Great location: The resort is located in a very tranquil location and has a private beach. We have enjoyed both golden and rainy day sunsets. Staff: The staff is accommodating & responsive - booking tours via the concierge and dinner at the beach restaurant were delightful.

Esp breakfast: the local foods provided were OK, yet many of the non-local ones were frozen foods and cooked in a rather amateur way. My suggestion is to read at least the manual of the frozen foods you purchased or consult your peers to ensure you're procuring the right food and cooking them in an acceptable way.

The best hotel we've ever stayed in, without a doubt! The best aspect about Surin is undoubtedly the staff. We stayed for seven days, and the service was consistently outstanding. The cottages are lovely and the location is ideal! It's the perfect place to relax and refuel. The breakfast was excellent, and we also enjoyed the happy hour at the beach bar during sunset. A visit to the spa is also highly recommended. We'll be back, for sure!

Honestly, I cannot think of any disadvantages of Surin. If I have to name one, it would be the stairs leading to our cottage. We didn't mind, but if you don't like climbing stairs, you should book a room below the lobby level.

the room was fantastic - though we did notice the first room we got had this smell of damp but the second upgraded room does not have it - so if you are lucky you get a perfect room. the upgraded delux room was just the perfect holiday stay for us, super clean and comfortable, facing the sea from the room and from the balcony.

location and food... location we find it is far from most resorts but it is a good trade off for this price breakfast I have to say is really poor--- definitely not the star hotel level - more like a air bnb level. we had breakfast included but after one try we just skipped and found something outside the hotel.

The staff were exceptional, even for Thailand. The beach is beautiful and the reservation system for seats/umbrellas took the stress out of finding a seat in the morning.

the staff were amazing, from the minute I arrived through to every interaction was just flawless. including the lovely local beach ladies who kept me hydrated! the villas are beautiful and exceptionally clean, I was near the lobby so stairs weren’t so bad but if you’re in a hillside villa be prepared for a steep climb in the heat. breakfast was incredible, huge buffet and a La carte options, I ate in the poolside restaurant and got room service once or twice which was good but pricey. nice coffee machine and little cookies daily, plus fruit in the room. near a few great places to walk to for real Thai food, and beach drinks but Surin is upmarket so don’t expect anything too cheap nearby, Audy was great and HugoHub down the road. The beach is hands down one of the best I have been to in Thailand, super clean and crystal clear waters with loads of water activities if you want them. You feel you’re in your own little slice of luxury at the Surin!

I think it’s Phuket in general but the prices at the Surin for drinks were more expensive than in London, I was pretty shocked. Most places on the west side of the island have an upmarket vibe and you pay through the teeth for it but that works for this crowd! I haven’t been to Phuket in years and it’s absolutely catering for the wealthy crowd so bring your AMEX. No shuttle of any sort to local beaches or areas which was a shame, used Grab for a taxi, it is of course insanely expensive, but good to have an app for food/taxis. final whinge on prices - really unsure how you can justify the laundry prices at around £2+ per item for a wash, that blew my cheapskate mind 😂

The menu is a little limited although the food is very good. Privacy between rooms is not good .

The Surin Phuket Resort, is a dream of a location, situated on a beautiful, white sand, blue water private beach, a wonderful place to swim, lie in the sun and read a book. The staff always organised our sun lounges close together making for a special family time. Our breakfast was a delight of beautiful fresh local fruits and juices, I am gluten free and I was always so well looked after and the family enjoyed a large variety of dishes for breakfast. The room was so beautiful, the king size bed was so comfortable, the room spacious a luxury bathroom and views looking over the ocean and bay. The resort is surrounded by trees giving you a feeling of complete encasement in luxury.

Very stylish hotel with amazing and caring people! This is truly design hotel where all small details are taken in the consideration, even sun hat for ladies and gentlemen. Great for your photos :-) The breakfasts are amazing, great choice and personal attention. The personal second morning knew what kind of coffee we prefer. People are extremely helpful and caring. The place is so beautiful - small, private and safe beach, two other nice beaches next by, different local restaurants and massages around the hotel. Just be aware that the hotel is on the hill and there are a lot of steps what was not a problem for us.

Overall is ok

During check in it was asked 2000 THB per day of deposit which is around 900 us$ if you stay 2 weeks !!! When trying to pay this deposit with 3 différents credit cards the staff said that our card was with insufficient balance which was absolutely not true . Their machine was just not working . This is very embarrassing to hear that from the staff of a 5 stars hotel.
