I have just spent two weeks in Japan and I have to say this was my favourite hotel. The location is excellent for the airport bus and for all of the major stations in Osaka. It’s connected directly to Umeda which has an excellent food hall and some great shops. I was so impressed with the coin laundry service- the tv shows you when machines are free and also shows you how many minutes you have left for your washing. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Osaka - especially if you arrive/depart from either of the airports. The room was spacious (in comparison to other hotels in this price range) I chose a room on a higher floor (29) and had a fantastic view of the city. The blackout blinds work incredibly well! I had a great stay here and if I find myself in Osaka again I will definitely book into this hotel.

Centrally located with many variety of restaurants and shops. Airport limo shuttle just opposite the hotel. Good breakfast though you have to queue after 8am.

No concierge service. On arrival, I needed a hotel staff's help to call up a restaurant to confirm an address which was different from the one given during phone reservation. The hotel staff simply gestured a big cross with her arms, saying she could not make the call for me as there's no concierge service from this Hotel ... then she turned away. In any case, this was the first most unfriendly encounter from a hotel staff in Japan which I frequently visit. If you envisage assistance required on restaurant booking or transportation etc., this hotel may not be a good choice for you. You may get a big 'cross' in response.

It was close enough to Osaka station as well as stores and restaurants. Clean, modern and stylish. Separate toilet, shower/bath and sink if you’re sharing the room with someone. Being in a department store complex, we could easily go down to floor 8 for a meal or drink, and floors 3-7 for shopping. It was all in the same busking!

It was close by but because of the multiple walkways (many things are on different levels) you have to learn how to navigate the area. For example, check-in is on floor 9 of the department store complex, while our room was on floor 20 for which there are several elevators to choose from. Floor 1 would be for parking, while floor 2 would be street level.

Super clean, had all the amenities (located in the lobby), helpful staff, self check-in. Close proximity to Osaka station (<5 min walk) and 3 or more massive shopping centres (plenty of food options, shopping for literally everything)

Tight space but that is expected in Japan and I would recommend watching a tutorial on how to get to this hotel to save you the hassle.

Hotel is located from floor 9 upwards so good view from the room. Large windows, blackout blinds that fully blackout, comfy bed, good shower. Plenty of space in the room, bathroom area looked good but design meant floor space was used up when standing at the sink - toilet and shower room exits into the same space. Plenty of lifts & clean. Very close to departments stores and a range of restaurants.

Check in at 15:00 - they have everyone waiting in the reception area and this means that you have to queue to check in and it gets a bit chaotic. Rooms were probably already available but they will not let you check in before 15:00. Not a good experience. Could be organised better. System to allow you to log you are there and if your room is available to be able to check in straight away.

Location: Excellent. Whether you're taking the Hankyu Line, subway, or JR, the station can be accessed directly from the second floor of the hotel via a connecting bridge. Take the elevator from your accommodation floor to the 9th-floor lobby, where an escalator leads directly to the 8th-floor Links. It’s recommended to avoid peak dining hours—recommended restaurants: Wako Tonkatsu and Gyugatsu Kyoto. Room: Relatively spacious. Even with the bed, desk, chairs, and luggage rack, there's still enough room to walk around. The bed is moderately firm, and I slept very well. Bathroom: Equipped with a bathtub (though I didn’t use it) and a shower area, catering to different needs. Toilet: Standard bidet toilet.

The 8th-floor food court is very crowded, but there are limited restaurant options. Consider dining at nearby restaurants instead. The McDonald's on B1 doesn't serve breakfast. The Uniqlo on the 1st floor is large, making it a great place to buy casual clothing or toiletries.

Perfect stay in Osaka! First time in Japan and we started our journey in Osaka. I was a bit nervous when we arrived to check-I’m because I had been trying to contact the hotel to request early check-in and had to receive any answer. We arrived at around 11am and official check-in was at 3pm. The front desk team was very friendly, helpful and welcoming; they were able to accommodate the early check-in request and provided us with the details about different amenities and breakfast. The view from our room was beautiful! The location of the hotel is outstanding. Direct and easy access to the JR and so many different restaurants/shopping in the lower floors. There is always coffee and tea available at the lobby, very convenient and much appreciated. As well as overnight necessities such as mini toothpaste and toothbrush. When arriving to the hotel via Taxi: Take the elevator to floor 9 for the main lobby of the hotel, breakfast is also served on the same floor. Delicious breakfast with so many options to choose from. There are escalators from the main lobby (floor 9) that you can take to access to the restaurants area (floor 8). Of course you can also take the elevator. The hotel is also a short walk away from Umeda Sky Building. Floor 2 is the one that provides access to the JR Osaka station. Shin-Osaka is one station away from here, easy transfer to take and enjoy Shinkansen routes. We look forward to staying at the hotel again in the future! Highly recommended!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Hankyu RESPIRE OSAKA, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way. The hotel is located in a prime spot, right in the heart of Umeda, Osaka's bustling shopping and entertainment district. It's incredibly convenient, with easy access to multiple train stations, making it perfect for exploring the city and beyond. The location alone is a huge plus, especially for travelers who want to be in the center of all the action. From the moment I walked into the hotel, I was impressed by how spotless everything was. The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable, from the lobby to the rooms. It's clear that the housekeeping staff takes great pride in maintaining the hotel to the highest standards. The rooms are modern, stylish, and comfortable, with a sleek design that perfectly balances functionality and comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after a day of exploring Osaka. What truly stood out during my stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were always friendly, professional, and went out of their way to be helpful. Whether it was providing directions, restaurant recommendations, or accommodating any special requests, the staff made sure that every guest felt welcome and well taken care of. Their warm hospitality truly enhances the overall experience of staying at this hotel. Overall, Hotel Hankyu RESPIRE OSAKA is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Osaka. The combination of its convenient location, impeccable cleanliness, and outstanding service makes it an excellent option for both leisure and business travelers. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Osaka!

The hotel lobby in floor 9 so you have to to take 2 elevators to get to your room. My room was with out breakfast but every day at the morning I saw long line of guests waiting for there turn to enter and have a breakfast.

1. Location: Very nice location, in a building with shopping, restaurants, convenience store, and directly connected to Osaka train and subway stations. 2. Staff: Nice and efficient staff, we stayed 2 nights and our interactions were minimal but without any problems. 3. Room: nice size room for Japan, with good desk space to open luggage, very excellent shower and beds.

Note that this hotel is connected to Osaka station, a major hub for regional trains and Metro, but if you are taking the "bullet trains" ( Shinkansen) to visit Himeji Castle, or to travel to Kyoto and/or Tokyo, you would need to use the Shin-Osaka station, which is one metro stop or a short taxi drive away. This was my planning mistake but wanted to mention here for others to be aware.

Amazing location, it's on top of LINKS Umeda shopping mall, and everything you can ask for is below your hotel. You can go to the subway directly from the hotel's elevator. The room was amazing. We were on the 31st floor, and the view was extraordinary. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was huge. We even experienced an earthquake and felt quite safe. There is no elevator congestion as there are 8 elevators. A lot of other shops and restaurants are nearby, overall it was an amazing experience, we would definitely choose here next time too.

There is only one laundry room with a total of 8 machines, that's not enough for an hotel at this scale. Lights weren't customizable, for example we weren't able to open only the desk light. Air conditioner definitely needs a remote controller, you have to get up from your bed in the middle of the night to change values. These are minor things that didn't affect us much.
