The hotel is under the Southern Sun Group. The location is great (6 mins shuttle traveling distance), with free hotel shuttle bus operated every 15 mins 24 hours, which is handy and convenient. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is nice with this price near airport and the size is okay. We had a good sleep before taking flight on the other day. The choice of the breakfast buffet is affluent, appreciate with the tasty omelette and hot pancake made to order. There is a outdoor pool outside the dining area, a pity that not able to enjoy it. Overall I recommend this hotel to those who just arrive or about to depart Johannesburg.

Just the facilities are bit old, but everything is functionable and fine for a stay.

It is really convenient if you have a long connection or just need to stay one night to catch your flights. For longer stays I think this is too busy and few options around. The shutlle to the airport is really safe and convenient.

Defenitely this hotel has maitenance problem. This time, our room had an loose outlet so I had to ask them to send us an adpator to be able to charge our phones. Also, we stayed in a room where people of other rooms did not really care of making noise late at night or too early in the morning. The doors are havy and smash so trong and we can clearly hera any conversation taken in the corridors.

I like everything💋 though I want the pillow cases, comforter, bedsheets to smell good. Everytime I go inside a new check in bedroom, I always smell the pillowcases, bedsheet, comforter, blanket, if they are clean. Some pillow cases were not changed and was used. So I used the two pillows for my feet under and above my feet. Please tell hotels to wash properly their bedsheets, pillowcases, blankets, and comforters clean, neat, and it should be properly washed, to avoid bacteria, fungus, and virus

We absolutely loved our stay here. The food was exceptional. The staff are professional are very friendly. The hotel has a great location close to OR TAMBO International airport. The shuttle to and from the airport is a huge bonus.

We went for breakfast at around 9am and unfortunately ALL the tables were still dirty and not set with clean cutlery after guests had finished breakfast. I asked the hostess at the door why all the tables are still dirty and she just pulled her shoulders up. We found this to be rather disappointing. I would expect that as soon as guests get up from a table and leave the dining hall, staff would then clean the table and set-up for the next guests. Unfortunately this was not the instance here...

The free shuttle bus from the airport is great. It leaves every 30 minutes in peak hours and on the hour at other times. I even used the shuttle bus to go back to the airport - on a day I wasn't flying - to get a meal and shop. The staff are very willing to assist with heavy luggage. The location is close to the airport and very convenient for travellers using the airport. The breakfast is included, but I recommend getting to it as it opens at 6.30 am.

The buffet breakfast gets really busy from 7am. The hotel is on the older side and the room aircon was noisy. Although the linen was clean and of a good quality, the pillows were overstuffed and hard. There is some issue between Booking.com and the hotel. Each time I book my stay through Booking.com, the hotel has to adjust my booking, which takes a while. The hotel reception say that when I book a room for myself and my 2 children, Booking.com quotes a price for two, 3/4 beds, which wouldn't be sufficient for the 3 of us. I would like Southern Sun and Booking.com to work out the issue.

We struggled a bit to find the entrance to the hotel even though it was clear from the main road but after we left the road we couldn't find the entrance

Clean bedding crisp white good quality. Bathroom clean . Good customer service at reception and manager was very accommodating . Handled all queries quickly and efficiently . Customer satisfaction is their priority. Appreciate the efforts made to make customers feel at home . Pool looked amazing . Would be lovely during summer . The airport shuttle was so convenient and on time The drivers helpful . Air-conditioner in room was effective. The hotel entrance and reception is very welcoming and tastefully decorated . Housekeeping brought the iron promptly . The area was quiet and peaceful to sleep in . Breakfast was amazing fresh salads and fresh food

Not bad but Personally allergic to carpets . I am sure the hotel would have assisted with an airpurifier if I asked . I saw many along the corridors . The al a Carte menu at the restaurant bar was not of a hotel standard .

The rooms are in good condition, the carpet could do with some attention. Free flavored water is provided in the lobby. The breakfast is very rich and good the staff in the hotel (concierge, reception, breakfast restaurant) very friendly and helpful.

We were less pleased with the adjoining pub/grill restaurant. The food is average at best and the staff very unmotivated and listless. We have to say, during our entire one-week stay in South Africa, this was the worst service we had in various restaurants. What a pity! The only real criticism we had of the hotel was the pool. Unfortunately, there were a lot of dead insects in the pool and the water didn't look very inviting.

Everything was good. They are excellent hosts, and they did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Housekeepers are such sweethearts ❤️

•There was no fridge in our room. They should at least work on having a bar fridge for every room. It was a bit of an inconvenience. •The breakfast is good, but however they serve the same food every morning, there's not much change. On Christmas morning, my daughter had a stomach ache with a runny tummy just after breakfast after complaining about how the beef sausage tasted a bit off, but she recovered after a few hours.

The staff was very friendly The Chef at the Buffet was brilliant and assisted me so well with my food allergies with a quick solution Love the location and parking.

A young group of boys from golf was booked in the Hotel and was running up and down the stairs and also through the corridors slamming the doors of the rooms they entered. Knocking on doors and run away. I had to travel back home the next day, a 7 hour drive. I did confront them and also report it to the desk and asked for security to intervene.
