A great hotel, a short walk from Galata Tower, interesting streets, and transport. Staff were delightful and made our stay relaxing. We had room 402, Deluxe Sea View. It was spotless and exactly like the photos, if anything, even nicer. Serviced daily to a high standard. A Turkish rug made the room beautiful. There is an excellent terrace on the top floor for breakfast and also drinks, which you can order simply with the phone there. We received the front door code, but there is always an attentive staff member faster than us to open the secure door. I recommend this hotel. Soundproofing was fine. We stayed ten days and were satisfied, would stay again.

No complaints A future guest may like to note it does not have an operating hammam or sauna, the description should be edited. For further information, the elevator does not extend to the terrace so from an accessibility perspective you will need to be able to use stairs for one floor.

The room was big, bright and well equipped. The view was great. The shower and restroom were well designed. I enjoyed my room. Besides, the location was great, a couple of miles from the Galata Tower, Eminönü and Karakoy. You just walk there. Transportation is near also whether it's the metro of bus. The staff were very nice and helpful for every inquiry. The breakfast was great also, it's in the terrace in the 7th floor offering a mesmerizing view on the city I highly recommend it!

We stayed for 6 nights in this beautiful hotel and were absolutely delighted! The service and staff were excellent, very friendly, and incredibly welcoming. Our spacious room on the 6th floor was tastefully decorated (the owner is an architect) and always spotless. The stunning sea view was a highlight we enjoyed every day. The hotel also has a very good location, with the metro, Galata Tower, and Istiklal Street nearby. It was fantastic to have the option to order breakfast to our room or enjoy it on the terrace, which offered an equally wonderful view. In summary: Highly recommended!

Room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Despite the location of the hotel near to the busy street, with closed windows it was really quiet and we had a good sleep. We enjoyed the view from the window to the old city and Golden Horn. It was easy to walk from the hotel to the main attractions. We really liked the roof top terrace - view was incredible! It was so nice to sit there in the evening and admire all the city lights and illuminated mosks. And staff at the reception was really nice and helpful - thank you! Coffee and breakfast was very good too. We would stay here again.

We LOVED the location, it's about 500m from the Galata Tower and the Şishane Metro Station is opposite, with the Ṣ̌ishane bus stop being close as well. This quaint hotel has a functional lift, which was a prerequisite for us being on the top floor. The views from the room and from the large quiet communal terrace are spectacular. The fully air-conditioned room is serviced daily, has a kettle, cups, glasses, sugar and coffee sachets in the room as well as a flat screen TV and a bar fridge. Our room was 3 sleeper with a beautiful marble bathroom and was comfortable for us, with our luggage bags. We only had breakfast at the hotel one day however, it was ample and good value for the price, when compared to breakfasts prices elsewhere. The owner gave us valuable tips and advice on our way out every morning. I would definitely stay here again.

The duvet on our bed was a little too small for a queen sized bed and there is no microwave in the hotel kitchen to have food warmed, but the staff tried their best to heat our food on their hot plate.

The view from the terrace is breathtaking. Breakfast is served there and it is abundant. Next to the basics they serve every day another egg-dish for variation. The rooms are nice and comfy but nothing special and the view is not as good as it seemed but the terrace's view and the exceptionally friendly attitude of the staff makes up for it 10 times over. The location is very central and you can reach Eminönü (where e.g. the Grand Bazaar is located) or the famous istiklal street in just a few minutes time. We would stay there anytime again.

I really loved my stay here, I loved everything about it! It was nicely decorated, each staff member was welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived, the room was big and comfortable, and I felt completely safe. I honestly felt like I was at home there. The location was perfect - near Galata tower but off the really busy street. Close to buses and walkable to tram. And some lovely cats to say hello to nearby :) I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

- The room was perfect with all the facilities we needed like the fridge, kettle, hairdryer, AC, towels and more. - The room has the best views! Our request were also catered for, thank you! - The hotel has a brilliant panoramic terrace on the top floor that you could use the whole day and it is also a perfect place for breakfast. - The breakfast was plentiful, varied and delicious. - Daily cleaning was superb. - The staff are all very friendly and helpful with everything. - The location of the hotel is really convenient - just a 3 min walk away from the metro station, 5 min walk from the Galata tower and about 10 min away from the furnicular down to Kadiköy or the tram to the old town. - We will certainly stay here again next time we are back in İstanbul - From Ponnapat and Austeja

Nothing, everything was perfect.

The room is great and well worth the price; there is plenty of room and it doesn't feel like claustrophobic. The ensuite is well-equiped and there was no issue with the shower/toilet. It was nice that towels and floor mats were renewed every morning during cleaning. I got a lot more than what I was expecting The view from the room is nice. Even though it is near a couple of busy roads, with the windows closed, you can't hear a thing; something I didn't expect when staying in the city centre. The bed and pillows were comfy, and there is aircon to warm/cool the room. The terrace, breakfast, and view is also a big bonus. The Turkish breakfast had lots of choice, and was tasty. The view at breakfast and at night is a great way to start or end the day. The location is superb. There is a central line station a few minutes walk away which connects to the rest of the metro system. The ferry port is just down the hill, and easy to navigate. The tourist spots are just around the corner but, with easy access to transport, you can avoid these places quite easily. Staff were always very helpful and attentive. There is always someone available when entering or leaving the building - there is a bell at the door if there doesn't seem to be anyone at the desk - and you're always greeted when coming or going.

Although the bed was comfy, I didn't realise many "double" beds were two singles tied together at the middle. This was not an issue after the first night, the beds never separated which is what I thought would happen.

Our flight was delayed and the hotel made it a point to check up on us to know if we were fine or not. That was just the beginning of the continuous good service, the hotel staff made it a point to provide exceptional hospitality throughout our stay 24/7. The room was just perfect and they had a lovely terrace overlooking the whole of Istanbul. Plus point is the sishane metro is a 200m walk and the Galata Tower was a 6 minute walk only so that made it so convenient for us, metros are amazing to get around Istanbul. From now on, this will definitely be my go to Hotel, I can’t imagine staying anywhere else because they truly provide a home away from home.
