Location was great, staff excellent, very comfortable

Perhaps please put water free of charge in room for arriving guests. Doesn’t cost much and it brings smile

Our room on 4th floor had fantastic ocean view. Hotel has large, well organized and protected garden with sufficient number of sunbeds and pools. The beach with dark sand but otherwise clean is easy to access. Majority of visitors during our stay were middle-aged or older. General atmosphere restful, polite people, no loud music, no smoking. The only disturbing sign from visitors side was mentioned in earlier reviews: early morning reservation of sunbeds, sometimes not using them during the day. Good food, especially seasonal fruits and juices. Great thanks to hotel personnel, particularly reception, main and Krystal restaurant for the friendly atmosphere and nice touches.

Half day trip to Teide National Park organized by TUI (probably the only local trip provider at the hotel). We were not informed that English and German speaking tourists will be accommodated in bus with one tour guide, collection tourists from different hotels (bus approx. 40 seats) took more than an hour, the same on way back. Compliments to bus driver who did excellent job on serpentines. The national park itself is amazing, definitely worth to visit! Try to book in advance, several providers with informative websites.

Our recent luxury hotel stay was a truly delightful experience, thanks to the excellent location, food, staff, and amazing entertainment. An incredible luxury hotel located by the sea which was a highlight, with amazing walks and stunning views. The food and choice at the buffet was exceptional and the service was brilliant. The multiple pool area with the fantastic infinity pool looking out to the sea is truly breathtaking and a standout feature that any guest would be lucky to experience. The view alone is worth the price of the stay, and the infinity pool gives the impression of being at one with the ocean. The variety of pools available provides a super range of options for guests. The pool bars are a great addition, offering a wide selection of drinks and snacks to enjoy while soaking up the sun. The menu choice is impressive, with options for both light snacks and more substantial meals. Plenty of WC facilities available which were very regularly cleaned. There was, what looked to be a well stocked gym and spa with plenty of beauty treatments on offer at a good price, which we did not use this time but maybe the next. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel was faultless and the beautiful decor added to the luxurious feel. Overall, we had a wonderful and memorable stay.

There were a couple of small shortcomings, the see-through glass panel between the bedroom and bathroom was a major privacy issue and caused light pollution at night which made it difficult to sleep when someone needed . to use the bathroom. The lack of a mirror at the dressing table was an inconvenience. There were not enough sockets available in the room, which made charging electronic devices difficult. These issues slightly detracted from an otherwise wonderful stay at this luxury hotel but not enough to dissuade us from booking another stay.

The staff were superb - from arrival to departure we received excellent cheerful service from everyone. The food was great - a super large buffet for breakfast and dinner, with the alternative of two small speciality restaurants, one Spanish, one international. The view from the restaurant out over the sea made the dining experience even better. The music and evening entertainment, outside under the stars, was always something live, sometimes singers, sometimes a band, but always fun. A selection of lovely clean pools and pool bars, and easy access out onto the dark sand beach and the path along the shoreline of the Adeje Coast.

I cannot think of anything - we had a great time.

Breakfast was excellent with super choice ranging from fried English to fish, fruit etc. It was even better eating breakfast on the balcony overlooking the pools and the sea. Dinner was buffet style with plenty of choice. Waiters always polite and attentive. Room was fab - we had a sea & pool view on 3rd floor. Spotlessly clean Situation of Hotel was great with a lovely stroll along the promenade towards the more built up area of Adeje if we wanted it. Really could not fault the hotel. This was our 3rd stay at the Riu Palace and we recommended to our friends who came with us who really enjoyed it.

The entertainment was poor for the standard of the hotel. There were a couple of acts that were good but 3 out of the 5 we saw were very poor and seemed only to want to shout & scream to please themselves rather than play to the audience.

Location excellent right on the beachfront with access to promenade. Able to walk into Caleta ( lovely little fishing village nearby for dinner one evening ) Breakfast was amazing great choice - staff friendly and helpful- rooms clean -facilities modern clean and up to date - entertainment at night Fabulous sunset views from the bar where you can enjoy a cocktail or two. Spa still closed ( covid ) but offering massages one of the best massages I have had !

Have to book the two restaurants on site in advance - limited availability so do early. Spa closed People booking sunbeds from 7am so limited availability when you tried to get a bed after breakfast

Huge and varied buffets for breakfast and dinner. Very friendly staff at the Sunshine pool bar. Beautiful location. Grounds were lovely. Easy to walk along the beach to see many other beaches, shops and restaurants.

We loved the two specialty restaurants at the hotel, the fusion and Spanish restaurants. However, we were limited to only go to each one time for dinner. I understand that they want to make them available for other guests. However, even if they had space available, we still could only dine there once.

This is a proper Hotel. Everything about it is done well. The room was a great size we booked a sea view - the views and sunset were fantastic. The bathroom was just as good the rain shower was excellent. The choice of food at dinner and breakfast was exceptional the quality was also good. Most of the hot food was on a buffet style so it would lose a bit of its freshness, but still very good. The staff have obviously been briefed about the importance of service everyone of them was brilliant. There is the usual sunbed run early in the morning - there was no shortage of sunbeds but some spots are better than others so towels are spread out on most beds early. The pool area is very relaxed and again the service is great. We had 12 days here and enjoyed every one of them

Given the volume of food at both breakfast and dinner I would have liked a few more salad options on the lunch menu by the pool. You really do feel that all you are doing is eating, so a small salad on the lunch menu would have been welcome. The wine list at dinner is great but if you just want a glass there are only 3 options - they are good but the choice is limited.

Fantastic location, beautiful views, with a great promenade along the seafront, leading to more restaurants, bars and shops in both directions. Very friendly and accommodating staff in all areas of the hotel. Clean and warm swimming pools, lovely bars and restaurants. Good quality and varied food offering at mealtimes, with helpful and cheerful staff. Excellent entertainment in the evenings, with genuine performers and great ambience...outdoors was chilly at times, but warm atmospheric heaters helped to keep the chill off.

Two small criticisms: Not great coffee anywhere (at breakfast, dinner or in the bars). We were not informed before we arrived of the need to book the a la carte restaurants in advance, so we were unable to secure a booking for our short stay. However, after perseverance, the staff managed to accommodate us in the Fusion restaurant.

brilliant food- we had the breakfast and dinner. Even though it was a buffet, the quality and range of choice was incredible. My partner and I loved it. There was also some live music in the evening which was very classy and a great way to spend the evening. The Infinity pool is adults only and looks out onto the sea, with the hotel being right on the seafront. if you want you can just leave the hotel grounds through a door and step onto the beach. In general the hotel is relaxing and very nicely decorated.

The shower was a little temperamental switching from normal shower to rainfall shower and there was no bath.
