The room was a good size for me and my two teenage children. The location was excellent, with many good restaurants nearby and shops. It was also near two tram stations and an easy walk to lots of attractions.

When we arrived my daughter went to look at the Spa and was told she was allowed to use it, but would have to pay extra for treatments. We tried to use it one day but we were told by someone else that the type of room we had booked did not allow spa access. This wasn't clear when we originally booked. It was a little disappointing but we didn't have much time to use the spa anyway, because our days were busy!

It felt like they were doing just enough as required by 4 star hotel. Not trying to go out of the way to make customers feel comfortable.

We were really pleased with our stay We had a wonderful stay in Gulhane Park Hotel THE stay was lovely All staff ( receptionists ,breakfast staff , cleaners ) were very efficient and respected, helpful, supported when needed & and attention was fantastic The staff make you feel like part of their family and give wonderful support in every need .... Located is Great : and very close to the tram station within 4 minutes and many important places within walking distances ... Metro station in the next street 3 minutes walk Gulhane Park is in Place wa clean The breakfast staff were friendly,and the service at the breakfast was fantastic Breakfast with nice variety ...and tasty thank all the hotel members for everything we were very happy in our stay , All thanks to Allah, we were lucky with this hotel We feel like our home Excellent place to stay If Allah will come to Istanbul again, Will definitely come again to this place. inshallah Highly recommendable hotel.

To be honest we Like every thing

We stayed twice (two nights before our cruise, one night after. The rooms were large and well laid out and the bathroom was modern and very clean. The lobby area was comfortable. Everything we wanted to see (Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, Spice bazaar etc) were within easy walking distance. We picked the hotel specifically because it had a roof terrace and because there were Turkish bath facilities on site. The staff were super friendly and helpful - offering us maps and suggesting places to visit.

The view from the room was of a building site, but i guess in a city centre that can't be helped and there was no noise to disturb us. The advertising gave the impression we would be having the price included breakfast on the roof terrace - that was not the case and we would have to pay extra to have breakfast there. After our cruise, the taxi could not find his way to the hotel (said the street was blocked - it wasn't) and we had to drag our cases about half a mile - other cruise guests staying there also had taxi's that dropped them off in another part of Sultanahmet and told them they had walk the rest of the way. I know this is not uncommon for tourists arriving in the old town generally because of heavy traffic issues, but it was quite annoying in 30 degree heat.

So,from where I can start. For you people that you going holidays and you wait to find something to write a bad review first.. The place is not the building or the color of the curtains, or if your bedsheets are not perfect done! You going holidays to relax and feel comfortable like home! Well,that's the perfect spot! The kindness from the people it was exceptional! The service double points ‼️ The cleanliness good and fresh daily 👌 Location very good with metro and tram next to you. Food really yummy. You must visit the restaurant in the terrace!! You have everything you need in front of you! Thank you so much for making my stay here feel like home!! I will definitely come back!

Location was excellent, next to Gulhane Park and close the Bosphorus. I enjoyed the early morning walks in the Park, which I highly recommend. The Gulhane tram station is only a 5 minutes walk away, and the line takes you directly to Dolmabahce, Kabatas, Galatta Port (my favourite evening spot) and various other tourist areas. Sultan Ahmet area is walking distance too (10 mins). Dont miss dinner by the Bosphorus at Saray Burnu cafe, 10mins walk from the hotel, we only discovered this on our last day, good food, reasonable price and excellent view.

The hotel was very clean. I booked a family room, with one double and two single beds and another double room. Room was big and had a balcony. We had air conditioning which was much needed. The hotel staff was incredibly polite and kind. Always offer help. The rooms were serviced daily. The bathrooms were big and spacious. They provided fresh new towels everyday. Hotel was very well located, 3 mins walk from the tram that can take you anywhere you need to go. Also about 10 mins walk from Blue Mosque. Breakfast was very nice and cakes were delicious. They had cereal for kids too. The hotel was very accommodating to my needs as I wanted something on the first floor and they managed to reserve that for me. My flight was in the evening and I had to checkout at 12, however hotel manager allowed us to keep our luggage’s and bags at the hotel while we go out and have lunch before our flight which was really great as we had a lot of bags. Shout out to some of the staff, breakfast staff, Sinan from reception and Aziz. Thank you for making our stay great.

I am a big fan of British Tea. I couldn’t find British tea anywhere. So if you love tea, pack some tea bags. They have kettles in the rooms so you can make yourself a cuppa! The Hotel had Turkish tea and cappuccino and lots of other teas which was nice for everyone else.

Hello guy, we're absolutely recommend this place as for your stay in Istanbul. The place located in likely private street and nice window view of the city, and also close by Historical areas and the Blue & Aya Sofia Masjid, and it super easy to get to the restaurant and (civiner) shop. We choose to stay at the "apartment" that have a big room providing a necessary stuff, super convenient, make your holiday feel like home. Morning breakfast is well provide. Staff are super nice, and super helpful. If you need anything, anything at all, just ask them. Can't wait for the next trip.

It was clean, and the staff were amazingly nice and helpful. Even at the night of arrival, when I left my phone in the taxi, they went out of their way to help me to find the phone and get it back to me. They helped my dad with his disability for his comfort every time, which was very nice of them. The room was clean and tidy Food for breakfast had several options, and you would be able to find something you would like. Also, the breakfast staff were fast in cleaning tables and refilling the buffet. The rooftop restaurant was beautiful and had the best staff they could get. Nice always smiling, and doing his best give make you comfortable Also the receptionist was very helpful when I informed them that my parents would arrive before me, he promised to accommodate them which happened as his promised.

The room was smaller than what I assumed. If I knew the room was that small, I would make a request before arriving to get a bigger one. Sheets were clean but very old, and there were some holes in them that came from the age of the fabric and constant washing. The ari conditioning wasn't working well, the 1st night it was so hot that I had to leave the door open and second day that the staff helped me to turn it off every morning the cooking smell from the kitchen was in our room in 3rd floor. The menue of the restaurant was limited and kinda pricey, and the price of "plate for 2" was more than double price of same plate for one which logically should be less to encourage guests to choose it.

On arrival and throughout my stay the staff were very welcoming, helpful and pleasant to deal with. The rooms clean, spacious and comfortable, the breakfast service selection was exceptional and the roof top terrace is a great place to relax away from huddle and bustle of Istanbul again with superb service and selection of food and drinks. The reception area is also a great spot to relax and have a tea, coffee. Location is superb with a lot of the main Istanbul attractions a short walk away including the Blue Mosque, the Grand Bazaar and the Basilica Cistern all within 5-10 minutes walk. I also had the Sultan Spa package which was very good and very relaxing, again a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, of course followed by an Iced Coffee on the roof terrace!!

There are some building works going on across the road but nothing the hotel can do about that.
