I loved staying here, it is a fabulous hotel. My room was perfect for me, the bed was comfy, the storage was plentiful and the bathroom roomy. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful indeed. The hotel was excellently placed for Liverpool One, and Bold Street was literally round the corner. I did wonder if street noise at night would be a problem but I heard absolutely nothing whatsoever. I'll definitely be staying here again.

I seriously cannot think of anything I disliked about staying here.

Centrally located, loads of bars and restaurants around the property. Only a 10 minute walk from Lime Street station, and 10 minutes from Matthew Street. Room was modern and clean, with a fridge, sink and tea and coffee facilities.

We did book a small double room, and the bed was tiny. But it was comfortable and fine for a couple of nights, just be aware the bed is extremely small if booking this room.

The location was perfect for the shopping experience and proximity to restaurants and pubs. The room was great although in hindsight i should have booked a room without the beams as my partner smacked her head sorely 3 times during our stay. Bed was perfect and the room and hotel was warm and friendly. Remember it is near concert square and there might be a bit of noise to be heard in the early hours.

Apart from not booking the partner head free from banging safe room there is not much to criticise at all. Beside lockers could be a bit higher and with a drawer but the decor was great. Safe, iron and iron board etc... all great assets for a few day stay and much appreciated.

This place is simply fantastic for so many reasons. The first thing you experience is the customer service which is at an American level. The staff are so friendly and happy to offer insights as to where is good locally for food and drinks. The rooms are simply magnificent, especially the suites. Double height windows fill the room with light, blackout curtains help at night. 2 massive tellys and Moulton Brown toiletries. The hotel itself is right in the middle of lots of bars and restaurants and the amazing thing is the soundproofing that has gone into the rooms. My room was less than 30m from Concert Square and I couldn't hear a thing. Parking nearby is the Q-Park that you can get a discount with buly using the hotels code. There is a middle sized Tesco for any groceries you might need 100m away.

The fact that there aren't more hotels in the UK that aren't trying to actively impress you at each occasion like this one does so easily.

Bang in the middle of Liverpool 12 mins walk from station. The hotel is contemporary/cosy, very comfortable. Great sized room. Spotlessly clean. Perfect little kitchenette. Great tea and coffee selection. N’espresso machine. Great cupboard space and plenty of hangers and safe. Molton Brown bathroom goodies - lovely! There was a personal card and invite to drinks in reception area which was all a very nice touch.

Not a criticism but if you were concerned about noise you are in a busy area of Liverpool near to nightlife so there’s a healthy buzz about town. I woke up on one night to the blurry/distant sounds of partying but it didn’t bother me. I happily snuggled into my super comfy bed and was back to sleep again.

The hotel was amazing, when I booked the hotel, I requested a room for my disabled husband. The hotel delivered my request, we were given room 101, the room and bathroom (wet room) fit my husbands needs. A definite 10 out of 10. This hotel was in a great position, the shops, Liverpool One, Bars, Restaurants and Liverpool's famous landmarks were right on the doorstep. There is no parking at the hotel but you are in the City, we parked in Qpark and got a discount through the hotel. Will definitely use this hotel again.

I would have expected an hairdryer in the room.

Location was very convenient. The room and the bed were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We appreciated the small kitchenette in the room, allowing us to save a bit of money by making breakfast for ourselves.

Just one warning to people considering booking this hotel: it is in the heart of the Ropewalks neighbourhood, which is the heart of the city's nightlife quarter. We stayed there on Friday night and Saturday night and, although there was a buzzing and friendly atmosphere, there was also the sound of music from nightclubs and bars nearby audible until way past midnight. Our room had very effective sound insulation from good quality triple glazing, and I am a heavy sleeper so it didn't bother me. But if you are a light sleeper it might bother you.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was very impressed. The room was big and spacious, offering plenty of comfort. The facilities were top-notch, from the fitness center to the pool, ensuring a pleasant stay. Everything was spotlessly clean, which added to the overall comfort. Despite being in a busy area, outside noise was never an issue, making it a peaceful retreat. Highly recommended!

You can’t always control other guests having loud parties in the corridor at 3 a.m., but hopefully, I managed to return the favor—just a little—by making some noise of my own at 6 a.m! Sometimes, what goes around comes around. It may not have been as disruptive as their late-night antics, but I hope it gave them a taste of their own medicine

Excellent location; very polite, attentive and helpful staff (who've obviously been trained), good room, smart and clean surroundings, efficient lift and more than usual equipment/services in room (eg cups, plates, microwave etc). Good value for money. Great way to re use a derelict warehouse - strong sense of industrial heritage and place.

At least a small bar for guests would be attractive and useful. The very well established homeless people and mess/litter at the end of the road was a bit off putting, but I guess that's hard to control and not the hotel's fault.

This location was pretty good. It was about a 17 minute walk to Royal Albert Dock (plus more to stop and take photos!). We were surprised to find the street nightlife so close but it was lively in a good way. We discovered Jacaranda Records just around the corner, where the early Beatles played. The staff at The Resident Liverpool were very helpful and educated us about Liverpool history and people.

Nothing comes to mind, but know they do not have an on site restaurant. There are very many close by to choose from, and some offer discounts to hotel guests. This is explained when you check in.
