Most excellent hotel and location! Our second stay and it was every bit as good as we remembered. Would be our first choice for another Vitoria visit. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful.

Great parking that you can drive right up to and use the call box to talk to Reception who will buzz you in. However, this feature/service is not advertised so most certainly missed by most first timers. A shame when it is so convenient.

What a smart hotel! From its very fresh, impressive and modern lobby to my spacious and very well appointed room this was a great choice in this city. The reception staff were all very friendly and professional, and my room was really nice and had all the facilities you would expect in a quality hotel (safe, fridge, kettle etc). It had a large comfy bed and a big modern clean bathroom. Just out of the town centre it takes only a few minutes to walk there (and a little further to the old town) Also it's around 10 minutes walk from the train station. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a really wide choice of food that was great quality, and well laid out for easy access even when quite busy.

I noted when booking that Vitoria-Gasteiz seems to be quite an expensive city for hotels in relation to surrounding towns (like Santander and Bilboa). So this hotel is a little pricey for what it is, but I found it very competitive in this city.

Hotel is situated just away from main square, about 7 minute walk through a pretty park. Rooms were spacious with a large mini bar and a kettle. Bathroom good size with a nice shower. Hotel restaurant serves good food, but make sure you reserve a table early in the day for the evening. Hotel has quite a stunning entrance and once on the landings it feels a bit like a cruise ship. Excellent value for money. Staff were very friendly too.

Bar area seriously understaffed, poor guy running it was extremely stressed. We were in the bar on a Friday evening and we did feel very sorry for him, as you could visibly see how anxious this was making him. This did not detract away from his politeness, even though he was clearly under pressure. The other downside was no sockets next to the bed, had to charge phones etc on the floor above the skirting board, not good for people with back issues.

The location was perfect, very close to all the main places in the old town. Our room was very nice and spacious, nicely decorated, with a big bathroom. They offered us gowns and sleepers. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of hot choices and drinks. We could store our bags until we left in the afternoon. The staff was nice and helpful.

Just a bit of noise in the radiators in the bathroom during the night, though I guess it's normal, as I am not used to have them where I live.

The hotel was well located being about a ten minute walk from the central square of the old town. It is very much an institutional establishment and a bit short on the charm factor. But it is large, well organised, clearly efficiently run and offers a wholly acceptable level of comfort. Supper in the café/restaurant was excellent and both food and drink reasonably priced. Bedroom and bathroom were both fine, very clean and well furnished. Breakfast offered a good range of choices whilst the underground car park offered easy and convenient access.

Location was good as I was there for the IronMan and it was just a 7 minute walk to everything.

I was overcharged for that week because of the IronMan. The Hotel did upsize my room to a suit, but I would have been extremely disappointed if they did not. There was also an offer for the Mini-bar, but it was not topped up every day. Also the night before the IronMan there was a pasta dinner. It was not very good and ideally we need to be eating at 6.30 - 7PM so the hotel needs to be flexible to open early.

We have stayed often and always like this hotel, its location, staff and comfort. This time was no exception and we continue to recommend it. Really like the underground car park.

Room 240: TV in the room too old for modern smart functions like Netflix and bed is starting to feel a little old and slightly “lumpy” but still better quality than most. The rubbish bin had not been emptied in the room but when we told reception about it, they apologised and promptly had it cleaned so not a problem.

The interior design and other amenities for entertainment. The bedroom is quiet in the sense that we didn't hear other guests from other room. Very good fridge, Aircon working well, the coffees , teas with water boiler complimentary is a very good detail. All receptionist were very cordial and helpful. The toiletries are very well thought of... complete with lotion, good smelling soap and Shampoo etc

The staff were wonderful and overall the hotel looked lovely and was very clean. It was easy to access the underground carpark. Breakfast was good and overall the location was very good with easy access to the old city.

The Vitoria Marathon was taking place on the day we checked in and many roads were closed. We had to park in a side street and wait for two hours before we could drive to the hotel. An email warning us of that would have been very useful. The pillows were a little too firm for us, and the cups provided were only suitable for espresso. However, I was able to collect larger cups from the cafe on the ground floor.

I felt the location was good and our room was comfortable. The hotel was interesting in that it had an internal fake garden area which was a nice touch. The restaurant was pleasant as was the cafe.

Having just been in another Silken hotel I was a little disappointed with some of the differences e.g. no Rituals products available for use. Shame the piano bar was not in use and looks as if it isn't about to be in use at anytime soon. It can be nice to sit and have a drink in a comfortable area rather than the cafe. Hate the hairdryers - holding in the button in to make it work is hard going - why hot have one that can be used outside the bathroom!
