This is maybe the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Unbelievable value for money, the room I was in was relatively (by hostel standards) quiet, the bed very clean, with a [working!!] socket nearby and curtains for privacy – you don't see these very often! The neighborhood is quiet. The staff is amazing – they helped me with everything I need, and I witnessed how they helped my roommates too.

I was very eager to award a well-earned 10 but there is one thing that should be improved: the shower room, at least where I stayed, was well past its prime. :/

An absolutely gorgeous boutique hotel on the Asian side of Istanbul, that reflects well the cozy, relaxed and elegant atmosphere of the surrounding "Moda" neighborhood. Attention to details was paid to every aspects, be it the lovely light curtains around the bed or the arrangement of the furniture in the room. The room was spacious and well-lit, and while I was not there for work, it could have been a place where I'd have seen myself bringing my computer. The "cafe" area was very welcoming and the staff super friendly. Definitely to be recommended for a stay in Istanbul

With its excellent location and their small boutique cafe at the first floor, we were very happy about our stay. They helped us during check-in and staff was very friendly towards us. If you hangout in Kadikoy/Moda (which is one of the decent regions of Istanbul), I would highly suggest this place. Room had enough space and its garden was fun place for hangout/work. Hope to stay in here next time :)

In our first day, we saw some hair in our bed sheets but due to late hour, not mention it to staff. When we asked staff for replacing our bed&pillows in the morning, they quickly helped us. Other than that we didn't see any dust or problem in the room and happy about its hygiene

I had a great stay at this hotel, and there are a few highlights I’d like to mention. The location is fantastic – the “Moda” neighborhood is vibrant and fun, and being so close to the sea made it easy to enjoy relaxing evening walks. The breakfast was delicious, the room was spotless, and I really appreciated the slippers and the welcome coffee – nice touch! Also, it's convenient that you can leave your luggage at the lobby for a while if needed.

On the downside, the Wi-Fi in the room wasn’t great, and I noticed the couch in the café could use a cleaning. Also, the receptionist was a bit too strict and gave off the vibe that she wasn’t too happy to see me, which felt a little uncomfortable.

Nice facilites, but most importantly great little coffee area, with excellent and very friendly stuff. The dorms (hostel) part was in the bottom floor (-1) but temperature, humidify etc were excellent! Soap, towel and slippers were provided. Bed was really comfy. Curtains for privacy were EXCELLENT. And many hangers for your clothes, and drawers were a nice addition! Beds and bathroom were cleaned every day, towels changed every day. Regarding the location: quiet and next to the seaside for walks.

Nothing special. Maybe the bathroom has seen better days, but overall was clean. Also one day we were left without tissues and toilet paper. Coffee and tea were decently priced. But found the food a bit expensive. So I ate mostly out.

Staff exceptional kind and caring. Food fantastic including lovely cups tea. Daily cleaning service kept the towels fresh & rooms comfortable. Curtains for privacy & charging plugs personal lights. A one minute walk to ocean promenade where locals play tennis basketball and evening walks. Ferry to European side run daily .Easy walk to the main areas but situated on quiet street. Lots bakeries coffee shops and markets in area but make sure you try the house burger.

Nothing to mention. Felt like a hotel stay for hostel pricing.great deal . Lots hot water in a large shower . Bonus there was an extra toilet right outside room.

The building is nice. There is a cozy lounge on the first floor where you can use your laptop (outlets available!), relax, drink tea and chat with other people. There is also a spacious terrace adjacent to a quite alley, it's ideally suited for having breakfast or lunch. The meal options are great, too!

Everything is perfect, but the restrooms are a little beyond expectations (there's too little space inside). There's also the scent of tobacco in the lounge (smoking is prohibited there, so it's not that strong). Anyway, the air in the lounge is fresh.

This place is very chilled and has a lovely cafe-like atmosphere. It has got great and all the facilites you need and is super clean. Also the staff is taking good care to make you feel comfortable. The location is perfect as it is right next to the water side, which invites for taking a relaxed walk. It's also just a short walking distance to the busy areas. I also got breakfast at the restaurant that is attached to the hostel, which was delicious. And they make great hot chocolate. Definitely worth staying here for a few days!

Everything was great!

Juliet’s kitchen and room is a wonderful place to stay in Istanbul. The location is ideal for a young woman travelling alone, alone a quiet yet well walked street that I felt very safe on at night, and close by to the very cool streets of Moda. Close to restaurants, cafes, shops and importantly the quay of Kadikoy. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and helped me find my way to where I wanted to go in Istanbul. They made it clear if I needed anything from them at any time, I could ask. The dormitory was clean, comfortable and had great amenities and privacy. The cafe was great, and the staff were very generous with complementary teas of an evening. It was great value for money and I would highland recommend anyone travelling to Istanbul to stay here- especially solo female travellers, for the excellent and safe location.

The only thing to say is that I was disappointed not to find more travellers to make friends with, but I was out all day so this is on me!!!

Staying at Juliet Rooms and Kitchen in Istanbul Moda neighborhood was an unforgettable experience, marked by exceptional service from the staff. As for the cuisine: each dish was a delicious feast, served in generous portions, all at an unbeatable price. The location of the hotel deserves special mention. Just a two-minute walk will have you gazing out over the breathtaking Marmara Sea. The surrounding neighborhood strikes a perfect balance between tranquility and convenience, offering both safety and easy access to beachside bars and restaurants. What sets this hotel apart is the palpable sense of being a valued guest, not just another face in the crowd. The lobby feels like a second home, thanks to its cozy atmosphere and the friendly demeanor of everyone there. The hotel’s decor, both inside and out, adds to its beauty, making every moment of the stay visually pleasing. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Ibrahim and the young ladies at the hotel for their unparalleled hospitality. Their attentiveness made my stay truly memorable. I will definitely visit the hotel again!
