* room size is spacious. i managed to bring my colleagues and work in the room, cos the room is big enough for us to work there. * bathroom is really spacious. space for shower is big too. plus they have electronic bidet 😍. the hair dryer they provide also quite big and good, which is not typical in most hotels. my thick and long hair dried quickly. * generous with teas, coffees and snacks. their coffees and teas are rrreally good too! * there’s also small fridge in my room. so i could buy food from 7e downstairs and keep it in the fridge. * cats! there’s a room of clingy cats where we can play around with. * location is amazing. even my local friends praised how strategic the location is. * right on top of 7e and poya. pxmart and famima are 1 block away. the poya is one of the biggest i’ve seen during my short trip. * saw the other rooms when they were cleaned, other rooms were really good too. i’d love to try next time. * lots of good japanese restaurants and coffee shops around.
* not as clean as i expected, there are some corners that are dusty. but i’m a clean freak tho, so my standard is quite high. * internet is not the fastest, keeps on getting cut of. the internet didn’t reach my toilet as well. * admin is not operating 24 hours, but they’re reachable through Line.

Spaces that are well thought out and nicely designed attract me- and this hotel is IT! Rooms are clean and spacious. Hotel is located on the top floor of the building so it is nice and quiet. I like that they made us remove our shoes at the door, and wear house slippers while moving around the hotel. The common areas feel clean and it also feels kinda like you’re own home. The best part is they have heated toilet seats!
Room 1 had some issues with the A/C (not cool enough) and when reported, the receptionist just said that it is working and didn’t do anything to rectify it.

Unique design-focused room design, very spacious and clean room conveniently located between 2 different MRT stops. Room was very quiet. Easy check in process and self check in is available for anyone arriving after hours. Adorable cats in their own sealed room next to reception. Best suited to independent travelers who are self sufficient as there is not 24-hour reception or restaurant, and the hotel is on the 11/F of a commercial building which some may not be used to. Perfect base for city exploration.

Great location with lots of restaurants, cafés, and convenient transport around. We had a nice room with Japanese bed on tatami mats, and two super comfy bean bags. There are little cats in a separate room in the public area, a bit random but very cute :)
No complaints, but when we needed to get some work done we realized there was no desk in the room. The room was also quite expensive for the fact that it's more a hostel than a hotel, but I think it was about double than normal because of the holiday weekend.

The room was quite big, nicely decorated, with a great bathroom and good amenities. Extremely nice and helpful staff, good location quite close to the train station.
Because of the tatami floor, there was a quite strong smell in the room (we would quickly get used to it once in the room, but it was very noticeable when coming from outside). A few ants wandering around also, but again, the room being super clean, I guess it was due to the tatami.

We lived in No.5 rooms, the size is very big, and super enough for 2 people. There has windows in the room and able to open them. The staff is very helpful and kind. Metro is 500m away which is perfect for us.
The windows are facing big street which has very busy traffic. So even close the windows, we still can hear the noise from outside. If you are very sensitive of voice, should keep it in mind.

Very clean and comfortable soundproofed room No window in our room but efficient air-conditioning Excellent help from very friendly reception ladies, Sabrina and Molly Great location, just a quick walk to the Yongshan Mall and MRT, and an excellent night market close by.

It's really difficult to find a good hotel with reasonable price in Taipei. And Chill roof definitely is not of the kind. The room is spacious, staffs are nice, and design is good. Plus! they have a cat room! I would totally go again if I visit Taipei.

Staffs were nice and helpful. The location is great, easy to get to MRT and there are bus stops close by, only few stops from Taipei main station. The room was so comfortable, unique design in each room, the bathroom was well design.We totally loved it. We already booked another stay with them this upcoming weekend.
