Perfect central location. a minute walk to the Metro. So perfect connectivity to all places in the city. Good restaurants and cafes near by.

Issue is with thin walls. Like even if you speak with your normal tone, we could hear it loud and clear outside. We travelled with a group of friends and we had our neighbor unhappy about loud noises from our room, where we were just speaking inside our room. That was a bit bothering as we had to whisper the whole night. Wish they had thick walls or some noise dampening systems.

The location was perfect. The metro is about 40 seconds away and there’s a bus stop super close by too! The staff were nice and they were happy to store our bags while our room was unavailable.

The same as many other reviews. The walls are paper thin. I was awoke by an alarm going off in the next room. The people in there kept snoozing their alarm and so we were woken every 8/10 minutes as we could hear it perfectly. Had we spoken the same language, we would have been able to understand every word they had said. As many have said, the bathrooms need to be renovated also. However, you get what you pay for and the location is incredible.

Very good location, close to the metro station. Very nice room with a nice view of the street and so much light. The room is tied up and cleaned each day with a change of towels every two days. There is also elastic good smell in the room! Presence of air conditioning system. Very kind personnel. There is also the possibility to have breakfast in the hotel.

For some reason the many lights of the room can be switched off and on all together and you can’t choose to have just one of them on and the others off. Very strange and in contrast with energy saving. A bigger soap/shampoo dispenser in the shower would be useful.

This hotel is very close to the metro station. The staffs are very welcoming.

The noise from the opposite rooms, passage, you can literally hear the person peeing as the walls are made of paper. So expect a lot of sound at night. That was the only thing which I didn't like

Clean and comfortable room that provided a good stay for 4 nights. The room has a safe. If you are looking for extras like an iron or coffee maker (which I wasn't), they weren't any in this room. The location is convenient to Montjuic and a metro stop is about 1 block away on the line that connects with the Sagrada Familia as well as another that connects to the main train station. The old town district is nearby as well. Overall, I was able to walk to most places I wanted to see. I chose it to be near the Apolo theater for a concert so if that is on your agenda, a perfect choice. The staff welcomed always offered a warm greeting and stored my bag after I arrived early.

Thin walls. I could hear everything my neighbors (sounded like students) were saying and they were just using a conversational voice. The shower also drained slowly.

The location was great for walking everywhere, as well as the metro station only being 2 minutes away. The room was always clean and comfortable, with the staff doing an incredible job not misplacing anything of ours. The desk staff were more than helpful, pleasant and professional and ready to answer all the questions we had, as well as great suggestions for places to go.

The only slight problem we had was that the shower in our room leaked all over the bathroom floor and on one occasion out the doorway of the room. I think it have had something to do with the seal on the door, but it would be worth looking into.

Brand new apartment, very spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Friendly staff, easy check in, although we arrived at the location very late (after 1 am). Good location, close to the Paral-lel metro station. Located 13 km from the airport (20-25 min by taxi), and 15 minutes by metro from Sagrada Familia and other main areas of interest in Barcelona (15-20 minutes walk from La Rambla). Very good price-quality ratio, I recommend for a short stay in Barcelona.

The street where Hostal Bedmates is located is under construction, with noise and quite a bit of dirt around. This is not a negative comment about the hostal, I'm sure it will be solved when the renovation works are finished.

Fantastic location right. Super close to metro. Las rambalas neighbourhood is walkable from this hostel. The port and Barcelona beach is also a 30 min walk. There are lots of bars and restaurants near the hotel and a laundromat too. Edward at the reception was extremely helpful and friendly. The cleaning staff do a great job everyday. Breakfast is good but there isn’t a big selection .

It can get loud due to the location but it’s okay if you close the windows. The room doesn’t have a fridge or anywhere to store food and price isn’t cheap but you pay for the location and easy access etc.

Second time staying here. The apartment was just as nice and comfortable as the hotel. Beds were comfortable, and the apartment was very spacious and well designed. Metro station is easily accessible as well.

We were a bit disappointed that one of the rooms did not have air conditioning and only had floor fans and the room didn't really have any outlets where the fans could be plugged in at the ideal location. There were also no locks on the bathroom doors. Minor problems during our stay as it was cold and we just had to knock on the bathroom door each time we went, otherwise this would have been a perfect 10/10 review

To be honest, my expectations when I booked the room was not so high thinking it was going to be just an old room. When we checked in and went upstairs, I was so pleased by the outcome. Room was very clean and fresh, there were enough facilities also they were almost brand new. Moreover, I have to mention about the check in process as well. It went so smooth and the guest services was exceptional. The guys were so helpful and broadly explained us where and how to go to touristic places. Thank you so much for everything. Highly recommended!
