Location is amazing, just outside the busy area so it's convenient at the same time very quiet. Would like to stay here again next time visit Istanbul. The staff is very helpful!

Need to climb some stairs to access there, but on the other hand you can see amazing view when you're climbing.

Everything is magnificent, the most friendly and energetic employees of Istanbul are here! They are always ready for you, working for your comfort. Money is not important for them, they work from heart (they did not accept my big large tip, they told me to give this money to a homeless child outside). I was in Istanbul for an important meeting, I needed to sleep well, prepare well and go to the business interview. I can say that the positive energy that New Taksim Hotel gave me even affected my business interview. Everything was Magnificent! Thank you guys, I will never forget that business trip! I wish all hotels in Istanbul were like yours. Of course we will meet again! In short: -Clean and fresh air -The hotel is right next to the police office (felt safe) -Best location -Ideal for staying with family -Never no noise -Great employees (they are looking for things to help) -Everything is so goog!

WIFI sometimes working slowly

The staff! We arrived in Turkey in a very stressful way as our previous property reservation was a scam. My sister took chances and look for a nearby hotel and we found New Taksim Hotel. From the very first time we stepped in to the hotel, a staff named Sayid was very accommodating and we felt secured as he assisted us to have a room. More than that, he let us feel supported with our needs as he knew what happened to us. Having a staff like Sayid is a an asset to this property. He never failed to offer us any kind of support during our entire stay. Thank you Sayid.

The location is excellent and right next to the metro station. This means that you can plan and visit any place you like in the city. Our host "Emre" is an excellent and polite young man and worth to be trusted for any advice regarding the life and whereabouts of Instabul. He even took care of our car in the hotel parking and the Turkish coffee we were given every morning was a great treat!

The light and the place of the power supplies in the room.

The staff was extremely kind, and the free parking space behind the hotel was appreciated, the location being next to the police station, so very safe. Also, the cleanliness of the hotel is appreciated, as well as the coffee provided by the house. All in all, the location itself is a good one, positioned relatively close to transportation that provides access to all areas of interest in Istanbul.

During the night, unfortunately, a lot of noise produced by the other tourists coming/leaving. The room is rather poorly soundproofed.

I liked that it was close to a metro stop and Istiklal caddesi was not too far. The young man named Rostan (I think that's how you spell it) was a nice person. I was aggrieved that the cleaners threw away my contact lens case (fortunately I was wearing the lenses) and the young man dealt with my frustrations really well. I apologised to him later and he was very kind to accept. The hotel was cosy and the staff did their best to help. Despite two mishaps I'd stay here again if I travelled with friends or solo. It was very cold and snowing but the room was really warm and cosy. I love that it was a very clean hotel.

I didn't have a telephone in my room to contact reception so I had to keep coming to reception to ask them for things on the first two days. On day 3 I asked for a phone to be taken up to my room and plugged in which I think all hotel rooms should have installed ready to use as standard before guests arrive. Also my contact lens case wasn't replaced as promised. The amenities were close but it's all uphill to get there. It was good for me but not for a family.

There was no breakfast but there was tea available in the foyer.

We needed to ask for a second quilt for the double bed, however the reception clerk organized this for us. The room had no water or electric jug. There was no sea view or garden view really, although the description on booking.com says the hotel "boasts" those things. The staff were friendly and helpful in organizing a taxi to the airport, which was half the cost of the airport-based service I arrived with. The nearest restaurant and public transport is up a hill from the hotel, but once there the Pera region is very good and there are cafes with rooftop views.

Every Staff member was very helpfull. They helped us in picking and dropping luggage bags, booked a fair rate taxi for airport for drop off. Location was really good, walking distance to metro, galata tower,Istiklal street and Taksim square. Little bit steap upwards but still manageable with baby strawler.

Room was too tight and very small, some basic fascilities like some combs,tooth paste were missing but overall good experience. I like it

The hotel's prime location in the heart of the city put us in close proximity to numerous landmarks, shopping centers, and local restaurants. This ease of access greatly enhanced our city explorations and overall experience. The hotel itself was comfortable, and family-friendly. Great value for the money

The hotel was in a good location despite the steep hill around it. The staff was also polite. The quality-price ratio was good.

I would like the room to be cleaner. When we entered, the doors were dirty, and the curtains and windows were dusty. There were hairs on the floor.
