Beautiful little spot in the mountains. Amazing architecture, and the very large room was perfect. Very close to the Mystras Castle which is an amazing site to visit. Great and very well priced food.

Barking dogs in the district at night- ugh...

Acropolis Mystras seems more like a restaurant with a few hotel rooms (3). Don't look for it in the town of Mystras, it is actually a bit up the hill from the top entrance to Mystras Palace. The room was very nice, we had booked one with a small terrace and the morning sun on it was nice. We had the best breakfast of our trip here and based on the quality, wished we'd eaten dinner in the restaurant the night before. Breakfast is based on personal selections you choose on a checklist menu the evening before and then it's all ready when you get to your appointed time in the restaurant. Everything was modern and clean. Appreciated the help with up the exterior stairs to our room

It's hard to say if there would be road noise in a busier season.

The breakfast was tailor made to our wishes - we chose from the menu the night before and it was served as promised. The room was very fine with a comfortable bed, next door to the restaurant which is certainly worth a visit - we went there both nights - and then retired to the room and enjoyed its comfort. It's a very quiet area, just a local road which has virtually zero traffic after dark and so we were able to enjoy fine nights of sleep. My expectations were low....this was intended to be the "cheaper' nights on an extended trip and as it turned out, it was the best room of the whole thing. We were pleasantly surprised by a good sized room, good amenities including cooking facilities and comfortable sitting area. Well worth it.

I am a big guy....190 cm and the shower was a bit tight for my long arms and legs, although my 160 cm wife found it just fine. No material complaints, highly recommend this place to stay at. Just be aware it is up the side of a mountain so it is a twisty drive getting there....which I quite enjoyed....but at night or perhaps to a less confident driver, it could be a bit challenging.

A great place to stay and visit. We ate in their restaurant each evening and really enjoyed the ambiance and food. The welcome was friendly and effective, and pour room had a lovely view. The included breakfast was also plentiful and tasty. The wifi worked well.

Only issue was on departure where the manager had left word for the staff to ask us to pay for our accommodation. However, I had paid at their request several weeks ago and had the evidence to prove it. The staff called the manager who then agreed. They were always pleasant but I don't like that I was being questioned.

Everything was amazing...from our initial welcome from the staff who greeted us with a complimentary fruit punch and insisted on carrying our luggage...to the beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the breathtaking mountains. The room itself was fantastic. A massive, very comfortable bed, comfortable sofa, mini fridge which contained 3 large bottles of drinking water. The breakfast was out of this world! Such an amazing choice and very generous portions! The guest house also incorporates a family run restaurant and we ate there on our first day. I can highly recommend the food. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. The location really is stunning and despite being in a very rural spot there are a couple of other establishments where you can eat and drink. We had drinks at the Mystras Bistro, just a few mins walk down the road and ate at the little family taverna just next door. We visited Mystras archaeological site and also got a taxi into Sparta...only 14 euros one way, which for the distance covered and convenience factor, we thought was a good deal.

There was honestly nothing to dislike.

Words can't describe how special this little gem is ,,, only a short 15 mnt. Drive from Sparta , up a pretty mountain road just past the Kastro Castle. Beautifully renovated rooms with rustic stone featured wall and high vaulted ceilings . Breakfast was included and didn't disappoint. There dinner menu is amazing too , but you also have 2 great restaurant choices at the bottom of the mountain .( 5 mnts. Away ) Spend the day exploring the area ,,,, and at night retreat to the prettiest most tranquil guesthouse in the area . You WONT regret staying here ! Mike T.

Beautiful location. Restaurant was delicious for dinner and breakfast. Room comfortable and clean. The decor was very cottage-like and cozy. Close to hiking trails. If we had more time, we would have hiked the 1.5 hour trail to the Mystras site.

It feels more like a restaurant that added hotel rooms. There is no reception desk for check-in/check-out; you have to go kind of inside the kitchen to check-out. The staff is very friendly, but we felt like we couldn’t bother them (not that we needed anything) for something hotel-related because they were all busy running the restaurant and then getting ready for a wedding on the property.

Clean, spacious room, just as portrayed on the website. Comfy bed. The location was perfect in order to explore Mystras and the castle. The breakfast was exceptional. Traditional and in very big portions, everything delicious. The stuff was kind and helpful. There is a big grass area with a swing for the kids to play. The view from the room terrace is great. You could close the window shutters completely, which is not always the case. So morning light was kept outside as long as we wanted. Last but not least, the restaurant was a very pleasent surprise. The food was magnicificent! With local dishes, all tasteful and in reasonable prices. The whole experience was on a level I rearly find in Greece.

The only thing I didn't like during that weekend (and I am sorry to mention it because it is of no fault of the hotel, but I would have like to have read it on other comments), is the church right next door. We woke up very early on Sunday morning, not only with the bells but will all the chanting of the priest from the speakers they have outside the church. But that's a problem only on Sunday and only if you are not planning excursions and an early wake up call. Besides that, all else was perfect.

The hotel was well decorated and maintained. The room was spacious, well designed, and clean. The beds very comfy. It had a very nice balcony, panoramic view from three sides; with large patio doors opening to the front balcony. The breakfast menu offered a great selection and everything was nicely cooked and presented. However, I kept the best for last. The hotel restaurant where on Saturday evening we have live music, two excellent players (one guitar and voice and one bouzouki) treated us to a lovely musical night, filled with Rembetiko and Entexno Laiko repertoire. The combination of excellent food and music kept us entertained until after midnight (we were the last ones to go). It is therefore without any hesitation that I recommend this hotel for your stay and try their restaurant at least once; you will be really happy with the service.

Everything was great!

Location is excellent, quite, close to the archeological site of Mystras, at 550m height and with nice view. The room is spacey and clean Good internet connection, smart tv, big bathroom, good A/C. Excellent value for money

Two points (a) We did not like the fact that we had to submit in a special sheet from the previous day the exact time that we would have our breakfast the next morning and include in this sheet what exactly we would have and at what quantity. This is stressful especially if you are on holiday and things are more relaxed and fluid.. let alone with kids in the mix. (b) Some of the staff was a bit uptight but maybe it was just a bad day. In any case our point is that hospitality should make you feel welcome and foster a genuinely warm feeling overall, we are not in Wall Street negotiating investment banking deals.
