Great location - just 3-5 min walk to Taxim mosque and metro and yet away from all the noise. Very quiet in the evenings. The place is clean, the kitchen is equipped with all the necessary things for cooking. Comfortable bed and even fold out couch. Living on the top floor had a big advantage- away from the noise from neighbours. The sound insulation is not too good there.

We stayed 6 nights, and every day smb would smoke downstairs at around noon, and all the smoke would go up from either -1 or 0 floor - all the way up into our rooftop room. Good we were mostly out in the afternoon, and the smell was gone by the evening.

The customer service was very good and Emin in Taksim Sem house was accommodating and helpful.

They have got bins in the toilet which is very good but a plus point would be if they can add a bin in or outside of the room as well, so customers can throw throw wrappers or other non toilet waste in it.

Location is the best! You can get a lot of sightseeing by walking. Our room was on the roof 🥰 it was so impressive. Very clean apartment 👌🏻

We have to wait an hour to get the room and got it at 3 pm only. It was so annoying with kids and after the night flight. Just because stuff could not finish cleaning at time. If you going to get the largest room on the roof be prepared to save your kids from ladder. Stairs starts downward exactly at the middle of the room.

Yavuz was very helpful, especially given that we arrived very late from Sabiha Gökçen; the room was very tidy and clean and we would come back again for a longer stay in the future.

Nothing bad per se, but it's noteworthy that to reach the hotel one must go down a VERY steep slope from the streets surounding Taksim Square, so be in mind, if you're carrying heavy luggage, it's worth it to get a cab to and from the Hotel.

cozy place. The price-quality ratio is normal. It was easy to find on the map, there is a sign. There is water in the room. The only hotel where there was tea, coffee, sugar in the room. Thanks to the staff for their care. The staff is very friendly. The main thing for me is that the air conditioner does not blow on the bed. And you can sleep normally. It is quiet here at night! This is a rarity for hotels here.

The room was very well equipped - cupboards to store your belongings, a fridge, a kettle, crockery, a cosy little sitting area and an ottoman. It was the most practical and cosy room we've ever had. It was also bright, with windows on two sides and very accommodating staff.

The only difficult thing was that as a couple we were not used to sleeping on a shared mattress under a shared blanket. :-) We'll look out for this in the next room.

Location is great you can get there easily, however, during the winter the steep road could be difficult to walk, incredible value for money, thank you for the welcome coffee in the room we consumed it

The view, the heating was difficult to turn off, the window blinds were difficult to operate and did not block all light, the window closed by itself, the refrigerator is locked inside a cabinet where no air is circulating and it gets hot, there is no elevator in the property, the entrance door shuts itself instead of quietly closing

Great value for its price: good location, friendly staff available 24/7 via WhatsApp and the room was perfect with a comfortable bed, glasses, forks, spoons and a kettle to prepare your tea

There was nothing I didn't like. The only thing I would say is that there is no cleaning service

The location was superb in the heart of Taksim square. Istiqlal street was nearby where you can go for shopping and dinning. We initially were quite scared by the comments on internet related to the area that it was shady. Contrary to that we found area quite safe for family with police patrolling for the safety of tourists. Owner was exceptionally very hospitable and the windows were sound proof.

The photos shown on booking.com were of deluxe room and as we booked normal room and it was not mentioned in the booking.com that pictures are different for normal room and deluxe room. Its better to check with owner on WhatsApp to share you the room pictures before making a booking.
