Staff was unbelievable. I had a medical emergency and they took me to the hospital, waited, took me to a 2nd hospital, waited, and drove us back after 3.5 hours at 12 PM on a Friday night. They brought us breakfast to our room the following morning. They were helpful with fast communication on Line to get new Internet codes, send up breakfast, and coordinate. What an AMAZING experience. Room was great with 2 bathrooms, a bedroom, and social area. Bed was firm and comfortable. Sky Bear was great with wonderful food, amazing smoothies all for a great price. If I am ever back in Udon Thani, I am staying at Amanta.

Nothing. Everything was as or better than expected. We had a great experience at Amanta.

Security was not really given. Everybody can walk in to the hotel on the side entrance and don’t need to pass the reception. The staff doesn’t speak English, only Thai. Inside the room, there was no daytime curtain and hotel guests from the opposite building can see everything what you do in the room! For Wi-Fi, a daily login ritual was necessary which is annoying. It’s noisy because of a Main Street and the roof bar from the hotel with load music.

Very clean, beautiful hotel with very attentive breakfast staff.

Loud music can be heard all night from a closely property. The managers really ought to keep filing noise complaints until the police stop the constant noise. Construction occurring across the street all night and all day.

Virtually everything - family suite was perfect, service was great, fitness suite was ideal and breakfast was excellent (with good coffee and selection). Will always stay there whenever we're in Nong Khai.

The daily Wifi codes are still a nightmare with a limit of one code per device per day (which cannot be used by other devices). Once you're connected, it's fast, but it's a pain keeping track of 18+ little bits of paper when you're staying for 6 nights and have 3 people's devices you need to connect (laptop, phone, tablet, etc.). My recommendation is always to buy a month-long unlimited data 4G/5G sim card and use that instead!

The room was clean, the beds comfortable and there was a large bathroom with a good shower. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was excellent, lots of different dishes, all freshly made

wifi password is changing everyday. not close to city center. needed taxi to go around.

The hotel itself is excellent. Good rooms, comfortable beds, pleasant staff.

The hotel was 2 kms away from everything I find interesting in Nong Khai, so tuktuk or taxi everytime you go out.The gym was closed for maintenance.

Location and breakfast

The hotel is located in a quiet area. However, the walls and floors between rooms are quite thin so we could hear the noise from other rooms clearly. The light in the bathroom was broken but no one fixed it after the cleaning service. We stayed at room 505.

I thought the restaurant and food was very good with not quite spectacular views over the Mekong as other high rise building spoilt the view. On my night of visiting there were too many clouds to witness a fantastic sunset.

Amanta Hotel wifi leaves a lot to be desired compared to similar hotels in the area. You have to input a user name and password every day and your not guaranteed that it will last the full 24 hours and it terminates when your at a crucial point of doing something. Mine terminated at just after 10pm one night and I just couldn't be bothered to go all the way to reception to get a new contract, as that it what Amanta calls them. Also, one receptionist need learn some etiquette when dealing with customers as she literally demanded my passport without any please or thank you, but on the other hand one was very helpful on setting up my wifi with a new contract.
