Breakfast is a very basic but OK. There are many small restaurants within 50-100 m proving breakfast from 10-15 e / person should you wish to elsewhere. Location in the old city. Restaurants and shops near. Nice small spa (20 e/1,5hours)

Can NOT change heating off to cooling. Air condition is locked to heating. Church bells ring every sharp hour, every 15 past, every half an hours and even 15 to next full hours (like 01:45, 11:45:112.45 etc..)

Kind staff, clean, super location in middle of charming pueblo. Lots of great dining options nearby. Kindly prepared picnic breakfast as we checked out at 7am.

Parking available but on paying basis while other free options abound.

The hotel is beautiful and exactly as in the photos. We had a room on the ground floor which overlooked the restaurant. Unfortunately, the pool was closed and maintenance was being carried out but it didn't disturb us. The breakfast was great and even better for the amazing sunrise and panoramic views over the coast. We treated ourselves to a spa experience and highly recommend it. We didn't have treatments but as it was 11 am we had the whole place to ourselves. The lady explained everything and left us to enjoy the peace, wonderful! She even bought mint tea and water. The location is perfect and close to shops, bars, and restaurants. As we were there between Christmas and New Year, not everything was open, but we still had plenty of choice. The bus stop is a 5-minute walk and will take you to the newer part of town and the coat and marina in 20 minutes. It's a pleasant if long walk down, but coming back is uphill so it was great to have the option of public transport.

Beautiful hotel situated in a lovely part of the old town. Friendly staff, the hotel was spotless, and spacious. No rush for sun loungers in fact on many occasions we had the pool to ourselves and there is a lovely sun terrace too. A great hotel for a peaceful and relaxing break. The food was also extremely tasty and there was plenty to choose from. Most guests we spoke to were returning customers and we hope to be returning in the future too

There is nothing to dislike about this rustic hotel. It is further from the beach than anticipated (40 min walk downhill) but there is a good bus service and taxi rank near the hotel.

Location was good. Hotel was traditional with good breakfasts. The evening restaurant was one of the best around if not the best, pity it only opens on a few days. Rooms were very clean, although the beds had seen some wear so not the most comfortable. Quiet location very close to a pretty square, with cafes and the other good restaurant. The plaza square is the main attraction to the pueblo and gets lots of visitors. The Bus service covered main towns etc and was very cheap. If you want a change from the beach, this is the place to stay.

Shower had low pressure so more of a trickle than a flow and difficult to get the temperature right. This was the only grouse, everything else was good.

Breakfast with a view and good choice of food from fruit & yoghurt, continental meats/cheeses, pastries to selection of hot breakfast with eggs cooked however you wish. Room very spacious on ground floor with window overlooking the courtyard pool. Plenty of tea/coffee provided by house keeping and room cleaned everyday to a high standard. Hotel cleanliness exceptional & staff very friendly.

Small pool area which could get quite busy but did have the option of the beautiful roof terrace with stunning views of the coast and Malaga.

Breakfast extremely good and some food cooked fresh to order. Very good choice of cold foods and breads. The roof top terrace a beautiful place to relax with stunning views of the coast and mountains. The village wonderful with small streets to wander around and plenty of coffee and bar venues. The Coral bar excellent for coffee food and of course alcohol

Perhaps lack of local information in the hotel about bars and restaurants.

The architecture was amazing and the place was beautiful. The location was great.

The rating did not match. While I loved the common areas, the room was very tired. There were hols and tears in the sheets and the curtains. The textiles on the bed had stains in it. You should not get this in a four-star hotel. The room felt like a budget hotel. How much would it cost to replace sheets with proper ones? Not a big investment. We didn’t use the pool, but it is good to be award that it is in the shade most of the day. The hotel seemed to be staffed by mutes, ie the staff were not very outgoing, you could barely tell they were there. No smiles or hellos. Breakfast was adequate, but with limited selection.

Beautiful and luxurious. Loved the design of our room and hotel in general. Perfect location. Close to restaurants, shops and attractions. Absolutely loved the roof top and the inside part with pool and close to the restaurant.

The light in the bathroom was dark, so it wasn't make-up friendly, but I used my own mirror and used it in front of the window in the room. When you turn the light on in the bathroom, it makes a loud sound from the ventilation. But you don't hear anything when you turn the light off.

Large room with beautiful views. Comfy bed. Helpful staff with a very relaxed style of management. Simple breakfast, but something for everyone. Dinner was excellent, best fillet steak in ages. The pool water is cold, but fine once you brave the initial chill. Lovely sun terrace with great views. This graceful hotel may have the odd niggle, but its huge charms make up for them in spades. Best for an adults only break. Wonderful location. We recommend staying in a room with terrace.
