The staff at the reception was warm and friendly. When I got there to check in, she said that she hoped I have enjoyed my travels and that was very thoughful of her. I did enjoy my travels to Tasmania. There was just so much to see. The property itself was big enough for a family. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. Water pressure was great. Hot and cold available. Room heating was struggling to keep up but we had electric blankets. There was jumping pillow, playground, basketball court within the property for the kids. Laundry is also available. The property is about a 5 minute drive to the airport. And about 18 minutes from Hobart CBD. If you get the 2 bedroom unit - parking is right in front of the unit where there is a platform which makes luggage transfer easy. Fully equipped kitchen. Microwave. Toaster. Stove. Kitchen utensils. There was TV in the living. The unit was clean. Shampoo, soap, conditioner provided.

Great stay.. loved the distance from the play ground, definitely has all the normal feels of a big 4.

My only complaint and it's purely based on the fact the weather was being tassie weather (raining) and in order to load bags and belonging into the unit we had to navigate sideways facing stairs not covered by a little shelter.. just meant things got wet. I hope it's in the plans to just pop a little awning over the "porch" of units so that belongings can be sat outside the door while entering and exiting.

Our family of 4 (kids 10 and 8) stayed in a two-bedroom chalet for one night when we first arrived in Tasmania. The location was perfect for us because we landed in the evening and planned to travel north the next morning and didn't want to go into Hobart just yet. Check-in was a breeze, the chalet was simple, comfortable and clean, and the grounds were very well-kept. Our kids loved the bounce pillow and we liked the quiet setting despite it being close to the airport. I'd recommend Big4 @ Hobart Airport and I'd def stay again. **I can't speak to the common facilities, but if they are anything like the chalets, I imagine they are spotless.

The facilities were so clean.plenty space

We asked the lady in reception to book a taxi for this morning for 2 of us for 4.45am. We were waiting for the taxi this morning and when we rang it had been booked for 5.45am. Also yesterday when we were collected at the airport the lady collecting us said she had been told there was 2 of us when we had called to say there was 4. There seemed to be a lack of communication or lack of attention to detail.

The cabin we rented was just as I expected (we had an extra bedroom, which we didn't need, but it would be great for a family or two couples). The kitchen was well-equipped, the cabin was clean and nicely decorated, and the beds were really comfortable. What I appreciated the most was the early check in (we just happened to be lucky that our cabin was ready), shuttle pick-up at the airport by a friendly staff member, and the reception's staff booking of a taxi for us for the next morning at 4:15. The cab arriving exactly on time and so, just as we were told, the company was very reliable.

Over all it was good nice and quiet close to town clean and tidy well laid out plenty of parking

There could have been more towels we had 2 adults and 1 child staying for 4 nights we were given only 2 towels and 1 face washer.there was also no where to put clothes other then hanging space. There were no drawers or shelf for other clothes such as pants t shirts pjs socks ect ect.there was also not very much in the way of cook ware.

We walked from the airport to the hotel, around 20 - 30 mins and didn't break a sweat due to the nice breezy weather. Easy to self check in. Staff drop me directly at the caravan park (the next day) near the airport for my collection. Can buy some drinks from the petrol station before turning (checking) into the hotel. The shop selling fish and chip is nice but I find the portion a bit small.

Food options were limited without transport.

close to airport which was handy after a late night flight (although I noticed that there is now a SkyBus into Hobart which is new to me and could be a good option also).

Offering an earlier and later shuttle service would be good. 9-5 is a bit restrictive given the flight times in and out of Hobart. The pillows were all very high, might be a better fit for differing client tastes if there were 2 high and 2 more medium-low. A slight feeling of "leanness" around the tea, coffee and milk offerings. OK if you're travelling with car and have supplies with you. For us on an overnight after flight there were not enough tea bags for both evening and morning and the milk had to be parsed out :)

- It is 20 Minutes away on feet from the Hobart Airport. With car like 5 Minutes. You can come directly from the highway too. - Even if I arrived and left after/ before the reception opening hours they organised everything. - The camp is patrolled 24 h through the airport security and there are rules for everyone - so after 22 o'clock there was silence. - It is very clean, cosy, the chalet I stayed in is optimal for 2-3 people. - It is also for wheel-chaired guest comfortable/ accessible. - The garden is very-well kept and has some entertainment. - There is a kitchen area and shower-area. - There is a gas station and some grocery markets in the near - with car just a couple of minutes away.

- Maybe it is just me, but I couldn't find the beach - because of the highway going through the crossroad I found was dangerous.

Wonderfully well organised campground. Super-comfortable cabin. We left on Easter Sunday. There was an Easter egg hunt for the kids, "Happy Easter" chalked in huge colourful letters one the car park and someone dressed up as the Easter Bunny. Hospitality doesn't get any better than this. And a free shuttle to the airport.

We liked everything. :-)
