Great central location with the metro station less than 2 mins walk away. The breakfast spread was superb and the view was to die for with spectacular uninterrupted views of the Blue Mosque and the rest of the city skyline. The room and hotel was exactly what we needed, perfect for long weekend in Istanbul and at the end of our long days of walking around we were delighted with the extremely comfy beds. The staff service was fantastic and in particular Gagri on the front desk who was always on hand and happy to help and answer our queries and questions. Highly recommend this hotel

The shower water was a little too hot and the cold water stream was very small, but this was only our preference.

Location is excellent, a short walk to all major attractions in the old town, really friendly staff, bars/restaurants literally on the doorstep. Breakfast was lovely and a fantastic view to start your day. 20% discount at the neighbouring bar/restaurant is a real bonus!

We struggled with the temp in the room. All air con had been switched off and heaters on due to the time of year. Although our heater in the room was off, our room was at 25 deg every night, asked for a fan but the hotel didn’t have any, advice was to leave the balcony doors open (even then the lowest we got the temp was 22 deg). This door open was fine as we were 3 floors up, however we were directly above the bars/ restaurant which closed down approx 12.30am ish and with morning prayer time and the bars stocking up approx 6/6.30ish we had very little sleep. Being able to use the AC or even a fan would have made a huge difference.

The location is very good, everything is about 5-10 mins walk, for further distances the tram is also very near. Breakfast is great, multiple choices with many authentic turkish food. The room was clean and - compared to other hotels I checked - quite big. They also store your bags for free after you check out if you have late flight and want to explore some more of the city without luggages.

The Wifi is not really working in the edge of the hotel. We were in room 302 and I can get only some poor reception near the main door. It is also quite noisy because there is a pub just under the rooms and the windows are not too soundproof. The bed is a bit too soft, so that can be a problem for people with spine issues. The hotel has a terrace with a very nice view and it was a shame that we couldn't see it at night. It would be great if they could provide opportunity for it, like opening the terrace for an hour at dark or something. There were some roadworks just in front of our windows and they were drilling up the concrete and grinding something at 2. am. This is not the hotel's fault, but be prepared for everything :D.

Location: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The location of the hotel room couldn't be better. Situated just a stone's throw away from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, it offers great convenience for exploring Istanbul's historical treasures. Additionally, the tram line being a mere 2-minute walk away makes getting around the city a breeze. Breakfast: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The breakfast provided at this hotel was delightful. With a wide array of options, predominantly Turkish cuisine, there's something to suit every palate. However, it's worth noting that there was only one type of salami for meat lovers, which might be limiting for some guests. Staff: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Polite and friendly. They changed the room on the spot because the balcony door was not properly closing and helped us with the luggage.

Noise Level: ⭐⭐⭐ The proximity to restaurants downstairs results in some noise filtering into the room, particularly at night. Unfortunately, the windows aren't soundproof, but this inconvenience is manageable. Cleanliness: ⭐⭐⭐ The cleanliness of the room could have been better. While it wasn't unacceptable, there were areas that could have used more attention. Wearing slippers is recommended.

Our staying at Anthemis hotel was exceptional: - a really nice, well-furnished, and clean room, with a lovely balcony; - great breakfast with a wide variety of food, and an amazing view from the terrace; - incredible, really friendly and helpful staff, who makes you feel like at home - thank you very much for your welcoming service, guys! And special thanks to Ali❤️ - and absolutely wonderful location - 5 mins walk from all the main sights of Sultanahmet district, with all the lovely cafes and restaurants nearby. In general, our experience with Anthemis hotel is 10/10 :)

Location is superb! Just a block from the T1 Tram. You can easily walk to Hagia Sofia, Sultanahmet, Basilica Cistern and all other attractions. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Massa Bistro downstairs is associated with the hotel. Rooms are clean, good size and we had a great view of the Sultanahmet Mosque. Breakfast is served daily on the 6th floor and there's a great selection of Turkish options. Sinan, who manages the Breakfast area is awesome! Always attentive to guests. Hotel management is very professional and courtesy. Both Sakan & Duan were willing to help with directions, tips, recommendations and tour options. Should we return to Istanbul in the future, we'll definitely be back to the Anthemis.

Cozy hotel in the heart of Istanbul. Only 1 minute away from the tram station, thus, it is easy to get to any part of the city from the property. Nevertheless, it is quite quiet in the night in the area even though it is a historical center. The room is small, though, comfortable. Every day cleaning did a good job. The breakfast was nice, the view of the breakfast terrace never disappointed. Below the property there is a restaurant that provides 20% discount for the hotel guests. The staff is friendly, you always feel welcomed. We ordered a transfer from IST airport to the property and everything was very well communicated and performed.

My sister and I felt so welcome from the first minute! They were all so kind and helpful with us! The room was perfect for what we needed and the beds were really comfortable! We had free water bottles in the small fridge of the room and they even changed us the towels and provided us more shampoo etc when it was done! I chose this hotel for the amazing breakfast view and it didn't disappoint me!!! They also have a restaurant exactly next to the hotel and they provided us a 20% discount ❤️ I will definitely go again! ❤️

We liked the hotel, the rooms are small, but quite comfortable and clean. The location is excellent, there are many significant tourist locations nearby to visit, but be prepared for the loud sounds of the call to prayer early in the morning. The breakfast was also good and delicious, the dishes changed. The hotel provided us with a comfortable transfer from the airport and back at an affordable price. There is a great view from the breakfast terrace, but the terrace is only open during breakfast. Perhaps it would be better to give the opportunity to go up there the rest of the time. In general, this is a good option for a vacation.

One of the administrators, who was at the time of check-in, completely ignored our requests and answered everything with "I do not know". The coffee machine should be replaced with a better one. The current coffee machine makes a "coffee cocktail", not coffee.
