’t speak Japanese, they know enough to help with almost any request. One of the desk attendants even called and booked a dinner reservation at a fancy steakhouse I wanted to eat at. Rooms were clean and well maintained no complaints there. The rooms were also a decent size for Japanese hotels. There’s a nice Italian restaurant in the lobby, but I never ate there so I can’t say anything about that.

My only small complaint would be the elevators, there’s only two elevator shafts so if it’s busy you could be waiting a little bit for an elevator. It was not a big deal, just something I noticed.

Great position right in front of Ueno station. Plenty of places to eat nearby. The room was quite big compared to other Japanese business hotels. The check-in was smooth with friendly staff.

1) Expensive for the overall quality, in particular I did not appreciate that the breakfast was not included, for the price paid I think it could be offered. 2) The soundproofing was far from perfect. I could hear children crying and Chinese people talking loud from nearby rooms. 3) The bathroom was clean but not very new.

It is a stone's throw away for Ueno station, the Keisei line will drop you from Narita International Airport to Ueno. If you like walking, Asakusa, Sumida river and the Sensoji temple are close enough. If you do not, you can use the train. Ueno Park, zoo, and Ameyoko shopping district are close. The room is squeaky clean, compact and well-maintained. It is an extremely small room but the location, courtesy of the staff made up for it. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash are available in the bathroom. A common area houses dental kits, shaving kits etc so that you can pick what you need on your way to the room. We were provided with an iron and an ironing board on request. The check-in and check-out process were quick and seamless. The staff were very courteous, helpful and easy to speak to.

The size of the room was a concern for us. We had two suitcases and not enough space to lay them flat to open them. There is barely any room to unpack, you literally have to live off a suitcase. Not that I didn't like it but it was a little strange - bathroom doors open out and not in! All my life I have been used to pushing a bathroom door to get in but it was the other way around here.

Loved the location! It was about a 3 minute walk from the station with a pedestrian bridge over the roadway, which was really nice for getting around. The room itself was sizable for a Tokyo hotel, with enough room for 4 suitcases (two large and two carry on) provided we kept everything tucked away and only opened them when we needed to.

I wish there had been a few more vending machine options, one night I went to all three floors that had them and all of the machines were out of water. Luckily there’s a Family Mart on the corner across the street so I was able to go there, but I wish that there had been at least one or two more machines to keep up. All in all that’s a minor gripe, though, and everything else was perfect.
