The room was small, but the bed was very comfortable. More importantly, It's about a 90 SECOND walk to the front gate at the Alhambra! Seriously, the hotel! is closer to the front gate than the front gate is to the Nasrid Palaces inside the Alhambra. Also, the staff was very helpful when I had a problem with my tickets. They saved my trip

The room is cramped and the tv was very outdated. It was an old-style cable hook up. There were 2 options in English (BBC and Al Jazeera- English). I would have liked to see anything other than depressing news before bed.

The breakfast was very good 👍🏾 The area was beautiful and the view of the Sierra Nevada snow was awesome 🤩

My 1st room was very small which wasn’t in the photos. But my upgrade was spacious. The neighbouring room toilet flush + shower was so loud it wake me with a start sometimes 6 times a night. I was in room 410 and the perpetrator was room 409. Not good if you are a light sleeper 🤷🏻‍♀️

We stayed for a whole week and enjoyed every moment. As someone who is particular with hotel service, this hotel exceeded our expectations although we came in without expecting much from a 3 star hotel but their service could've easily gotten 4 star. Main reason we booked this hotel simply because it is a stone's throw away from Alhambra. Super convenient and time saving. From the moment we walked through the entrance we were greated cheerily by Pablo. We arrived almost midnight. So it was very appreciated to be greated with warmth and smiles. The restaurant manager (didn't catch his name but he is bald) is a one-man show. I assumed there is a staff in the kitchen while he handles the guests and restocking the food. He was friendly, helpful and very hardworking. I love watching him at work with full integrity. We had a small accident in the bathroom and the night shift staff, Jaime was very kind to assist with the clean up. There was no housekeeping so he took on the role. We were surprised but impressed too. He has been working at the hotel for more than 20 years. It seems he love his job and is very good at it. The rest of the staff(unfortunately we didnt catch their names), helped arrange transportation for our trip to Sierra Nevada and ensuring everything went smoothly. Their team work is palpable through their effective communication. Everything was straightforward with no hiccup thankfully. We enjoyed our trip with the help and unofficial guide by our driver, Fernando. Hiked up 3400+m to Malhacen. A week shy from Ski season. Next time hopefully. The housekeeper too did a good job. We left the hotel very early in the morning and it was a smooth check out. Jaime booked a taxi for us and driver arrive in less than 5 minutes. All in all, thank you so much to team Hotel Crisol Guadalupe. You guys have been super nice and helpful. Till we meet again God willing.

The location was good. It was near Alhambra. We were able to park at the Alhambra carpark at a fee. There was a bus stop nearby where we took a direct bus to Mirador San Nicholas for the best view of Alhambra (+sunset). The property was also walking distance to an alternative entrance to Alhambra that led to the Nazaries Palace (the place that required visitors to enter by the ticketed time). We only stayed one night and was able to leave our luggage at the reception area while we tour Alhambra.

Although we had booked a private, junior suite (for four pax), it was more like a one room with double bed; and another double bed was converted from a sofa bed in the living room. We converted it back to a sofa to enjoy our time in the living room; and converted it to a bed for the night. No issues.

A bit of noise from the neighbors washrooms, whenever they flushed or used the water you could hear it in our room Although we didn't have breakfast, we had a quick look at it to decide if we should pay for it or eat in the town - the breakfast was relatively basic looking, it was a buffet with lots of pork options but little for veggie/halal so it was a pass from us

Great location opposite the entrance to the Alhambra, with discounted parking available on the Alhambra parking lot. Room was a little tired, but comfortable. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Walk down the hill to the town center, frequent bus service up and down the hill, if you don't feel like walking.

The breakfast buffet was fairly limited and the choices available seemed to be of poor quality. The scrambled "eggs", were simply inedible. Hotel should consider upping the quality of it breakfast options. The hotel does not have a restaurant, so best to eat in town before returning to the hotel for the night.

The location near The Alhambra palace was astonishing, the staff were very nice and helpful, especially Paolo from the reception, he was very polite, kind, respectful and helpful, he gave us a number of advices and recommendations regarding our stay and places to visit in Granada and outside of it, and every and each time it turned to be true. Another interesting point regarding the parking lot, the hotel does not have nor operate a one for themselves, instead we parked our car in The Alhambra car park which is located just in front of the hotel, at first glance it seemed troublesome, but it turned to be an experience by itself, the orange and citrus trees were in full spring blossom, the odors around just like perfume when we smell it, it made us want to drive the car and park it again just to have the pleasure to smell orange trees. In the end, it was a pleasure to stay at the hotel.

Across the road from the Alhambra ticket office. Older hotel but everything is in fair condition and works. Large rooms with a small balcony and a view, good bathroom, good breakfast, and super easy driving access and parking (in the Alhambra car park). Value too at 63 euros for the night (including the parking). Also good walking access to the Manuel de Falla house (recommended), the forest park above the Generalife, and (steep downhill) to the Albaicin.

The advantage is that you are at the top of the steep Alhambra hill above Granada itself. Its also the disadvantage. So if you plan to go down, you'll need to get back up. It's a serious walk, particularly in hotter weather. That said, the path between the Alhambra and Generalife which runs steeply downhill from the hotel to the Albaicin is not to be missed for its spectacular views. Note also that your choice of restaurants and shopping at the top is pretty limited. Driving down into the city not recommended now.

The hotel is located right outside the main entrance to the Alhambra (book tickets well in advance!) and just 15 minutes walk down hill to the Catedral in the centre of town or 30 minutes walk (down and back uphill) to the Cuevas de Sacromonte. The staff on reception and at breakfast were fabulous and so helpful, giving a map with directions and recommendations. The bedroom was fine (small) and the shower good with rainfall shower head, normal and 4 jets directed at your body (you could choose which head to use.) My room had a balcony with a view over the Alhambra. Breakfast was OK but not brilliant - cereal, fruit, meat and cheese, cooked bacon and scrambled egg, cakes, yoghurt, bread and rolls, coffee, juice, jams. The hotel has a lift and stairs, no parking of its own but the Alhambra parking is directly opposite (entrance up the road)

The single room was tiny with a small double bed (bed size bot a problem). Getting down the corridor from the door and bathroom to the bed was very tight getting past the bedside table. The safe didn't work. The balcony doors didn't lock (but I don't think anyone could have got onto the balcony).

The room, the view and the facility was amazing. Reception Lorena was helpful and very informative. Quite near to entrance of Alhambra, but to go to the city centre you needed to take the bus(bus stop is nearby) but not too easy to walk to the centre. Around the hotel there were shops and places to eat but quite limited the choices. If you plan on visiting Alhambra and wanted to take the early entrance there, a night at the hotel is recommended. Bed, bath and hot water was great. Room had view of Alhambra but had to request for it.

Buffet choices was rather limited and they charge for it instead of including in the booking. Perhaps more variety for Muslim travellers would have been great.
