This hotel is in an excellent location. It was the first time we'd been to Amsterdam and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay for our needs. It's easy to get to all the things this fabulous city offers, Canal rides, Anne Frank House, museums,. All in walking distance. We even walked to the artis zoo which is amazing and highly recommended if you love nature. Central Station is an 18 minute walk if your not too loaded up but easily accessible by tram or underground and then linked to airport so no problem at all to get to. This hotel is not the Ritz and our room was quite dated and the shower room needs modernising but it was spotless clean and cleaned every with crisp white sheets and towels, the shower was small but excellent and oh my goodness the view from our bedroom was just made it so special for us. Thank you to the staff you were so helpful and kind allowing us to leave our cases for longer as our flight was delayed. We absolutely love Amsterdam and will be back!

Amazing location! The hotel was walking distance to all major attractions, shops and cafes. We were lucky enough to get a canal view which was stunning to wake up to.

It wasn’t very clean and we found some bed bugs in our room which made it uncomfortable for us to sleep there. We informed management right away and they were very apologetic.

Very well kept, clean, lovely interior and exterior. Biggest plus was looking out the open window to the canal. Breakfast was very good in a beautiful dining room. Walking distance to most everything, restaurants a couple blocks away. We walked to all museums., within a half hour. Very safe location.

We were there in August and it was warm. With window open to get air at night, we heard sirens and honking horns so had to shut the window so then it was very hot. There was a fan but only could be directed to one room section so other person got no sleep. We alternated who got sleep. Despite this we would highly recommend.

Exceeded my expectations, this room was made for 5 people however for two people in love this was the perfect room. So much space, a little kitchen with a fridge, microwave and tap! Lots of glasses, I could go on. They have a beautiful bathroom, with a bath tub, I don't have one at home so this was a nice touch. The room had two windows which opened all the way unlike most in the UK. The view out those windows that night was one of the most beautiful view’s I’ve ever seen in a hotel. The location was in the middle of Amsterdam central which made it very easy to walk about and leave the next day. Overall this place was perfection to say the least. P.S they have a really neat lift, where if you stand facing the exit, you can see the different floors through a tiny round window where you can touch each door because the lift hasn't got a door.

The price however for 5 people this would be considered a proper bargain but for two it was a little steep.

The staff and service is especially good and will help with anything you will need, and the location of the hotel is perfect for any tourist purposes. view from the rooms is beautiful and the rooms didn't lack any amenities expected from a modern hotel

the place could be slightly renovated in terms of some closet being too vintage to be practical and fear of damaging certain parts of the room, not suitable for large families or friend groups, best for couples and small families

Great place in the city - in the city center, but it's not too loud and really perfect to relax. The staff was very friendly and always recommended something if we asked. The view from our room was just AMAZING - you can see the canals and a little bit of nightlife from the bridge nearby, but again - not in the same street that you are in, so not too many sounds for a relaxed night. Overall I would say - quite an authentic, clean and relaxed place to stay near the city center, and it's great quality for this price!

Not enough electric outlets, but we made it work with the power bank that we had. There weren't enough drawers by the bed, only cabinets. The shower didn't have a shelf for bath products.

Location excellent. We had the Deluxe room which has large fabulous windows looking out over the canal. Comfy bed, gorgeous marble bathroom. Spacious. Staff was excellent. Helped us up the stairs with our bags ( deluxe room was a few doors down and no lift there). They arranged our departing taxi and the driver helped us with the bags and stairs.

We didn’t realize that the deluxe room was in a section without a lift, which we needed… we realize that in Amsterdam there are just lots of stairs… the staff was wonderful about helping us with our bags.

Its a very cute authentic boutique hotel, quite like the old world charm that they have maintained while tastefully & modernly decorated. The room size is quite decent compared to other hotels. The location is also perfect to explore amsterdam old town by foot. The canal view room really gives the great vibe of the city.

Customer Service: The gentleman at the reception is very friendly and helpful. I was traveling with my mother and we arrived a bit earlier at the Hotel. Mom was tired and so I asked him if we could check-in. Luckily, the room we were booked for was unoccupied and was ready. He was kind enough to allow us to check-in early by two hours. Also, when we checked out, since our train was in the evening he let us keep the bags there in the hotel and so we could go around for sightseeing. A big thank you for making our visit to Amsterdam memorable and comfortable! Location: The location of the hotel is great. It is by the canal and great views from the hotel room. Very peaceful. Accommodation: Spacious & clean rooms and bathrooms! Comfortable bed! Enjoyed our stay here. Definitely recommend!!

The cozy hotel is very well located, right in Amsterdan city center. The room has a beautiful view over the channels. The room is narrow but confortable. The breakfast is very good, in such a nice room that maked us feel at home. The expresso coffee one of the best in Amsterdam. Ronald is very friendly and contributed to the cozy atmosphere of the hotel.
