Wow what a luxurious place, the staff here makes you feel like home . They go above and beyond to ensure that your needs are actually being accommodated. They understand that traveling is not easy most important with kids . The owner and leadership team ensures that you are being accommodated well . They are very respectful, kind , and polite. Most important very child friendly environment . Mall is right next to the hotel with everything you need . Thank you so much , since my daughter is autistic they are very very much caring and always considerate towards her needs . A disability friendly environment. I was pleasantly surprised at how great my stay was at Aura Suites. I booked this hotel at the last minute because my previous hotel made me feel uncomfortable. I was able to book the morning of, at a great prices for the 1-bedroom suite I stayed in. The location was great given that I wanted to be closer to the ferry terminal due to my intentions to visit Zanzibar during my stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the restaurant on the 16th floor had great food options, and the laundry service was clutch.

Honestly, there was nothing I did not like about the property. It was perfect for what I needed during my short stay.

My stay at Aura Suites in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, was absolutely perfect! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The rooms are beautiful and well-appointed, offering a comfortable and luxurious stay. I felt safe throughout my entire visit, which is always a top priority for me. The location is ideal, with a large supermarket conveniently located right underneath the suites. Bajaj rides are readily available just outside, making it easy to get around the city. The amenities are fantastic—there’s a rooftop pool and a gym, which were perfect for unwinding and staying active during my stay. Housekeeping was thorough and made sure everything was spotless. I highly recommend Aura Suites to anyone visiting Dar es Salaam. It's a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and excellent service.

This property is arguably the best budget-friendly places to stay in Dar Es Salaam! When we arrived we were greeted with a lovely fresh hibiscus welcome drink in a lemongrass scented lobby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was incredibly spacious and very comfortable. We had four people staying in our room and there were plenty of bathrooms, living space, good kitchen amenities, AC, and soundproofing so even on level five, we did not hear noise from the streets with windows closed. The breakfast had a very good selection - this included Indian foods such as ‘chole bhature’ as well as eggs made to order, cereals, breads and masala tea which was very enjoyable. You can also enjoy the sites of Dar Es Salaam while you are having breakfast because it is situated on the top floor where you can access rooftop facilities too!

There were only a couple of minor issues I did not like which would have been easily fixable if raised but we were only there two nights so did not bother. Firstly, the showers in our rooms drained slowly. The shower itself was powerful and of high quality but the drain was the only issue there. The curtains in my room did not fully close (they were too small) meaning I had to wear an eye mask or I would be awoken with the sun. The soap dispenser in one of the bathrooms was broken and we had to open the whole container and use it. Other than this, there was little else wrong with the property and most importantly, NONE of these issues would stop me from staying at the property again.

Aura Suites was our place for a group of 5 and we had a 3 rooms apartment which was very spacious. We basically used it as a hotel but common areas (living room and kitchen) were big enough to be fully functional. Everything clean and in great shape. We were allowed early entry which was great. It is about 45 minutes from the DeS airport (normal days). We had lunch and dinner at the top level restaurant which was of great value for money. International food well prepared. The breakfast was very, very complete with all sort of items. Would absolutely recommend this place for short stays in DeS

The room was spacious and furnished with everything one may need, both to make yourself comfortable on the couch or on a chair, and to arrange your clothes and other stuff. It was also very comfortable to work on the laptop, with multiple sockets around and a special working desk. The wardrobe was huge and for all kinds of clothing. There is also a safe so you don‘t have to carry a big amount of cash or any valuables with you. The bed was so comfortable and the bed sheets were very fresh, it was really pleasant to sleep there but unfortunately we were for a short stay (1,5 days) and could not enjoy it for couple of days. Everything was super clean, which is probably the most important thing. We were on the 5th floor and had a wonderful view of Dar from our balcony. The views were even more exciting on the top of the bulding where the open-air restaurant is situated, so you are going to enjoy not only delicious food and a very friendly service, but also the evening cool breeze and nightview of Daressalaam. The hotel is situated in the very center so it is perfect to discover the busy streets. The staff works very professionally but keeping it friendly at the same time. We would really love to spend more time there.

We would just like to kindly advise the staff to adjust the air conditioners on a bit warmer degree, because it is extremely hot outside and extremely cold inside (though very pleasent for the first one minute:))) and the contrast is very big, it makes easy to catch a cold. But on the other hand, the guests can do it themselves:))

The location, the security, the cleanliness and the overall atmosphere all contributed to make it a beautiful stay.

I didn't like that the staff would always wait for a tip after doing the bare minimum, to the extent that one staff member literally changed her attitude from pleasant to annoyed because we didn't give her anything. This behaviour is disgusting!

The space was large enough for a family to stay and the well-decorated interior was very nice. The location is a bit outside the city center, but there are restaurants and a supermarket in the same building. And since the markets are nearby, it's great for shopping.

Other staff are generally friendly. However, the staff in the lobby are unfriendly. In particular, there was an issue with the breakfast amount upon check-out, and the attitude toward resolving it was very poor. So I had to go back and forth to the restaurant on the 16th floor. Regardless of how big or small the amount was, there was absolutely no will to resolve it kindly. Because only one key was given regardless of the number of people in the room, it was inconvenient to move around. And even though I stayed for several days, it was inconvenient that the electricity was cut off at 10 a.m. and I had to log in to the internet again. Even after 10 o'clock, the keys didn't work so I had to go to the lobby again. I think this is also a problem with the lobby staff.

The suites are large and good value for money with a decent lounge, kitchen and bathroom. The restaurant has a variety of dishes with a stunning view of Dar es Salaam.

The air conditioner unit in the bedroom would randomly leak water. Most of the satellite TV channels did not work. Consumables such as the shower gel and conditioner were only replaced upon request and not during housekeeping. The WiFi would disconnect randomly and low in most areas except for the restaurant.

I've stayed at this place before so I was very familiar with the accommodation. I had some issues with the noise in my room, but then the lovely staffs helped me move and made sure I had a room which is less noisy. The room is very spacious and has everything one needs. There is a mall just next to the residence where you can get things for your daily use. The living room and bedroom are very big. There's a kitchen in case you feel like cooking for yourself.
