We've had a very nice stay. The hotel is situated near the seafront and next to a nice park. Plenty of restaurants closeby. A 25 minute walk to the Kadikoy ferry port. 9 minutes walk to the circle tram. The room was very spacious and had enough storage. Especially for a longer stay the seaview room is a good choice. Also a comfortable couch and seat provided a living room feeling. Our room was situated at the 2nd floor. Still had a nice view at the park, sea and island in the distance. The rooms at the 3rd and 4th floor would provide even a better view. The bathroom is spacious with a comfortable rainshower, handschower and feetshower. All you need was there, shampoo, conditioner, soap, bathropes etc. The place was clean and kept clean during the entire stay. Daily tower swap, trash removed and coffee, tea, water etc restocked every day. There is a bar on the lower floor and the garden. The music can be heard in the room, but not very loud or annoying. The room itself is very quiet. No sound from the neighbours. The area also is very quiet in the morning untill 12u. The staff also where friendly and aprroachable when needed. No annoying selling tours or tickets. All in all Riva's Moda i would recommend Riva's Moda.

Only thing I missed is a breakfast option. But there are plenty of possibilities in the area.

This is a beautiful hotel, great value, in such a great part of the city. We stayed in one of the larger rooms, and it was lovely! Great views of the sea, and really comfortable bed, couch, everything we wanted. Location in Moda is great - a very short walk form the foreshore and great restaurants and cafes. And great cats. Honestly, we would stay here again without any hesitation.

The hotel doesn't have many shared facilities, but you dont need them in such a good location. Bars, cafes, supermarkets etc all within walking distance.

From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room had fantastic air con, it was spacious, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view overlooking the sea. It was a short 10-15 min walk into the bustling neighbourhood of Moda but this area itself felt quiet and relaxing after a very day. There are also some great little breakfast spots 5 minutes in the other direction. (Brekkie, Joe’s and Top Of the Morn). We couldn’t have asked for a better location to spend our first 3 days in Istanbul.

The biggest advantage of this Hotel is the staff. Couldn’t be happier with the guys from the reception: very polite & helpful. - The location is very good, in between the quiet area and the crowded city center. Can access almost every point in the area by walking or taking an electric scooter. - The hotel does not have the breakfast option, but they give discounts for the breakfast cafes in the neighborhood.

Cozy hotel clean and great atmosphere, it's my fourth time there ..also the staff is friendly and helpful they go beyond to make sure that all needs are met.. the location behind the hotel is the moda sahil and park extremely relaxing and happy vibes.. if you are a a cat and dog lovers the area has lots of cute furry friends

Location was perfect, room was very spacious and had amazing view. .Large bed. Good internet. Airconditioning worked. Clean and quiet surroundings.

Only issue was the occasional smell from the drainage in the building came up through the pipes. Had to turn the bathroom fan to remove the smell.

Beautiful view and great area. Friendly staff and comfy bed.

The air con was a bit iffy and we had a few difficulties with the bathroom (door handle fell off - was mended v quickly- and the water temperature was difficult to get right - it kept changing hot to cold.

This hotel is off the beaten path in a residential neighborhood. The hotel is within walking distance of shops, bars, coffee shops, and restaurants. To reach Istanbul city center the metro /ferries are a 20 minute walk or 5 minute by taxi. If you want to feel part of the community this is the perfect place to stay but may not work for folks looking to be in the midst of the tourist attractions.

A bit noisy in the evening especially if there is a football game playing at the stadium which is within walking distance to this hotel.

The location is great. It's pretty close to the heart of Moda and one of the best breakfast places I have ever visited. I wish I could have stayed in the suite. The view from that room is hauntingly beautiful.

Wifi could have been more powerful since I had to work from the room for a while. From time to time my connection was dropped. But overall, it was good.

Lovely small hotel in the heart of Asian part of Istanbul. The stuff was very friendly, helped with all the questions I had, ordered the taxi, advised where to go. There is a beoutiful path down the gulf behind the hotel. And also you can go down on the elivator and come to a cosy bar with beer right behind the hotel.

The bed in our double room could be little wider. As well as the room itself. But the building is small and the rooms eigher.
