Good place in the heart of Salamanca/Recoletos area of Madrid. Easy cercanias ride from Chamartin or Atocha, (get off at Recoletos and cross to Biblioteca side) METRO lines nearby if you want to inexpensively get to downtown Madrid. Easy walk to Prado, a little over a mile if you love to walk a d window shop. Some refurbishing going on but nothing to bother about Reception on 5th floor. Small fridge was nice. Air conditioning was easy to manage. There are 2 elevators located in different areas. If you are above floor 5, second elevator towards the back takes you to your floor.

It was nice and well located in Salamanca district. Very homely feel, and the bed was comfy. Nice bathroom with really nice shower gel/shampoo too.

Really warm and it didn't appear that my air conditioning worked, despite the remote being there and functional. Might have felt it more as the single room is - understandably - quite small too. Not a big problem as I was only there for one night, and I could just open the window with it being cool out this time of year.

The room was clean and decent size bathroom/shower. Room had a kettle, iron and fridge… location well connected with public transportation. One could pay extra € 12 for basic Breakfast. Overall, a decent hotel for short stay

The room I had was a corner one with no ventilation. There was a window but which did not actually open… had some light from translucent glass. Which was quite suffocating. For a single room charging almost €200/night I found it was not great value for money in terms of room.

Great location, my favorite block of Madrid. Close to Retiro, clean, nice architecture, a lot of restraints, shops. Perfect stuff, friendly and helpful. Late check in, ability to leave your luggage after checking out.

I had to pay by link that hotel send to my email, it's completely inconvenient. Much more easier to pay at booking.com or at the desk. Room without view at all if it is possible for somebody, it didn't matter for us, because we came to Madrid to spent time outside of accommodation

The staff was hospitable, the location was EXCELLENT and accessible to all the hot spots and the shopping center of Madrid, plus the walkability score was a 10/10 with restaurants open late and grocery stores close by.

It's a boutique hotel so minimalism can be appreciated especially if you are a light traveler, for me it was a bit tough because I had a big suitcase and another carry-on suitcase, but not the hotel's fault. Next time I know to travel lighter. The rooms are a decent size and even manageable for 2 people/a couple.

Excellent location. One of the best neighbourhoods in Madrid, with beautiful cafés and restaurants nearby. Bus stop a few steps from the hotel, metro station a few meters down. Clean rooms and common areas. Bed was comfortable and large, despite being an individual room. Nice staff.

Lift was old and small, but not a big problem. Some guests were talking loudly on the corridors at 3 am, but soundproof was overall quite satisfactory.

Great Location. Mid size hotel, more personalized. Great Breakfast. Very Friendly Staff and Manager. Hotel renovated only a couple of years ago feels like new. Don't want to give the Best recommendation cause I do not want the Price to increase…. Jaja. Loves it. Would stay there again.

Wished the price could be somewhat lower to have stayed more Days. It could be nice for the Balcony Rooms to have the option of having breakfast on the little Terraces overlooking Velazquez. Which they had a weekly or monthly discount fare.

It was a luck to find this hotel in Salamanca district keeping in mind the booking was made all of sudden. The room was tiny (still enough space to do my yoga) but tidy and comfortable, facility seemed renovated. The staff was friendly, breakfast was fulfilling and tasty and living zone so cozy spacious+chill music, perfect steer view, wi-fi that really works. I recommend this venue for 1-2 days stay, no doubts.

This is a place to stay for 1-2 days. And it’ ok for one person but a couple will struggle with a humble space. Still it’s ok if the price doesn’t get too high (and it does eventually).

Wonderful, I stayed 3 separate times in 3 weeks! The staff were so friendly and they all made me feel so at home. Each room was very clean, well-lit, AC worked great. Wonderful location in Madrid's lovely Salamanca neighborhood - each room I stayed in was very quiet.

In one room the shower was too small - barely enough room to turn around and I kept hitting the faucet handle and changing the water temperature without meaning too. But the showers in the other two rooms I stayed in were larger and much better.

Location is excellent for tourism. Not in the old center but on one of the main Streets near the Retirio park. The entrance is on the street but our rooms were on the back so no noise at all. The breakfast bar was delicious and good value. We come to Madrid often and will stay here again.

The elevator is small but that is true of most places in older buildings in Madrid. An extra chair in the rooms would have been nice
