Very well maintained hotel. Spotlessly clean everywhere. We booked a double and a twin room- both were clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Great selection of drinks on the 'tea' tray- even hot chocolate ( not many hotels provide that!). Breakfast was nice and th young waitress was friendly and bubbly, lovely girl. Parking fee was good value for money. We had a great family weekend, thank you 😊

At breakfast, there could have been a selection of bread rolls as not everyone wants toast. The sign regarding asking for non dairy milk could have been larger/ more prominent. My husband did not see it. The carpark was a little confusing- we initially parked on the larger carpark- it wasn't until we walked towards hotel that we found the carpark associated with the hotel. As it had snowed/ rained during night, the carpark was very slushy/ slippy in the morning when leaving- didn't look like it had been gritted.

Facilities were excellent room overlooked the terrace and was really quiet at the rear of the hotel but a lovely view. Location is perfect for exploring the town centre with everything on your door step bars banks restaurants shops cathedral and tourist areas to walk to. Hotel bar was very relaxing with outside seating front and back would recommend to anyone as staff so welcoming and helpful throughout.

Nothing to dislike soon as you walk into reception area it is a hub of activity with welcome from reception and the relaxing lounge and bar area makes you feel safe and comfortable surroundings.

The hotel is centrally located and convenient for Lichfield City Centre. Fairly good choice of typical breakfast buffet food and they also took 'to order' items such as porridge. The morning staff and in particularly the breakfast host was super friendly and made it all the more welcoming. It was busy with many guests on a training course in the hotel but they coped really well.

I didn't eat my evening meal in the hotel as there is so much other choice in Lichfield and it was a fairly standard menu. The hotel has a slightly quirky layout. Although I slept well with earplugs in I think others said it was noisy due to high occupancy.

As soon as we arrived we were pleasantly surprised Steven spoke my mother tongue, Spanish, which I get to hear so sporadically these days, it was certainly heart-warming, but his service was equally excellent, same as the rest of the staff. A special mention here for Zack at the bar, a totally delightful bartender, efficient and with a great attitude towards his clients and his work. Food was delicious, wine was quite good and we loved the general atmosphere of the place. The room was well equipped and comfortable, a great night sleep after a very busy day. Would come back

Good room and hotel in a good location in the centre of the town. The bar staff at night in he bar was very good especially the lad from costa rica who was very knowledgeable and well travelled.

Only thing I can think of is it would be better if there was a walk in shower rather than a bath shower, Also more milk in the room for a further cuppa

The hotel is in the heart of Litchfield and great to get around. Moreover, we had no problem with noise or getting to sleep. The communal areas were clean and the staff were helpful. The room was a long way from reception with several flights of stairs, which would be a problem if you have mobility issues. The room was large, clean and had a TV, iron , ironing board and tea and coffee. The breakfast food was good with a range of hot and cold.

The bathroom was very small and out of proportion to the room.

Great location, room had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Plenty of wardrobe space, iron, hairdryer and tea, and coffee. Nice bathroom with bath/shower. Very clean and breakfast lovely. Bar and restaurant area very nice, good decor, warm and cosy, outside area with seating. Very enjoyable stay. Staff friendly.

Brilliant location for our stay, to visit the Cathedral for a Candlelight concert (which was also brilliant!) Very friendly vibes in the lounge/bar area, wirh friendly efficient staff providing excellent service. Our room was nicely decorated and adequate for our needs, Breakfast was perfect, plenty of choice and well presented

The ensuite toilet was very low for us, but being tall, this is a problem we generally find in places we stay!

It was very clean , good price and the main thing for us was being in town so we had pubs and shops close.

They're wasn't really anything I didn't like except for the fact that I'd paid in full online when I booked then the receptionist asked for card so she could take £50 that I'd get back after the room had been checked . Had I known in advance that would have been OK but I didn't and I'd drew my money out of the bank , which I explained . She was ok about it though and had a word with the manager so I didn't have to pay it.

I think the rooms were a bit dull- I couldn’t open the windows . I appreciate it sounds a bit too precious- but I think with a little extra on interiors - could have made the room much more welcoming. - lighting etc - could have been less harsh. ( I’m also aware that I’ve been lucky to spoil Myself with accommodation in the past. So apologies , and thanks for.
