Our third visit and again it didn't disappoint. Great friendly staff offering excellent service, accommodation, and food. Set along the coast from Brodick and a great base for all travellers, whether in a car, on foot, or a bike. Dog friendly, too, with a fantastic bear garden. I would highly recommend it. The owners are on an improvement journey, and during the last twelve months, they have replaced all the windows and erected a grand fence around the beer garden - A credit to their commitment which is still ongoing with more to come 👏

Good. Located along the coast with a view overlooking the sea. About 20 minutes drive from Brodick. Smaller room with private (but not en-suite) bathroom. Good choices for a freshly prepared breakfast. Dinner possible at the hotel. In theory a nice area for picnicking just in front of the hotel (but no outside food and drinks permitted). Free semi-private parking on street (could be an issue during peak season).

Several steep staircases to reach the room. Awkward arrangement with the location of the bathroom across the hall way (dedicated to the specific room but in principle accessible by everyone).

Lovely hotel in great location staff. Staff are all lovely too. Loved the fact we could take 3 dogs and the whole hotel is dog friendly. The enclosed beer garden opposite hotel was a bonus.

I didn't like the fact there is no TV in the rooms. Had I known this I wouldn't have booked this hotel. Silly me just assumed everywhere has a TV. This is the only reason I would not book this hotel again. I would have liked to relax and watched TV or a movie after being out exploring all day.

We had a great stay – the room, food, atmosphere, and facilities were all excellent. Particular shout-out to the staff, who were all very lovely and ever so helpful despite some difficult requests (e.g at one point we were soaked through after walking in the braw Arran weather, and the staff couldn't help us enough, offering a heater and tumble-drying our clothes). A beautiful location too, of course!

Honestly not much! As a late sleeper I would have preferred breakfast to be available after 9:00, and a slightly later checkout (but on the plus side it did give us more of the day to enjoy Arran!)

The cooked breakfast was fine, and quickly served. The lunchtime and evening menus offered a good variety. I had a lovely lunch at a table overlooking the sea. There was a problem with the evening meal, but I was offered a partial refund. All of the staff were friendly, and one member of staff carried my heavy case up to my room. The decor was classic. Everywhere looked spotlessly clean. The location is ideal, on the coast road overlooking the sea and close to a bus stop.

The single room was adequate, but tiny, and on the top floor, overlooking buildings at the rear. The walls were thin. The corridor outside was busy and noisy, due to other guests. Maybe some ear plugs would have helped. The floorboards and bed were very squeaky. There is no lift. For the price, I expected more choices of cold continental foods at breakfast time, different cereals, maybe fruit salad. There are no televisions in the rooms. There was one in the bar, but it wasn't switched on. I'm guessing it is just used for sporting events like football.

From the minute we arrived we were warmly welcomed. Simple touches like being shown to your room & not just given the key & being interacted with at dinner when ordering our food & drinks just make a stay all the more personal. The surroundings, the interior of the hotel, our beautiful room & the friendliness of the staff just make a stay for any traveler. Oh almost forgot the food! how could I! there really only are 2 words to describe our dinner & breakfast "ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!" & then the beer garden where we sat with our drinks & played cards watching the sea was so relaxing. The 2 owners were just so lovely & we now intend to visit many more times in the future. Thank you everyone at The Corrie Hotel for making our weekend!

The only slight drawback was the room as it had a sloped roof & we are both tall. It had no reflection on the hotel whatsoever just means we go back to stay again we'll contact the hotel direct & ask for a different room.

The room was comfortable with an ensuite (no tv) but that didn't matter, the evening drinks and meal was great, food was exceptional and the service very attentive. Location is very convenient, only 10 mins from Brodick and we could easily walk around the hotel. Breakfast in the morning was great, all the usual for the full scottish and also some fruit and cereals laid on for good measure. Staff all seemed friendly and easy to talk too.

As mentioned above, lack of Tv in the bedrooms, but tbh it didn't distract, as we didn't come to the Isle to watch Tv!

The Corrie is traditional hotel with modern, updated rooms. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent at dinner time and breakfast. There is a pool table which we used. It is in a beautiful location and not far from Brodick, so handy for the ferries. We would definitely visit again.

Basically everything was great. One minor quibble would be that the sea view windows could have done with a wee clean. No doubt they get plenty of salty sea spray being so close to the water. Though we could open them easily to properly admire the view.

First of all, the staff were brilliant, friendly and were super flexible after ferry cancellations disrupted our dates. Gorgeous location as well - just far enough from Brodick to be picturesque and quiet but close enough to send out for supplies! The room was spotless and comfy - the food was very tasty and the portions were generous. Breakfast in particular was marvellous. Generally, the whole place is deceptively spacious and very cosy. Only thing was our room had no TV, yes its good to incentivise your guests to be social or use the bar, but lets leave that up to us, yes? Especially when the rain is on!

The staff were absolutely perfect, could not have been more helpful or friendly. Room was great, very cosy and clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast was a great inclusion to start off a busy day on this wonderful island.

It was a little loud sometimes as our room was at the top of the stairs and above the car park but it didn’t disturb our sleep at all (apart from loud motorbikes in the morning). The staff were super busy during the day when we checked in and had a little bit of a wait, which wasn’t a problem for us just felt bad for them running about so much in the heat!
