Old house / palace, room w view on parts of the Alhambra w a nice protruding window. Not cheap, but still moderately priced. Surprisingly quiet despite lots of pedestrian and the occasional motor bike traffic.

Facilities need renovation, a bit too "rustic" to qualif, as "charming" in our opinion. Noise from the lobby as the room door is razor-thin. Small bed for 2pax (140cm) in a room which could easily house a king-size bed (220cm).

The location was wonderful , you could walk everywhere! the view was amazing (room 4) at the front of the hotel we were able to open the window sit and take it all in :-) in saying that .. once you shut the windows there is no noise! the staff were lovely and very helpful ! Nothing was to much trouble

Nothing at all ! There are stairs… but that’s Europe it keeps you fit and you get better views

We had a junior suite and it was fabulous- masses of room and a great view. Very comfortable too. The bathroom was spectacular. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Raquel on reception and the lovely lady in charge of breakfasts.

We hadn’t realised that access to the room was up some very steep stairs - luckily Raquel arranged for someone to take our cases up on arrival. It was not a major problem for us, but I think the website should make it clearer that even the entrance would be difficult for some people to manage and only a few rooms are accessible by lift.

Our room was gorgeous with a view of the Alhambra. Everything was perfect! The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent- right in the center of everything! None of the hotels we have visited in Spain offered parking, but at least this hotel gave you a discount in a very safe, local garage close to the hotel. The building itself is beautiful with lovely details in Arabic architecture. Lovely fountains in the reception area. The price was very low for such a grand hotel. Loved it!!!!

Location was excellent. we could easily walk to lots of restaurants/shops etc. The reason for our trip to Granada was to visit the Alhambra - we were able to walk there from the hotel - do make sure if you want to visit you book your ticket in advance - we saw a disappointed family who had turned up but could not go in. We did a 3 hour guided tour which was excellent. The hotel is lovely, with an olde-worlde feel, we had a huge room with spa bath and Rituals bath products, and even got BBC News - first time on our trip! Bed was super comfy. Staff were lovely. Do follow the instructions to the car park, and get the taxi as they suggest and keep the receipt. Breakfast was continental style. The city is actually pretty big. We only stayed for one night, but could easily have done two.

The parking could be a problem, unless you follow it to the letter! I had read a previous review on here so knew to followed their instructions, but had to copy these and put through Google Translate, so an English version on the hotel website would be useful. We did follow the instructions and parked where told- so it was fine. Luckily we had a sat nav, as it would have been difficult to navigate through the city and one way roads without it. We kept the parking ticket and took to the hotel and got a receipt from the taxi driver - The hotel sorted out the exit ticket from the car park and took off the taxi fare. As the breakfast room is small you have to choose an allocated time. We had to go for 8am as we had to get to the Alhambra for a tour.

The hotel was beautiful and the location was perfect for visiting the Alhambra Palace. After a day walking the jacuzzi bath was just what I needed! We also took a short bus ride to Sacromonte and visited the cave houses and museum where the gypsies lived and learnt the history of the area. We would love to come back and visit in the evening to experience the flamenca shows in the caves. The hotel was close to bars and restaurants.

Location of this 16th century hotel is excellent, walkable to taxi rank, bus stops, cafe & shops. Great views out of the window of charming city Staff are very friendly and welcoming Very characterful Hotel, quirky and interesting Hotel gives clear directions on how to get there and park so read their messages

Breakfast was a bit lacking in ambience and content It is an old Hotel so some of the facilities are naturally older

Excellent location with high quality accommodation. Staff very friendly and hugh choice for the wonderful breakfast. We had two suites for the party of 4. Both rooms were superb with seperate bathrooms with shower and jacuzzi bath. Building features were quaint adding to the overall experience. The hop on hop off Tour Train Stop 3 is 200m from hotel and well worth trip to get overview of Granada. NB: upgrade to the plug-in headphones with English version for €1.50. Not a hotel for family with small children. Great for a special treat.

The hotel had no bar but we found one very close by. Other than that, I couldn't fault the hotel.

My favourite hotel in Granada - actually in Spain . Stayed 3 times over 12 yrs . Its unique , only 5 rooms each different & beautifully historic . Its so classy - 350 yrs plus of history

Breakfast in Winter is a bit cosy - be nice to have fresh eggs without pressuring service . In summer they have terrace . Honestly the place is the best !!!!

Location was close to the areas we want to visit/see in Granada. Staff were helpful and we were able to check in right away. The room and linens were clean. Bed was comfortable. Wished we stayed for another night.

Nothing. Guests with large/heavy luggages might find the stairs to the rooms a challenge, though staff readily offers assistance.
