Staff in this hotel were wonderful very helpful great customer service the room was large with a great view breakfast was included and it was tasty

The location was not central. the Osaka train station was a 15 minute walk and there were a lot of shops and restaurants there. Shin Osaka was a six or seven minute cab ride. the longer we stayed the more shops we found actually behind the hotel but the main tourist areas were a 20 minute cab ride away. it is on I think a local train/bus route but we’re older so we took taxis everywhere Gym and indoor pool cost extra unless you were on the club level which I would advise as it’s not that much more expensive than the regular rooms

Great standard to f service and attention from staff. The view over Osaka from our room was magnificent. Receiving a newspaper every morning was a classy touch and we enjoyed reading the news and learning about Japan’s current affairs in this old fashioned way. Bess are very comfortable. The bathroom was a highlight- high-pressure shower and a low and comfortable bath tub. Perfect location for travel by train ad metro and for shopping.

Booking.com indicated that there was a swimming pool and a gym onsite, but did not say we would have to pay for using the pool and the gym. We were disappointed that we would not use them without paying extra.

The service was perfect. My husband misplaced his reading glasses at the Executive Lounge while we were there the first night after checking in. The hotel managed to trace it back to us and returned it. The toiletries smelt great. I loved the hotel because it was quiet. You don't get the usual noisy hotel crowd. No one spoke loudly. There were locals staying there as well.

The lounge had similar food items throughout the day. It would be wonderful to have some changes from day to day. The breakfast provided was also the same every day though we could choose between Western or Japanese. Would love to stay longer on my next trip if there was a wider food option.

The staff( my gosh, they were absolutely fabulous and so attentive, kind, and polite!), the facilities, the restaurants, and proximity to everything - it was faultless! I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing stay in Osaka!

This is very, very minor, but just be mindful that if you have any tattoos whatsoever( even if you keep them hidden) you are not allowed to use their fitness facilities. I have a tiny thin line on my wedding finger, instead of a wedding ring, and I was not allowed entrance to the gym, even though I volunteered to cover it with a plaster. They are open about allowing no tattoos at all, but I took that to mean no visible tattoos, which was my mistake. So, essentially, if you have tattoos, even if you are willing to keep them hidden, but want to be able to work out, this may not be the venue for you.

We really enjoyed our stay here in this 5 star hotel very much. We paid for a luxury superior room and it was worth it. The view was absolutely fantastic and the main reason for choosing this hotel. The room and rest of the hotel are also beautiful (enjoyed the shampoos and teas as well). (The interior didn’t seem “outdated” to us, maybe that is in the less “superior” rooms). The staff were very friendly. The location was good for sightseeing (near metro). Very happy we chose this hotel.

We loved everything. The breakfast was served as a menu. You can either choose Japanese or Western (served in different rooms) and we tried both. Nice atmosphere and they serve you at the table. It tasted good both of them. But we would have preferred a (small) buffet on the side, that way you could choose what you like and leave what you don’t like aside. On the other hand then the price of the hotel would be more, and for us the view and location was more important than having a breakfast buffet.

hotel room was incredibly spacious, lots of room to move around and not cramped at all. the hotel staff was incredibly helpful, assisting in our shopping bags all the way to the door

wished the club lounge food had... a variety of food from day to day instead of the same exact food every single day... if the toilet had a dimmer switch so we could still leave a night light on instead of full glaring light would be nice and if the rooms had a humidifier in winter would be excellent

The hotel is located in a quieter part of Umeda which I prefer but surprisingly is within short walking distance to the Osaka & Umeda train stations as well as the commercial area. Standard fares such as Family Mart and Starbucks are just by the hotel. There are a number of second-hand stores one street away. Great and reasonably-priced restaurants serving all kinds of authentic Japanese dishes are next door. Moreso, the rooms and especially the bathrooms are big -- total of about 40 sqm -- much bigger than the usual Japanese hotel. It comes with superb bathroom toiletries not usually offered by even other 5-star hotels and for the ladies, the room comes with a powerful hairdryer. A favorite amenity is their yukata or pajamas. Needless to say, staff hospitality and service is superb in the way that the Japanese are known for.

Hotel Hankyu International exceeded my expectations! The hotel is beautiful! So well maintained and thoroughly clean. Which is importtant to us because we are allergic to dusts. The hotel's style, structure, and deco are elegant and beautiful from bespoke era. The staff were professional and polite. I'll return again!

Only one stain in my perfect experience. One front desk employee (Mikimoto) didn't know her job but didn't want her colleagues to know that. While she fumbled totally in the dark, she wasted my time. Later, she approached us and without asking our permission, she sneaked a look into the info in our possession while trying to hide fron her team that she was incompetent. I don't mind untrained employees. Everybody needs to start somewhere. But, don't pretend to know your work while wasting your clients time. Ask for help and learn from your colleagues and supervisors! Most of all, Mikimoto's sneaky behavior was unpleasant to the recipients - us.

The view for this hotel is amazing it was so nice after a long day to just sit and watch the sun set and the trains underneath. The hotel is on top of a shopping complex that has restaurants which can be Handy when you don't want to Walk anywhere after a long day. The room size was good huge bathroom The staff were fantastic very helpful

The location was a bit further than expected although you can see the train station the entry is not as close as you would think.

We liked the centrality of the location, access to the train station is within 7 minutes walk. Besides we got a great view from Level 34, of the Osaka City. The staff ensured cleanliness and comfort through tidy housekeeping daily.

I really have no complaints~ really loved the stay, though it is a luxurious one so we should expect to pay more to enjoy their services and amenities. We didn't manage to try out their pool and restaurant. Renovations ongoing at the main entrance though.
