The view from my first apartment was great. One or two of the staff particularly were fantastic. Security at the gates were always lovely. I loved the kitchen and the le creuset cutlery was divine. The cleaning service was immaculate. Aircon worked. Hand and body wash smelt nice.
The coffee machine wasn’t very good coffee. And it leaked water. There was building going on next door that I wasnt told about so men were constantly walking past the doors so I wasn’t really able to sit outside in peace. And it was just a bit noisy in terms of being able to hear every thing happening in the hallway.

We upgraded our room, which meant we had a room looking onto the golf course / mountains and it was stunning. The room was gorgeous too, pool towels provided in the room. Fully kitted out kitchen. It was a perfect stay for my birthday. Amazing to see how on top of the gardening they are, upkeep is everyday. The food in the restaurants was also spectacular. The tapas style menu was so nice and the wine tasting was so insightful everyone is really helpful.
Nothing I can think of.

The setting and Kleine Zalze on the whole. Beautiful pool and trees where we had breakfast
Our room didn't have a view as the best ones do. It wasn't very private as it was the first room and other guests were often passing. I was under the impression that all rooms were the same standard and price. At reception, I was told that we were in the unit called Pinotage. When we got there we found that Pinotage consisted of a few rooms. We found Pinotage 4 open and went in. It was spacious with a balcony and grea tviews. My girlfriend was super impressed with her Valentines surprise. As my girlfriend and I lay on the bed cuddling, some guests walked in. How embarrassing. I suggested that reception tells guests clearly that there are a few rooms and that the number is on the back of the key. I know that I should've contacted reception to make sure

Professional and efficient hospitality team. The golf carts to the restaurant and Golf Clubhouse were highly convenient. The mountain views are breathtaking, the Kleine Zalze wine selection exceptional, and the swimming pool truly outstanding.
The air conditioning was noisy and somewhat challenging to operate. Breakfast options could be enhanced to provide greater variety for guests staying multiple days. However, the filter coffee was exceptional!

The location was excellent. It was near the main area of Stellenbosch, where you could get all the great restuarants. And of course the fact that it was in the middle of a wine yard was also really convenient. The staff was excellent, and I thought the rooms were very comfortable for the family.
Couldn't really think of anything. If I had to nitpick, I would say that the breakfast options were average.

The room was excellent, very clean and comfortable. Food in the golf club was excellent. Everything on the site was "class" beautiful place, well kept and all staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly.
We spent some time by the pool and I would have enjoyed a better pool service for drinks etc. They were limited to the drinks they could provide and also I would have been happier if they would have come to ask more often.

I did not do breakfast, only because of the weather we had, it was pouring down and I just wanted to get to work. The kitchen staff was so sweet, they filled by coffee mug with the best coffee. The room was absolutely wonderful, much more than I expected. The comfy couch and the bed was wonderful. Was wonderful to step in a warm room, while it was very cold outside. Because of the weather I was not able to enjoy the view much.
Maybe just a bit more milk for the coffee.

The little houses with the guests‘ rooms that are named after wines we’re really nicely decorated. We had an exceptionally nice Mountain View from the windows! The pool and the surroundings are also calming and well groomed. Breakfast also turned out to be a highlight for us!
Everything was perfect, however we were surprised by being offered an included wine tasting at the evening of the checkout. Sadly, as we did not know about that earlier, we were not able to join that. Would have been great to know about that in advance.

The most beautiful estate to stay in if you love wine and golf,Beautiful walks and scenery, Breakfast was amazing and so were the staff. joined to the wine estate is the golf estate where the golf club restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and is affordable and really good. There are many seating areas to sit in winter next to cosy fires and lovely outside areas to eat in summer with spectacular views over the golf course, the wine tasting is amazing and they serve Italian crackers with your tasting , you can also order a cheese or meat platter which is very tasty. I would highly recommend this lodge. staff are very friendly too and access to Stellanbosh is a 10 min drive and about R85 in an uber
They give you 2 bottles of water to welcome you in the fridge but seeing as its 5 star I do think they should replace every day as we stayed there for 4 nights. Also a Nespresso machine in the rooms would be fantastic. They need to check if people need drinks by the pool more often, we were left for 1.5 hours with no-one checking. The Dstv box is on top of the tv in the room and looks very messy for a 5 star it needs to be neatened up.

Lovely spacious rooms. Very friendly staff who were all polite and willing to assist. Comfortable bed and pillows. Grateful for the bottled water in the rooms and a basic, but very adequate, tea / coffee station in the room. Lovely breakfast area with views over the gorgeous garden and golf course.
Would have been a bonus to have a restaurant open at night so we didn't have to leave the property for dinner.
