The location of the hotel is great for getting around Munich. I have stayed in Munich a lot for work over the years and this definitely a hotel I would recommend. The room was spotless clean and had everything I needed. The staff are also very helpful and friendly providing a welcoming atmosphere in the reception.

I had checked before hand about an iron and was told you can borrow one from reception which is fine. However when I arrived and asked I was sadly told there were no irons available to borrow. They had more on order but they would not arrive while I was there. That was disappointing as I had checked only the day before and could have just brought my own travel iron if I had known there was an issue.

Staff was polite and attentive. A/C in the room worked properly. There is a 24/7 small supermarket right next to the hotel, and during the day a bakery and two more supermarkets nearby. U-bahn and bus stations right in the front. Comfortable bed. Quiet area.

The room was really small with weird looking pod-like all-plastic bathroom. For this price, one would expect a proper one. Overall, the whole room seemed very cheap. No mini bar or small fridge. Strange smell when we first entered our room. No hand or face towels provided. If you travel anywhere in the city other than the center, takes a lot of time to transit.

We got a very warm welcome at check in, and were offered an upgrade to free breakfast because of a shortage of twin rooms. Since I was travelling with family, it wasnt too much of a problem to share for two nights. The rooms are quite small, but they are nicely arranged and very suitable for a brief stay. The buffet breakfast was excellent. I've stayed in this style of hotel before and they meet my requirements very well, with good AC and a pod type bathroom with an excellent shower.

Some people might find the bathroom a little small, and there's not a huge amount of storage space if you are staying for more than a couple of nights.

A bus and metro station are just nextdoor making it easy to reach most parts of Munich's inner city in a decent time (to the Messestadt it is 30-40 minutes). Restaurants and a big supermarket for in the areas and only a couple of minutes by foot. Even though the parking garage (no free parking in the surrounding area) is rather pricey, you are able to leave the car for a couple of hours even after check-out.

Sometimes trucks on the main roads could be heard, even though the windows in general were soundproof.

The room and the beds were clean and comfortable enough for sleeping. The location is nice and everywhere can be reached easily by metro or bus. The breakfast was exceptional. It was one of the best that I have ever had in a hotel, better than other high-rated hotels.

The bathroom is a small prebuilt cabin added to the rooms. If you are not a small person, you will have difficulty taking a shower. Also, the drainage system doesn't work properly. The water doesn't go down in the basin and the bathroom smells.

The hotel was clean and smelled nice. Hotel is located right next to U-bahn station, which is perfect for getting around in the city. Also there is a 24h gas station next door. The neighborhood is quiet. Overall everything was good and we had no issues during our stay.

The bathroom was a little small and cramped, reminded a little bit of a ship cabin. Also the walls did not seem to be very thick so noise could be heard when other guests entered or exited their rooms. There was no fridge in the room.

Location is great, by Westendstraße U-Bahn - 10 minutes to Karlsplatz. Rooms are basic, but comfy bed. Pod style bathroom is clean and shower with good water pressure. Had issue with room and were moved without a hassle. Rooms also quiet.

The lobby area was a bit odd, bar and restaurant had the lights off all evening. No idea if the restaurant was even open, staff didn’t mention it or offer. Drinks voucher due to having changed room was very restricted, it’s like they held out one hand to say sorry and then took the offer back with the other. Usual hotel air-con that doesn’t know how to turn on.

The staff was friendly .The lady who made the check in was very accommodating and very helpful as well . The room was super .There was a nice large TV and a comfortable bed where I had a good sleep for the two nights I stayed there . There is an U-ban almost opposite from the hotel and the central train station and the Marienplatz are close by public transport . It was a nice break , a wonderful weekend and a pleasant return to the past .

Staff was top! Whenever we needed a help or was having a question, they responded with a smile and provided immediate support. I would definitely recommend this hotel just because of the quality of the staff. So close to the public transportation and 7x24 open market of the gas station right next to the hotel which is a huge plus. I have stayed at many facilities of ibis and this one exceeded my expectations.

The room had a heavy scent of sweat which I though would never leave the room and as I reached the hotel so late, I was reluctant to ask for a change. The next day however, after airing the room, it was completely gone.

The hotel was close to every type of public transportation, which was a big plus! The rooms were clean and had all necessities for a short trip. The room got cleaned every day, including a fresh set of towels. Parking costs €18,- per day, the parking garage is right next to the hotel and you can enter the hotel via a side door, which is perfect when taking your luggage out of and back to the car. We did not have breakfast at the hotel.
