Tanzanite Executive Suites is different from what I have experienced in hotels worldwide and even in Tanzania itself. It is one that frowns at alcohol (luckily I don’t drink it) and does not have a restaurant so it does not serve breakfast. If you thought these are a disadvantage, think again! Because of its location, in less than 200 meters, you have a variety of high-end and street food restaurants to choose from. What you then get is a free taste/view of the beautiful sights, the melodious sounds and the diverse cultures of Dar es Salaam. Talking of sights, Tanzanite Executive Suites offers the best view of Dar es Salaam day and night. I stayed on the 10th floor and the view was simply magnificent. The rooms are clean and the available facilities are good. You can make free coffee or tea in your room. There is a microwave with plates and cutleries provided. These come in handy if you brought in or order food (which you can from your room because a list of restaurants and telephone numbers are provided). Tanzanite Executive Suites is about 7 minute walk to the ferry to Zanzibar.

The room was spotless, offering a comfortable and inviting space. Around the hotel, there are several dining options, and it felt perfectly safe to explore even at night. During the day, we spent our time walking around. A highlight was our visit to the Kariakoo Market, which proved to be an unforgettable experience. Interestingly, we didn’t encounter any other tourists in the area, yet we felt completely at ease and warmly welcomed by the locals. One of our days was dedicated to exploring the National Museum and House of Culture. The visit was both enjoyable and enriching, making for a worthwhile and pleasant outing. Overall, this hotel has a very good location if you want to be in the center of the city but in a safe place, and have a local experience outside the touristic areas.

I used the hotel Wi-Fi for an online meeting with Japan, and the connection was stable, which was really helpful. The room was clean, the shower had good water pressure, and the hot water was consistent. Although there was a power outage, it was restored quickly, so there was no issue. For meals, I used a delivery app called 'Piki' and ate in my room.

Arrival process was smooth; manager was friendly and helpful and provided advice on where to get appropriate meals, as no meals are provided. Room was on 9th floor and had a good view; it was a self-contained unit. Excellent security, with a grille at the ground floor reception, with proper reception on 7th. Location close to the ferry - walking distance.

I stayed 3nights and trust me I felt like I m staying at my house.. Everything was perfect location,staff and there customer service always available 24/7 there watchman were also very helpful. Room had also amenities like towel soap microwave mini fridge,the last day I got to know there is also gym at top floor. It was beyond my expectations I would recommend this place and I will definitely come back to stay at this place.

we come here a lot.and always get the two bedroom suite. it’s worth the $. There are great local restaurants nearby that we love to go to. it’s ideally situated in the center of town.

The only think we didn’t like was the initial smell in the rooms. When we came here pre-CoVid there wasn’t that smell. This may be a post-CoVid by product along with no breakfast offered.

Staff were extremely friendly and ready to assist when i encountered issues Kudos to the staff at the lobby at ground floor and the helpful lady at the reception

I hope they state clearly on websites that it is not bed and breakfast. They do not offer food or breakfast at the hotel You can however step out to the nearby restaurants few meters away

I used this hotel for a transfer hotel for that is is good, as a business hotel I would not recommend it. The rooms are very well equipped, and the staff is very well prepared in solving some minor problems which you might encounter on your travels. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are equipped with Type-G converters. The rooms are clean and the bathroom even has a comb, razor blade and shaving balm, besides the usual shower gel and shampoo.

The pictures are outdated, the furniture could use a restoration and some polish. When we arrived nobody waited for us even tough we booking an airport transfer from the hotel, this was particularly annoying since I could not buy a new sim card at the airport, because almost everything was closed and my roaming failed, the hotel didn't answer on WhatsApp and I ended up taking a taxi from the airport which costed more than the transfer. The manager did make up for this by giving me a free transfer for my departure flight and this time everything was ok,

The hotel is very central and makes going anywhere easy. The room coms with a microwave, plates and cutlery, a fridge and a safe. The staff are amazing. They go so far over and above to make sure your stay is perfect. From every level they are helpful, courteous and professional.

Very economical lodging in central Dar es Salaam, comes with a safe, air conditioning and 300 cable channels. Be sure to check out the local restaurants Mamboz BBQ and Chef’s Pride.

There is a mosque right next door so if you want to avoid loud early morning call to prayer announcements you may want to find another place (but may be hard to avoid in Dar Es Salaam)
