The location is exceptional; it is walkable to the beach (less than 10 mins), metro (10-15 mins), old city, and Gothic Quarter (20 mins). It is situated at the Barceloneta, which is itself spectacular and has many small local restaurants. The rooms were spacious, with comfy beds and good bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped (microwave, refrigerator, electric stove, utensils, dishes, pots, frying pan), so you can cook or reheat food if you want. The grocery store is just 10 minutes away, so buying your own food is not a problem. The AC worked great in the room. The facility had common paid laundry (accepting credit cards), a gym, and an iron at the front desk. The staff is excellent. It included room service, which cleaned the room, made the bed, and restocked towels, shampoo, and shower gel every weekday.

Really nothing

The location is great - close to bus and metro to move about the city, almost on the beach and at the edge of Barcolentta with its quaint streets, shop and restaurants. Generally a quiet area. Entrance to the apartment was very secure and reception staff spoke English. They accept luggage early and store if you need this facility. I was given early access to my apartment as soon as it had been prepared. The executive apartment for two was well set out, quite spacious with excellent air conditioning and heating (needed both for mid November stay). There were many well located plugs and light fittings. The free wifi was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and there was lots of hot water. The kitchenette was well equipped and the breakfast provided in the room each day was adequate.

If you want English channels on the tv there is none. Cleaning is not done thoroughly everyday though the apartment was very clean on entry. The shower cubicle needed updating. The shower head was very high and could be inaccessible for anyone less than 5' 6". Mould was beginning to form on the tiles. The blackout blinds did not close but there were adequate curtains. The block is mainly student accommodation and getting "tired" but I would stay again.

The staff were extremely accommodating. The breakfast is good as well. I only wrote something positive cause after complaining to the staff that the room has no aircon they gave us a bigger room with Aircon.

There is no aircon in most rooms which is insane in the summer. One old gentleman almost kicked us out of our room cause you are not supposed to bring anyone from outside without realizing that we are a couple and rented the room together! And what if I was alone and wanted to spend the night with someone? I paid for the room I can bring whoever I want.

5 mins walk from the beach so my daughter often got her breakfast (basic but welcomed) and sat on the beach with her book first thing in the morning. 5 mins walk from the bus and metro to city. Staff very accommodating. Cleaners came everyday to sweep, make beds and clean room. Zircon was excellent and very much needed. Wifi worked well. Plenty of nightlife on the beach front too with bars, restaurants and nightclubs.

If I am being fussy we could have done with more soap in the bathroom. We did manage but had to ask for more each when the cleaners didn't notice. There were no washing up things like cloths or sponges or washing up liquid but you could get some from reception so worth asking before buying loads. There was no basics like cooking oil or salt and pepper so we ended up buying these and leaving nearly all of it for the next person.

I like how the stuff were professionals (e.g. the young stuff in the breakfast room and the receptionist) and always willing to help when someone needed something. I also like that the rooms are provide, fridge and kitchen to cook (although obviously I didn’t cook).

I didn’t like the lack of toiletries like hand soap (it is included but with extra costs to obtain it. I also didn’t like the quality of the roof especially in the bathroom. In my opinion that isn’t so bad to mention it but in order to improve, you can take it as a consideration.

It is located near to the beach and in a really nice part of the City! In front of the Recidencia there is a park and one can walk through it to get to the beach. First Market is like 3 minutes far away and the "Main street" in that area is like 6 minutes by walking. Our room was really clean and cosy, it is a lot of daylight in there. We had a small kitchen with all equipment: plates, pots, even moka pot, but no coffee, sugar, oil, salt, detergent...and for us four it was not always enough cutlery though, e.g. forks we had 3 and glasses also 3. We had aircondition, which is really helpful, when the temperature is high. Our room was cleand everyday and we got new towels so hygiene was on high level, also the personnel is really kind and ready to help! :D

Breakfast was not what we expected. One could choose eather one sandwich or croissant to eat and other days we got breakfast in the room, but there were only sweet things (like jam and bread). For that price I think it could be better sortiment. In the room there is also no balcony :( and no place to dry clothes, so we used chairs as clothes horse and hair dryer didn't work, but really kind girl on the reception borrowed us one, so it was solved.:). TV didn't work, but we are not fans of tv so for us it was not a problem, but maybe for other guests it could be the one.. Also beds are not much cosy:/

Great place to stay. Big comfortable room with all needed. 500m to tge beach. Several supermarkets nearby. Local market where we bought fresh seefood. Caffees abd restaurants for every taste. 800m till metro/bus stations. However you may just walk to Sagrada Familia 40 mins.

It was a little bit loud when people go near the building. In the high season there will be a lot much louder - discos, beach is close.

Location was great right next to the bus stops where you could go almost anywhere, right next to the beach and a park. Beds were nice and great having a mini kitchen and your own bathroom. Short walk to La Ramblas and walking distance if you like a longer walk to Sagrada Família and Gaudi buildings.

Kitchen facilities, would’ve been nice to have simple things like a chopping board and some better cutlery. Block out blinds only went halfway across so the light from the football pitch came in all night and on a Saturday the music was really loud from clubs close by.

Roomy studio apt, ability to separate the tiny bed room from the working desk/kitchen

- Most stuff barely speaks English (or other than Spanish/Catalonian) - but they were friendly and eager to help - bed /mattress are bare minimum - breakfast are bare minimum - Wifi is stuck 15 years ago - like college students we have to open an account limited to 2 devices, registering a device is tricky and complex - no other hotel I stayed in in the past 15 years had this awkward procedure. It's 2023, mind you.

Location is perfect, actually in La Barceloneta, 2 min walk from sea shore, 5 min walk to market, local shops, coffee bars, bakeries. Close to Barceloneta Metro station and to train station Estación de Francia. 1 min walk from local park with basketball place, or when continuing one can reach some open gyms at sea shore, and the boulevour spreading along Sant Miquel Beach.

Breakfast is not a breakfast in understanding of fully balance meal which I prefer to have especially at morning when I'm traveling and want to start a day packed with energy. There is jogurt, fruit juice, some cupcakes, butter, some rusks, cornflakes, jam, sweet milk, delivered each day, so for someone this might be fine or enough.
