We had an amazing stay! While we paid for an average room, it was clean, well-organized, and cozy. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking view of Alhambra—it doesn’t get better than this. Surprisingly, the hotel itself turned out to be a much better experience than the fancy restaurant reservation we overpaid for. The small and cozy vibe made it feel so welcoming. We spent the evening playing board games with a bottle of delicious, affordable white wine (only €14!) while soaking in the views—it was perfection. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations. The location is conveniently close to the Mirador de San Nicolás, which made exploring easy. A tip: definitely take a taxi to get there. Walking with backpacks is a bit of a challenge, but if the taxi drops you off near the mirador, it’s just a quick 4-minute walk. Breakfast was another highlight—fresh and delicious, the perfect way to start the day. We’ll absolutely be back! Additional Reco: if you want the best Arab food, checkout Restaurante Palacio Andaluz Almona…affordable, delicious and authentic. Best Moroccan food I’ve ever had in Granada!

The welcome and the service provided by the lovely staff was exceptional and we were told everything that we needed to know and what the hotel provided. Our room was beautiful with doors opening onto a lovely verandah which looked out to the Alhambra. Breakfast was wonderful. Huge choice of delicious things to eat and plenty of fruit, yoghurt etc.

The location of the hotel is very tucked away and unfortunately our taxi driver got a bit confused especially as there was some sort of road works going on as well in that area. Once we’d located the hotel and got to know the winding streets the location wasn’t a problem but it wouldn’t suit anyone with mobility issues!

I recently had a fantastic stay in Granada, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, the charm of this beautiful city captivated me. The room we booked can directly access to this cute terrace with great view of Alhambra, it worth everything. The accommodations were top-notch—my hotel was centrally located, clean, and exuded a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff Amelia was very friendly and helpful. She offering great local recommendations and always greeting me with a smile. We told her we couldnt catch the breakfast time, she even packed the breakfast in advance for us.

The location was not accessible by car, we have to walk through the narrow cobble street and climb some steps. But before that, the host already informed the situation and remind us to packed light.

Stunning character property, rooms were very modern to and clean. Great outdoor area with pool for relaxing. They have a good range of reasonably priced drinks which are served anywhere in the property. The breakfast included also had a lot of options. The staff were what made the difference in this property, they were all so incredibly helpful. Martina was a particular stand out, she was lovely and helpful and made sure we had the best experience at Casa Bombo. Considering the value of service and the high standards around the property I think it was also great value. Highly recommend

The property is quite difficult to reach if you have a lot of luggage with a lot of steps and rough cobbles. The staff let us know about this in advance and even arranged a transfer from the bus station to get us as close as possible. It definitely wouldn't put me off staying in the future

The property was beautiful and had an amazing terrace behind it. The location was in the heart of the old Albaicin neighborhood and was very central to most things in the city. After a long day of sightseeing, we would sit on the terrace and have a cold beverage watching the beautiful La Alhambra scenery which we never grew tired of.

As a family of 4, the room was a little small for all of us plus our luggage. We didn’t spend much time in our room but evenings were a little cramped and getting ready for the day.

I cannot praise this property highly enough especially as noted by others the location staff breakfast and the terrace with plunge pool . On your first trip out to the little bus or straight into the town take a careful note of landmarks / street names as each street looks so similar especially at night and Google maps sometimes gets “ lost” . I agree that if you have mobility issues sadly this is not the place for you

The breakfast is a very good simple continental breakfast . Could I suggest fresh orange juice would be a wonderful addition

The breakfast was nice, would be good if there were croissant. Room was comfortable, outdoor area was fab.

Did not like having our bathroom across the corridor, that was a big no no for us. Dressing gowns did not fit, far too small and towels were too small too. Breakfast area was far too small for the amount of guests, needs to be bigger. Also our toilet seat was broken which they did repair but left all the mess on the floor and furniture out of place so basically we cleared up after them. Also how difficult is it to put bottled water in the room?

Absolutely stunning location - lovely breakfast looking directly on to the Alhambra. Sun terrace lovely, helpful staff. Central location. Able to sit out on terrace in evening and staff on duty until 22:30 to get drinks.

Our room (standard room) was at the front of the property. Unable to have any natural light into the room as window directly onto the street and no curtains just shutters. Also quite noisy with people passing. There were no drawers or shelves in the room so only clothes storage was hanging space. Although we asked and a chest of drawers appeared the next day. Fan in bathroom didn’t work so couldn’t use hairdryer with a mirror. No chair in room.

a fabulous team of friendly and professional hospitality people own and work here - they make you feel incredibly welcome and are ever so accommodating. We loved that is was a boutique place to stay and the view was utterly incredible - the verandah was at our doorstep and at any time of day there was a clear view of the Alhambra - what more could you ask for, oh that's right, a Gin & Tonic... perfection.

Our room was promoted as having its own bathroom - the bathroom was not accessible from our room. This was nothing more than inconvenient (especially in the night) however it would not stop us from staying there again, we would just ensure we requested a room with ensuite within the room itself.

Casa Bombo is located in the historic Albaicín, so the vibes are great, but beware: the neighbourhood is pedestrian only. Our taxi dropped us off nearby and it was an easy walk down various stairs. The hotel was really clean and the hosts were very friendly. They also helped us figure out a few details about Alhambra. Since we got an early start, they provided us with a lunchbox breakfast. It was very basic, but it filled the spot. We were able to leave our luggage with the hotel for the day. The views on Alhambra from the hotel are stupendous.

The check-in process is a bit challenging and strictly starts at 2-3pm, so do not arrive earlier, as you will be turned away without access to your room (you can leave your luggage though). They will ask you often by email what your time of arrival is so they can be there when you arrive (it's a small operation). Beware that if several guests arrive at the same time, you may need to wait for quite a while for everyone to check in and be given a tour of the property individually. This whole process was disappointing, as we had flown in early from North America and were quite tired. We would have enjoyed a bit more flexibility and early access to a bed or shower.
