The barns was a lovely place to stay , the rooms exceeded our expectations , were early nicely appointed and spotlessly clean. The showers were powerful , spacious and hot. The food in the lounge was superb and fairly priced. In our case the location was superb as it was near to our working destination, but I couldn’t comment further about its links to nearby areas. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The WiFi was a bit wobbly but the mobile signal was great so just switched to a hotspot for a bit of productivity. Wouldn’t hesitate to come again, for business or for pleasure.thanks for a great stay.
WiFi-but that’s being picky.

Clean and comfortable room, hot shower, Good location. Tasty hot and cold choices available for breakfast. gave us early check-in which helped, because we were attending a wedding reception nearby.
No bottles of water available in room which I think is important to have, especially when paying £125 a night. No biscuits to go with tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast menu: O nly had scrambled egg option available on menu, so asked if I could have a fried egg which they eventually done for me. Never experienced that before, there should always be options for how you can have egg cooked on a breakfast wherever you stay.

The hotel in general was very good and on a par with the mid budget chain hotels such as Holiday Inn and Best Western but had the feel of a small independent hotel. The room was very tidy and clean, as was the bathroom which was only let down by not having a toilet roll holder and having to dislocate my shoulder to reach the toilet roll which was situated behind me when sitting. The bar area was also very clean and cosy but very well stocked with a wide range of draught and bottled drinks alike. For me breakfast was a little disappointing though. The quality of the food was very good but there was not enough of it. I like to get a good breakfast inside me when staying hotels that will get me through the day but only received 1 sausage and 1 egg where a couple at least is the norm. In addition, toast had to be requested, which, in itself is not a bad thing, it does make you a little self conscious that you are being overly greedy. Overall though i must say i was very impressed with the hotel and would certainly consider staying in the future.
There was a wedding taking place at the same time as our stay. this wasn't a huge problem as they were in a separate function room but there were times when groups were gathered on the landing area outside of the bedrooms which made it difficult to navigate past them. It would have been nice if this had been communicated to us prior to staying which wouldn't have especially changed our mind, it would at least have warned us that there could be some slight disruption

Easy parking, friendly staff, from the reception, through to breakfast, all the staff were chatty and helpful. The room we were given was a good size, it was clean, well appointed with a very comfortable king-size bed, pleasant decoration and a huge walk in shower. Breakfast was included, it was cooked to order, hot and a good sized portion 😊 continental breakfast options and cereal were also available. If we have reason to travel this way again, we would definitely stay here again.

Plenty of parking and clean hotel. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Room was made up each day with fresh towels. Restaurant handy for evening meals. Located near superb Indian restaurant and a Miller & Carter steakhouse.
Tried to shorten stay as we finished the works earlier than expected but couldn't due to way we had booked. Will book differently or directly next time. Breakfast was good but table service was awkward and we usually went up to the bar to refill orange juice.

Brilliant customer service, great food and comfy beds. Wonderful stay. Will return and highly recommended! The best thing here was the staff, they were all fabulously attentive with bright personalities. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. They were a great team who made us all feel very welcome and they all went the extra mile for us! Best customer service we've experienced in a long time - thank you all :)
Due to limescale the bath plug wasn't making a good seal and thus the water level went down quite quickly - but when reported they had the maintenance man come the same day to repair it. Similarly with an old chest for drawers, which when pulled the knobs came off rather than opening! It just needed a skip as there was enough furniture already! Rooms were too hot for us even with radiators turned off (but we are outside folk living in an old cold house!). I think you could turn the thermostat down 5 degrees and save some energy!

The whole experience was exceptional. Hotel was beautiful, room was perfectly clean with everything we needed for our stay. The bed was so comfortable we both had the best nights sleep. Breakfast was also lovely. Thanks for a wonderful stay we will definitely be back.we had a lovely chat with a lady who worked on the bat she told us she had worked there for about 16years. She shared history of the barns and events that have taken place over the years. she had lost her husband and was hosting a memorial for him there. She really melted our hearts with her hospitality and welcoming manner. sadly we can't remember her name but special thanks from us to her. Perfect memorised

Good location. Nice spacious bathrooms with walk in shower. The staff were friendly especially the lady on reception who gave us information about local attractions. Rooms clean. It was good to have the restaurant/bar where we could relax in the evenings. Food was very good - in fact the portions were so big we couldn't eat it all which was a shame because it was very tasty.
One of our party said they would like a shelf in the shower for toiletries and maybe a grab rail for extra peace of mind.

Breakfast was good, a lovely lady greeted us we were with 8 others staying and she had arranged for us to all be seated together
Reception staff could be a little more welcoming and friendly. The young ladies serving breakfast could in my opinion have a bit more training, as they struggled to get the correct requests for teas & Coffees.

From start to finish, the service was exemplary. We travelled to Cannock with my elderley Father, so that he could revisit the area and places from his childhood. The staff were so friendly, and made us feel very welcome. Everywhere was clean and easily accessible on the ground floor. Food in the restaurant was tasty and plentiful. Service was efficient and friendly. Jenny, front of house in the restaurant was amazing. She was incredibly welcoming and very aware of our needs as a family with an elderly parent. She could not have done more to make the whole dining experience, dinner and breakfast amazing.
Nothing Really. Being hyper critical, the rooms could have been a little less clinical. Perhaps some photos of Cannock chase, a full length mirror, and maybe an occasional table with two comfy tables. They did feel a little unlived in, but it was perfect for our needs for one night, and had obviously been recently decorated.
