Safe location (church, affordable eateries and minimarket a hop away). Train staions nearby and a mall 20 mins walk away (can bus for 6hkpp or taxi for 35hk to the mall) . V Friendly staff who are calm under pressure. Shuttle bus to airport handy as taxis only fit 4 and only 2 suitcases - the shuttle fits heaps of luggage and people (make booking). Clean spacious rooms, great hot water pressure and good beds. Cheeful Christmas decorations. Buzzing atmosphere. Always taxis out the front. Great stay for families! More affordable than competitor hotels. Our room had a river view including Christmas lights on the bridge!

Bathrooms could be modernized. The hotel cafe opening times on website are out of date. This does not bother us but some may want to know that it is an older hotel (slight wear and tear but clean) without a bellboy to bring luggage up.

Nice friendly staff from reception to concierge and even housekeeping. Big spacious rooms, has bathtub, nice smell of shower gel and shampoo, drinking water at an instant tap, daily room makeup, rare provision of Chinese teabags (pu ‘er and jasmine) which I like. and alarm will sound when door not close properly. Easy to reach via airport bus. Accessible to various part of HK via 2 nearby MTR stations.

We have booked a room for three perspns. When we checked in, the staff initiated to upgrade our two bed and one sofabed room to a four bed room. The room was very spacious. We were also allowed to stay in the same room in the next two days for our two person booking so we weren't required to check out and check in to another room. The location is very convenient. We could also catch an airport bus outside the hotel.

The carpet was a bit old showing the age of the hotel. There were no powerpoints next to our beds.

It's difficult to contact reception from the room. The landline phone has buttons for specific departments, but no one answers at reception. If someone does pick up at reception, you're in luck. Most of the time, I need to go down to reception if I need assistance.

The best: Room. I am not sure if it is the same for solo rooms though. I booked a twin room with 2 beds, and the rooms was freaking big!!! they clean the room everyday and there a bath tub. It smelled fresh and clean, bathroom is big, wifi is great~

The location is not quite near the venue of our conference so we had to ride the taxi and it was expensive. I wish there was a shuttle provided by the hotel maybe from hotel to the nearest MTR.

Great location, comfortable room for family, beds and pillows were excellent. Airport bus stop in front of the building and connection to Disneyland, Thing chung, HK island and other poitns of interest in HK. Restaurants and shops nearby.

For cold days the AC wasnt ok to heat the room, but later on weather was getting warmer and we were ok with AC.

Booking.com shows a cheaper price and explained that Booking.com paid SGD46 so I get this cheaper but upon Booking, I had to pay the full price without the SGD46 discount. Felt disappointed with Booking.com

I chose the Regal Riverside Hotel, because it closes to where I was going to visit, such as friends and relatives.

I believe it was the Chinese Lunar New Year, there were crowds everywhere including the hotel. Overall, I like the environment and the scene out of the front window. I will come back to stay again. Thank you.

The room was too small! There was no place to put our luggage bags. The towels were smelly. The photo of the room on the booking.com looked much bigger and spacious than the room we were allotted! The lounge did not have enough seats and waiting for our rooms was not too pleasant! Maybe provide a welcome drink while we wait would be good.

location - several metro stops to town centre and to the countryside (SaiKung) OR 20mins bus ride either way. Connected by Airport bus A41 (50 to 60 mins) <US$5 Fare. Hotel is in quiet residential area with local restaurants, laundry, grocers & supermarket.
