We had the penthouse apartment for 2. The location was great. Very close to supermarket. Close to center (walk by foot). Close to bus station. Soho is a nice area, no problems. Very quiet apartment (apart from the epiphany January 6). The bed was comfortable.

The cleaning is not very thorough, especially kitchen area and utensils. There is no table to have a meal at, only sofa table.

Location of the flat was perfect, center of Soho, close to shops and restaurants. 15 minutes walk to 2 major beaches around, 10-15 minutes to Alcazaba medieval fortress. The accommodation was nice, clean and cozy, the bonus is the big terrace, to enjoy a drink on a hot evening. The air conditioning is doing its magic to keep you cool while outside is boiling hot. The flat comes with basic needs in the kitchen, cups, mugs, plates etc. Plenty of towels of different sizes.

For new guests, I suggest to buy a shampoo and shower gel from duty free before check in, the host is not providing with these small but essential things. Other than that nothing bad I could say.

Great location for what we wanted - easy walk to main train station for planned travel and easy wander through the main city and to the port. Close to the market and restaurants with fabulous food. The apartment was spacious and clean with pleasant decor. Full height windows for plenty of light and fresh air. The location felt like a safe area to be staying. We were pleased we picked here to stay.

The request for a deposit payment as soon as the booking was made via a third party website when this wasn't mentioned on the Booking.com listing. The request to click on an external link made it feel like a scam email. It did turn out to be legitimate in the end, but it was very concerning when no other bookings in other cities used this method. Passport details were also requested by email - again felt suspect so I provided these at the property when I checked in.

Tamara, my contact at Life Apartments, was terrific. She checked me in personally, which I greatly prefer to self-check-in. And she texted me great local suggestions. Excellent location, walking distance to the historic district and the major “sites,” but without the crush of tourists. The market across the street sells just about any food or drink you might want to stock the fridge. The apartment was immaculately cleaned before my arrival and I was offered a linens change after a few days. The apartment has excellent blackout curtains and shades to keep out that Malaga sun while you’re out during the day. But the best feature is the terrace, furnished and with an optional umbrella shade, and a nice open view. A perfect place to enjoy a coffee or glass of wine. (I got my takeaway coffee every morning at Bar Regina down the street.)

I’d have liked a few bathroom amenities — shampoo, shower gel, etc. At first I missed a Nespresso machine but there is nothing better than a Spanish cafe con leche, so I was happy to run downstairs in the morning for a takeaway coffee.

Apartment is located in a nice area, very close to the city center, but not too central :) Very close to main train station too. It has everything you might need for a short stay and is very spacious. Everything in the apartment seems to be new, honestly nothing to complain about. It's a very decent and enjoyable place to stay.

Wifi signal was very weak, if you plan to work remotely - think of a backup option just in case. Also, there're no usual things like tea, salt, etc. - so if you plan to cook something or have a breakfast there, take this into account.

The location was excellent and the apartment was very quiet and clean. Excellent restaurants closeby

There was a problem with the WI FI which meant additional roaming fees for all of us. There was no cable TV which was definitely problem for us since all programs were in Spanish and we missed some entertainment in the evening.

Excellent location for city trip. Everything within walking distance. We enjoyed the balcony. We could enter the appartment earlier which was absolutely great.

You have to be very critical to find something to improve, but we could have used a coffee machine. Also, there is no media like Netflix available on the television.

Excellent host, really helpful. Location in Soho is perfect. Apartment size is perfect, has everything for a weeks stay and roof terrace was great even in February.

We have stayed here a number of times over the years and we can see that the apartment needs refreshing now. A lick of paint here and there and a tidy up would make it a 10. Nothing to put us off though, we love it here.

The location was excellent. The small balcony space good for watching the world go by. Large enough for 3 adults and a dog.

Kitchen utensils were very limited, Oven gloves were lacking. Superficially clean but dirty on anything above the eyeline

This is our fourth visit - we love the Life apartments! It’s always spotlessly clean and has everything we needed to feel like a home from home. The location is excellent with a local vibe but just a short walk from the city centre, and with good bars and and restaurants close by. It’s also a 5/10 minute walk to the bus stop for the airport so you don’t really need a taxi.

Some minor things needed repairing but they didn’t spoil our enjoyment of the place.
