A comfortable place to stay with a very warm welcome from receptionist Teressa. Room was spacious with a comfy bed. Small fridge in the room kept our wine cool and everything was clean and tidy. Situated within a town of narrow streets but easy to find. Secure underground parking is a bonus. Breakfast provided an immense choice of just about every breakfast food you couuld think of and it couldn't be faulted. Great for an overnight stop for the ferry ports.

This hotel has obviously been quite a special place to stay at one time but it's starting to show signs of wear & tear. It's nice & clean but some dodgy repairs are evident such as tiling in the bathroom and the bedroom would benefit from a freshen up of the decor. This is more an observation than anything else, it wouldn't stop us staying there again.

The attractive town is a good half-way stop from the north to south coast and reverse. The hotel is easy to find with its own underground secure parking with lift access. The staff are pleasant. The rooms are traditionally comfortable.Ours had a view to the courtyard garden. A bar-but no restaurant. Not a problem there is a place literally across the narrow street in front of the hotel and the main square which contains many more eateries -2 minutes stroll away. Breakfast was first rate.A keeper!

Friendly people at the reception. We had to leave early in the morning since we needed to catch an early flight. We were too early for breakfast but the person in the dining room prepared a bag with some croissant, etc for us. Very kind. The hotel is located a few hundred meters from the beautiful Plaza Mayor. Opposite to the hotel is a bistro-restaurant. The waitress is so nice and friendly that you would go there for her only. And the terrace is a non-smoking area so really great for families with kids.

The bath room still has a bath tube, no shower yet. Some people may not like this.

Very centrally located hotel a short walk from the main square. Very good breakfast. Nice courtyard at the back of the hotel. Good underground parking with easy access although the ramp is steep and there are a lot of supporting pillars so one must be careful when manoeuvring in and out of the bays. It would be difficult if the car park was full. Overall very good value for money.

Some road noise as the street at the front of the hotel is cobbles. Also early morning noise from workmen, maybe dustbins being emptied.

I loved my room, which was west facing and had a balcony overlooking a pretty and quiet courtyard. I loved the breakfasts! The location could not have been better

Personally, I like to have coffee and tea making facilities in my room, but I appreciate that this is not the custom in many European hotels.

Great location (on the main street, 2 min walk to the Plaza Mayor). The room is very clean and had a classic atmosphere. Pretty courtyard view from the window. Had a bath tub. Great cost - quality balance.

A kettle in the room would be nice. In cold days, nice to have a warm drink in the room. Most of the hotels have them.

For a smallish hotel we were pleasantly surprised at the variety of choices offered at breakfast. Garage parking was excellent and the staff were very obliging.

There was nothing to dislike. Some people might not like the fact that the twin beds were a basic size and blankets were used instead of duvets but we were more than happy with our bedroom.

Always a pleasure to stay here en route to and from Mojacar, Andalucia from Santander. Lovely staff and a great location in this small town with it's famous Plaza Major and numerous bars and restaurants. The breakfast choices are excellent and the reasonably priced secure underground car park a huge bonus. Look forward to returning next year!

Bit of a shock the first night when a big group of teenagers stayed over but fine after they left the next day

The location of the hotel is excellent, very near the central plaza. Parking is easy (access from the lane behind the hotel) and secure. The breakfast was phenomenal - a wide range of choices (excellent cheeses especially delicious). Staff were courteous and helpful.

Everything was fine.
