This is a nice location if you need to be in the foreshore and CTICC. The room is clean and spacious but a bit old. The room had a nice open window that face the city and surroundings. I enjoyed the TV, kettle, fridge in my room. Coffee, tea, milk, sugar and water were provided. Breakfast was very nice with a lot to choose and quality food. Free WIFI is available and reliable. Check-in was also easy.

You must park your car in the public parking area outside. Alcohol is not allowed in the hotel.

Would be a nice touch if hotel opened the breakfast area earlier to accommodate runners for a big race such as the Cape Town Marathon

My second stay there... I enjoy the hotel... The halaal breakfast is a plus... The small details for muslim travellers is really great. I lost my sister while we were there and the Chef came to pray for her and comfort us. The staff were great in the breakfast room. Thank you. It meant alot to me. I will be back

There was construction going on in the next building... and they were making alot of noise while working during the night. I called reception and there was nothing they could do. Surely the SAP could have been called or just a word with the foreman. So we slept had the knocking... drilling... and grinding noise for 4 nights in a row. It wasn't fun. We had a stressfull trip and needed peacefull sleep.

The view of the Table Mountain from the balcony was magnificent. The room is spacious and clean. The breakfast choices were awesome, especially the steak and the omelette. Plenty of halal eateries in the vicinity. A Burger King and a convenient store next door. The blue and red HOHO bus stop is just round the conner. The CTICC is across the road and the Waterfront district is within a walking distance. The staffs at the front desk are super friendly and very helpful.

We stayed at the 12th floor, so we had to take a flight of stairs as the lift stopped at the 11th floor only. But view from our room is worth the climb.

The location of the hotel is excellent and boasts lovely views of the city centre and Table Mountain. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was great, particularly enjoyed the poached eggs and omelettes, the kitchen is halaal certified.

The service could be improved, there was no hot water for most of one of the days and it took some time to fix. The wifi doesn't connect at all in one of the rooms which should be investigated.

Saturday evenning there were coacoraches in the bathroom.

Location excellent , gyms close, waterfront n icc next door. Quick n easy access central to freeways. Within the adjacent square u have cafes, (mariams kitchen, burger king, food carts open till late, laundry n grocers. Views tops Food is excellent, room service is cost effective, the buffet dinner was awesome, had fun. Friendly staff. Tv options to connect phone. Will i stay again, of course, never knew id like this place after staying at a few other fancier places in Cape.

Some minor touches to make it much better E.G: Suggesting a microwave in the family room would be boss. Other small things service n staff sorted quickly.

The Capetonian hotel was phenomenal! The staff were absolutely friendly and worked hard to accommodate any of our requests. They also went over board and kept our goods in their freezer. Rooms were absolutely clean and comfortable. House keeping ensured that it stayed that way daily and were friendly. The breakfast was fully halaal and staff were incredible. The chef comes out to greet you and walk you through the menu and staff make sure all your needs are taken care of. The location is pretty central, 2 min drive to the VNA waterfront. Used the gym daily. Had basic equipment but enough for a good workout. Overall, an amazing 11/10 hotel

The buffet breakfast was really outstanding with great choices. Definitely a hit with my boys. The room was large and spacious - and the beds were very comfortable. We had a view of the Harbour which was a nice bonus. They gave ample toiletries and a bottle of water by the bed.

The one beds duvet wasn't clean - but we didn't use the bed, so it didn't really affect us. You hear the people upstairs above you, we unfortunately did get some noisy / busy people. They knew we were 3 guests but only had gave 2 milk for coffee - but they did remedy this when asked.

I thought I made a mistake to book at the Capetonian again as I was doing this booking last minute and was impressed with the rate. I had stayed @ The Capetonian before and it was old and Horrific. I expressed myself clearly @Reception and asked if I could be refunded, clearly my partner and I were really exhausted. Anyway, I was greeted in a very polite manner by Rafiek who was on duty with his colleague and the response was phenomenal. He assured me that they have revamped certain floors of the Hotel and that he would allocate a room that was pleasing. Wow... We came up to the room 418 on the fourth floor and we were really impressed ,the size,the cleanliness and Bed Comfort .I called Rafiek at Reception to thank him over and over. The Breakast was Halaal and absolutely Delicious....the staff was like family. Thank You, Sukraan Ghairoonisha and Mohammed .

Everthing was Great . I will definetly without doubt return to THE CAPETONIAN
