It’s quiet, clean, no odor in sleeping area, and prime location.

Sanitizing spray in the toilets (7th floor) need refills frequently. No subway nearby, so walk to Line 4 (Light Blue Line) for subway access just fyi.

In the heart of myeongdong, the street shopping area and food stalls & cafes were literally a walking distance away. It was fun shopping around and coming back to drop off stuff so I didn’t have to carry bags all day. It was also a value for money for how spacious the pods were. There’s a train station literally outside so going anywhere was convinient (as convinient as it is navigating in South Korea). Multiple bus stations about 5-10 minutes walk away. A Starbucks literally in front of the building.

Can’t stay in the hostel during cleaning hours. They also changed my bed sheets at one point (& moving some of my clothes on the bed in the process), and I only stayed for about 5 days so I would’ve preferred the privacy and option of them not touching my pod. You also have to leave your luggae outside of the pod rooms in a female common area where the shower room is, so you’ll need a lock with chain for peace of mind. No microwave to use in the premise.

The room was spotlessly clean, hotel in an excellent location, auto check in/check out was super easy, right across the street from subway, short walk to shopping, markets, night markets & attractions.

There were just a few minor things that weren’t awesome - the water in the shower went from cold to scalding without notice (with small children this was very dangerous), the heating in the rooms & the hallways were uncomfortably hot all the time - definitely need to turn the heat down in the hallway & fix the individual room controls so you can turn the heat down to a comfortable level inside your own room too. The entrance was a little hard to find but notes could be included in the arrival instructions - posting a photo of where the entrance to lift was for reference

Excellent location, walkable, extremely close public transport, great room layout, clean, large bathroom, easy check in and check out. Would stay again and recommend to others, and just plan for the slight issues we experienced.

We could definitely hear other guests in the halls and in the neighboring room, especially if they were being loud or at night. The emergency exit light was extremely bright when other lights were off, which was a bit disruptive to sleep. The bed pillows were extremely thick, which wasn't our preference, so a mix of thicker and thinne rpillows to chose from would have been nice. Otherwise, an excellent stay.

The hotel is situated not only in busy Myeong Dong, but also directly on the Euljiro 1ga station, which is pretty much the most convenient tourist-attraction subway line in Seoul (direct line to Hongdae, Dongdaemun, Seongsu, etc). The Airport Limousine is a 2 min walk. The hotel is pretty much fully automated. We checked in and checked out via a machine without a hitch, but there is still an attendant nearby to answer all of our questions. There were also sufficient umbrellas for guests to borrow when it rained. We had the largest corner suite with a separate living room. The room was more spacious than it seemed in the pictures, minimal and immaculate. My daughter LOVED the bunk bed (because she’s never slept in one) and the hair conditioner. All in all, a perfect room for our family of 3.

I had read about the pillows on here… The casings of the pillows are most likely made of pleather or plastic of some sort, which doesn’t allow air to escape from the inside (essentially it’s stiffly inflated at all times). I made do with 2 folded towels while my family just slept flat. Our suite was also a little TOO minimal. I felt like more racks are needed to hang up our clothes, coats, wet towels, etc. Bathroom needs at least a glass or two to hold our toothbrush, razors, etc. Also, a TV would be nice.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Drip and Drop during my visit to South Korea, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The best part of my stay was the hotel's proximity to my workplace, which made my daily commute incredibly convenient. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally polite and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. This warmth added to the overall positive atmosphere of the place. I also appreciated how quiet and peaceful the hotel was, making it a perfect retreat after a busy day. The cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel were outstanding, reflecting a strong commitment to guest satisfaction. It truly felt like a home away from home. Given my wonderful experience, I am already looking forward to my next visit to South Korea, and I would definitely choose Hotel Drip and Drop again. It was worth every penny, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone traveling solo. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Recently, I stayed at a capsule hotel in Seoul for one night. Initially, I was worried that the space might be too cramped, but it turned out to be surprisingly practical and cozy. Hotel DRIP&DROP is located just 2 minutes’ walk from Euljiro 1-ga station, making it very convenient to access. There are convenience stores, restaurants, and cafes nearby, making it easy to get anything you need. The capsule itself was clean and designed with a modern aesthetic. Each capsule had personal lighting, socket, a small shelf, and a small safe, which made it very convenient. The bedding was well-maintained and comfortable, which gave me peace of mind. However, the space is limited, so if you are carrying a large suitcase, it might be a bit inconvenient. The shower and restroom are shared, but they were cleaned regularly, and I found them to be very tidy. The showers included basic amenities like shampoo and body wash, which was great. Additionally, the shared lounge area was perfect for reading a book or working on my laptop in a quiet atmosphere. At a price of around $30 per night, I felt that the facilities and services offered were excellent value. I would recommend it to those traveling solo or anyone needing a simple place to stay.

The capsule was so comfortable, and spacious enough that I could sit up in it. I like the little round window on the end so you get some light and a view out. The locking storage compartment in the capsule stored way more than I thought it would - including my laptop with room to spare. Lots of towels provided daily, and bathrooms were kept quite clean. The shower was a bit tight but I appreciated the single stalls with the separate dry area. Love the free coffee, though lounge area was very small. It was a quiet and respectful environment. Would definitely stay again.

The location is great, it sits next to Myeong-dong and is within a 2-minute walk from Euljiro1 station. The shower room is clean, but there are only three, so you might need to wait. You will get your locker for small personal items but not your suitcase. Towels and slippers are provided. Free luggage storage for 6 hours after leaving. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

The pillow is too thick and tall; it would be great if there was a softer pillow to choose from. Also, the bag storage area is a bit small and tight, making it hard to pack your luggage
