I liked the location of the property, it’s so convenient specially when it’s close to the city centre. I was definitely surprised that the 2 bedroom apartment I got for my family and myself had come fully quipped kitchen, with oven and stove and a full size fridge. It was weird to have the huge window in the kitchen over looking the main road.

At first I thought it could be a abit better or look better but I realised I judged our room on looks alone. The room definitely grew on me after the first night. At the end of our stay, there wasn’t a bad thing I could say about the room my family and I had. It was fantastic.

This was an affordable choice for us. Upon arrival we were shown the accommodations 2 mineral spa pools and the outdoor pool which we didn't know they had when booking , so it was a nice surprise to have those available. The rooms also get a cleaning service everyday which again, we didn't know was available to us - The staff are all friendly. If you are not fussy about the facilities then this is a great choice , if you are fussy about the presentation of things then it's not the right one for you. We enjoyed our stay here very much!

The beds were a bit too hard for me but that's the only thing.

The size of the apartment was great as there were two good sized bedrooms; the location was fairly central but close enough to the Rotorua Netball Centre; and there were enough comfortable beds for all of us. Best part was the heated outdoor pool and the two hot geothermal indoor pools.

Waiting minutes for the hot water tap to run in the kitchen; the outdoor pool had no lamp to swim during the night and no towel storage to keep towels dry when it was raining; and the internet was unreliable.

Everything went well. The receptionist was friendly. She took me to my room & made sure that I was comfortable. She ensured that I had a carparking space close to my room because it was raining. Sure the building has been there for many years but doesn't deserve the negative comments that I read in the reviews. The price reflects the age of the building. My room was nicely painted & spacious. The carpet was new & the bed was comfortable. It had cooking facilities. I would have been quite happy staying for a week!!

Very little. The water pressure in the shower wasn't great, although I did manage to wash myself adequately.

Great price for the one night transit stay we had we arrived late and left early so just needed a bed and bathroom for the night, staff were awesome gave us a great run down and then left us to it, room was heated before we arrived, this was amazing cause it was COLD lol room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed, we ended up with an upgrade which was so cool, we weren't there for long enough to use the spa but this would have been a bonus if we stayed longer.

Only one, would have been even better if the bed was more comfy, my sleep wasnt the best as the mattress was way too hard

Our pup was accepted at Kuirau . Though she slept in the truck.. we did not have her in the room. We only walked her through to the private back courtyard. She was OK with us while we were in the pool and she didn't jump in

We didnt mind too much yet It would've been nice to have our car park space near our room as it was taken by other guests which was not the cause of Kuirau

Prime location for what we needed as it was for my nephew 21st right across road.

Wasn't quite clean cobwebs threw out the bathroom , cigarettes butts threw the roof gutters not a nice view to walk in and out of room kitchen tap ( hot ) needs a little work as you go to trun off but go to trun completely off it truns back on , shower goes from extremely hot to cold within in minutes.

Hospitality, was good. Room clean. Destination close in town.

Unfortunately no hot water in our room. But the matter was sorted properly using a spare room for shower.

the staff were so welcoming and catered so well to my dad and I and our whole entire family big ups to the staff and owner at this place thank you all so very much for putting up with us. and our whanau we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place awesome access for wheelchairs which made our stay super amazing

wish we could fill bath tub when we wanted to but I’m saying that the people there were awesome and would come as soon as we asked

Sure the appliances were a little outdated but that didn’t matter at all, they worked completely fine. The thermal pools were cool to know they were there but we didn’t have the time to use them unfortunately.

There was someone revving their truck on and off for over an hour as we were trying to sleep, it seemed no one was willing to ask them to stop, but they eventually did. I don’t blame the motor lodge for that but it still was a negative.
