We enjoyed our time at Family Tanote Bay. It’s a beautiful beach and looking at the resort from the beach is just amazing. There is a scooter rental attached which is good as Tanote bay is a bit off. The food was ok. There are better places around (also here you need a scooter). There is a water refill for the staff. We asked if we could use it and they allowed it. As there are no water refill stations on the island but a lot of waste, it would be great to offer a water refill for guests as well.

Some areas within the resort are used as depot for old coral and other waste. For our kids who love to explore every corner, this was a bit dangerous not to cut their feet in one of those places.

Thank you for this relaxing stay at your great resort! The people at the resort was always kind, cute and friendly. I stayed in a lovely hillside bungalow with a private bathroom (toilet traditionally with a bucket for flushing). Fan (more than sufficient for me). Very comfortable bed for my need. Balcony with fantastic view over the bay. I felt very comfortable, like at home. or even better :). Everything is clean, the bungalow is cleaned upon request and the towels are changed on demand, very ecological, I think that's perfect. I was even lucky to have a (shy) Tokay Gecko living in my bungalow, it's fascinating to live in the middle of nature! The excellent cuisine in the Resort's own Restaurant deserves special mention! You can also get a Thai-spicey version on request, it is delicious :). and the fruit plate was great, with 5 types of fruit! The beautiful and daily lovingly maintained garden, where many frangipani are currently blooming, is just a dream. On the beach below, hammocks and deck chairs invite you to relax. There are shade and sun spots. And the highlight is a really great beach bar from K with super friendly service. Don't miss it out. It is also possible to rent fins and snorkels there. Did I mention that Tanote Bay is a scuba diving and snorkeling dream? Maybe good to know: there are a lot of stairs, both down to the resort and back up to the bungalows. Tanote Family Resort is absolutely recommended for those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers. I hope to come back soon. :) Thank you everybody so much!

The staff was so friendly. The location is exceptionally beautiful. Very laid back vibe. Epic covered porch restaurant /chill space with good food. Beautiful grounds with little cabins, large flowering plants, on the beach. Best snorkelling! Gorgeous views.

Better maintenance for repairs in rooms. Was clean but could have been a bit cleaner.

The location was amazing! Although quite a distance from the main resort town, it was worth the effort to get there! The family were so friendly and helpful, especially Mung! Would definitely recommend for a true rustic escape.

The mosquitoes in the evening! Remember to use repellent!!

the property is located on a beautiful little bay on the other side of the island from the pier. it’s quiet and peaceful. the staff was kind and helpful and really made us feel like family. we had a beautiful balcony overlooking the bay. we couldn’t believe how nice it was for the price. there’s a kind man named K who runs bar on the beach that will watch your things while you’re swimming. he even saved a woman who fell from some rocks while we were staying there. walking distance to Montalay dive center which was great.

Location, restaurant, staff, view, rooms all very good for the money. Friendly and helpful staff. Very enjoyable. And not least, that beach and coral.....

The location is amazing, the beach front bungalows were lovely and staff were great! Definitely coming back again.

Still coming out of the pandemic and so the restaurant wasn’t open. good restaurants down the beach though. accommodation could have been cleaned more frequently.

Breakfast was great….fruit w/ yogurt. All food was good!

2 leaks over my bed when it rained! But it was addressed and didn’t leak when it rained again.

Beautiful location! The bay is a quiet gem. The cabins could use some tender love and care. Great place for snorkelling and the bay also has Padi diving courses.

Run by a nice family, beautiful views from balcony, comfortable bed
